Purchased a garden shed from Stratco on the 7/1/25. We paid for installation and delivery. Josh the installer made contact on the 12/3 and offered the date of 20/3. Monday to be told he would be in contact. Still waiting!! Made contact today and he tells me he no longer installs garden sheds, but is busy building decks and carports. Stratco sales said that lots of people are waiting for sheds to be installed too. Not my problem, Stratco want full payment and can’t deliver what I have paid for. It’s now 3 weeks since I wrote this review. Was contacted by a new installer who said he would ring back next week. Still haven’t heard anything from the installer or Stratco. Do not buy anything from this company.

Sends wrong item, won't refund – EDIT: Post this review, head office have sorted a refund of the incorrectly sent item. incorrect and b) clearly used and had scratches and dirt all over it. We notified the store manager who sent us the order immediately when it arrived. He said he was "looking into it". It's now been weeks and many emails and calls, and the store doesn't respond and when they do, they refuse to refund us for the incorrect item. We have had to make a jig out of leftover plastic because the item stratco sent was wrong (and used), so we could do our fence. Yet, they are still "looking into it". If you sell is a $180 item that isn't right, you are legally obligated to refund it. Whatever internal processes and suppliers you use are not our issue. As mentioned, the items that are right are great. Good luck if they send you the wrong thing.

Excellent service! – We went to Stratco Caboolture 3 times to organize getting a single garage-sized shed. The first time to check what they had, the second time to order the shed, and the third time to change the position of the roller door on the one we had ordered. make sure we were happy. I had been to this store a few times before to buy things needed for work, and even then it struck me how friendly the staff were at this store. And you know hard rare good customer service is these days, right? Just to make it clear, we did not receive any incentive, financial or otherwise, for this review.

Addition after shed delivery: We had to hold off on the delivery due to delays with the slab, and this must have caused some confusion within the system. The delivery went out on the truck on the date originally scheduled, but thankfully the driver called beforehand and I was able to ask him to take it back. When we finally had the shed delivered, they forgot about the roller door. I called the store and they organised the delivery for two days later. Again the driver called ahead each time.

We haven't put the shed up yet, but all the bits are there and the plans are easy to understand. They still deserve the 5-star rating I gave them earlier; just be aware that changing the scheduled delivery date may result in a few minor hiccups.

Ask if customer need help – Ordered my workbench online, staff was helpful once I asked if someone could help.as noone was at the counter, all three staff were at the back on their computers for me to collect my click and collect. False Advertising - False Discount Percentages – A promotion was advertised for an in store sale of up to 75% off on 13th April 2024. 20% off was offered on colourbond fencing products however when trying to make a purchase it was evident that only 7.75% discount was actually being honoured rather than the 20% advertised. sales terms. If you shopped here on 13th April check your dockets and make sure you actually received the advertised discount correctly. If anybody else has had a similar issue regarding this sale on 13th April 2024 with this item or any other item please consider raising your concerns with Stratco in writing to a given email address, and then elevating to the ACCC if necessary. You will need to call Stratco to get the email address for a customer service manager. I can't share it here.

No help whatsoever – Purchased a stratco awning. Wrong posts supplied ( even after i told the salesperson what i required) No plans on how to erect. When I asked for the plans i was told they would be emailed to me. 2 hours later & another 2 phone calls no plans. Ended up driving to stratco only to receive plans hand drawn on paper. Disgusting Customer Service – Paid in FULL for a heritage garden shed. Told it would be ready 27 November, which it wasn’t. Picked up the shed early December. Advised that some parts were missing. Called the next day asking when I could pick up missing parts. Told that the parts need to be manufactured and we would get a call back. That never happened. We rang back again… Read more

asking and was advised that the missing parts are at the Ormeau store ready for pick up or they could deliver. We said we will pick up. Go back to store only to be told “we don’t have anything, it will have to be manufactured”. I emailed asking what was going on, we get told it’s ready then get told it needs to be manufactured. After making many calls , I received a call from the girls in the office saying “ your parts are ready for pick up or did we want them delivered. I said no , we’ll pick up”. Go there again and nothing again. This is getting beyond a joke now. We ring again asking about the problem and if the parts aren’t ready, we want a full refund and Stratco can send someone out to dismantle the partially assembled shed. We receive another call from the office staff advising that the parts are available, go there again, wait for over 30 minutes only to be given the runaround and offered 4 pieces of angle. We went straight back to the office and spoke to a staff member and explain our frustration, only to be told that “this is all they can do to help fix the problem “. This is totally unacceptable. We asked them to send someone out to dismantle the shed and give us a FULL refund. We are out of pocket the money we had to pay to get the shed partially assembled. The customer service is very disappointing.

A+++ service from Callum – Have received my shed delivery today by Callum. Cannot speak highly enough about the level of service Callum provided. He went above and beyond to help get all my shed components where they needed to go, which he didn’t have to do but offered out of his own kindness, and did it all whilst having a good chat and laugh.
