that was sorted, plans approved we were onto our next journey of building. Building started Jan 2023, Andrew kept us in the loop the hole process of our build (there were no bad surprises at all). Any concerns or questions we had Andrew put them to rest. They have a great bunch of trades working for them that we found to be friendly and obliging. We did not have any major issues which was a huge relief as we have never built before. We have just recently had hand over of our beautiful home that is nestled in a very lovely quite country town. Our whole experience with Andrew and Ally from Stroud Casey has been very enjoyable and exciting. We have found both of them very friendly, helpful, supportive and professional. We have no hesitation in recommending them to fulfil your dreams of building your beautiful home.

All key stages of the build were signed off without issue, the build quality from all the trades involved is simply fantastic - can’t fault it one bit. The build as a whole was completed well before the scheduled completion date and there was not one hidden or additional cost incurred.
Most of the other builders we contacted at the beginning of our home building journey either didn’t reply or simply weren’t interested in our build – we couldn’t be happier that we found and built with Stroud Homes Casey.

Personal approach and touches throughout – We worked with the team at Stroud Casey to make our design ideas for a custom build, on a supremely narrow block, come to life! This was incredibly reassuring for our family, who had two little ones to manage amongst the busyness and stress of building a home. A highlight for us was being invited by Andrew to a handprint ceremony, the day our slab was poured. Our children show everyone who comes to our home their handprints with excitement! for us. The years and years of building experience coupled with the fact that both owners are so hands on with their builds put any doubt in my mind at ease.
We threw things at them that we wanted in our house that all the other builders declined to do, and they did them all to perfection. Floor to ceiling stone fireplace, raked ceilings, intricate panelling throughout and even a secret door (bookshelf) that leads to our cinema room.
The owners of Stroud Homes Casey went above and beyond on so many occasions it’s hard to keep track of. From countless phone calls and updates, to cutting their holiday short by a day to sign contracts to meet deadlines. Even with our fireplace they were incredible. It wasn’t enough for them to do a simple wooden mantelpiece for it, so they sourced a 240 year old piece of Oregan that was part of the original Melbourne Mint, so that we had a talking point in our lounge room.
The quality of the build itself is incredible, and is equalled only by the efficiency in which it was built. Other builders and homeowners on our street have continuously mentioned to us how fast and efficiently our home went up. The site manager next door literally said to me last week he has never seen a site run so smoothly, and to be so clean throughout.
In closing this house is everything we hoped for and more. Not only have we got the perfect house but along the way we also picked up 2 lifelong mates. We will forever be grateful to both of Stroud Homes Casey’s owners.
If anyone is building in the area and looking at Stroud Homes Casey as a builder, I urge you to sit down and have a coffee with them. Like us, it’ll be the best decision you’ll ever make.

high quality of the build. The personal touches like the beautiful mantal piece sourced for us, the stunning stone fireplace and our secret bookcase door to the movie room were all things that many builders wouldn’t have been able to do in our budget, if at all! But Stroud Casey were more than happy to help us achieve everything we wanted in a home. We feel we were very lucky to have found them!

Definitely recommended to use Stroud Homes Casey to build your home with quality workmanship, approachable team and fast in handling issues. Both my husband and I are very happy with the quality of the house. Final cost was $15,000 more than estimated cost, but this is caused by Council regulation issues. made us feel like part of the family. They helped us select a plan that was within our budget. They were very helpful and honest with plan changes and upgrades to the home. We had to wait a long time for our land to title and we never felt pressured or rushed during this process. Once the build began we were in constant communication, almost daily right up until the end of the build. We had some small issues along the way, as you often do, these were dealt with promptly and with no complaints. The end product is amazing, we have managed to achieve our dream home. essentially stress-free and efficient (around 6 months) as well. We were quite happy with the workmanship.
Cost-wise it was more expensive than project builders, but I thought it was well worth it given how beautiful the house ended up to be and how flexible they were with us. We also got some free upgrades, which I thought was very sweet of them.
The only issue was inconsistent communications within the team - we were told incorrect information about an upgrade by the admin (who no longer works there) and ended up paying an extra couple of grands unnecessarily.
Lastly, would we build with Stroud Homes Casey again if we had a chance? Yes, absolutely.

displayed in the window, they looked like what we were looking for so I stepped inside, and that is when I met Caleb. From then we had various blocks to look at and things went backwards and forwards while we tried to find the perfect block. Finally on a wet Saturday morning Caleb met us with umbrellas on our Wet & Muddy block. And our Official Journey with Stroud Homes started.
There were a great deal of delays with getting our land to finally title, and from the minute that happened it was "Action stations". The building team & trades kicked into gear and our build started.
We were kept informed at every step, were even able to be on-site with our familiy to watch the concrete pour of our slab, and have been involved in every single exciting step along the 6month journey.
From the initail plan changes, to the quoting and final build contract it has been an absolute pleasure to work with Caleb and his team.
The colour consult was seamless, and easy to do. The standard inclusions in the house are a step above standard inclusions offered by many other builders. The quality of the finishes in our home is outstanding.
All the trades that worked on our property were outstanding and professional all the way through the build.
We have only been in our house for about 3 weeks now, and we still have heaps of boxes everywhere with a "muddy" garden to do lots of work in, but it "Feels Like Home".
This is our dream home, and it was made possible by the team at Stroud Homes Casey. We would have no hesitation in recommending them to any of our family & friends.
