Replacing old fluorescent tubes – Old fluoro tubes replaced with LED battens in a church hall with 5m ceiling. Another consultant suggested hiring a scissor lift. SunLED consultant understood our needs and SunLED’s contractor (Speedy Sparkey) safely used a large stepladder saving us several hundred dollars. Excellent service - Thank you.
Fantastic service all round – It has been a pleasure dealing with SunLED Energy from sales to the completion of the installation. The salesman fully explained the offer and the process . The electricians arrived a few days later with their own scissor lift platform, removed and replaced the high bay lights and all of the surface mount and troffer fluorescent light fittings. No mess great job.

he needed to do, completed the install and tidied up after himself. He then left, with the "electrician" to carry out the electrical connection later in the day. The electrician arrived and needed to install a weatherproof isolator switch at the heater unit, using the existing storage heater cabling and RCD. I'll let the pictures speak for the quality of the installation......
The electrician then left, saying that the heater was commissioned and that there would be a full tank of water within 2 hours..... he left no documentation, invoice, receipt, O&M booklet, nothing.
When I tested the water service several hours later, it was cold. Upon inspection, they had de-energized the RCD in the consumer unit and not powered the heater up prior to leaving the property. So much for commissioning the unit with setting times, temperature etc. I then inspected the installation more carefully and found unplugged entries (so...not weatherproof IP54) in the isolator switch, bare exposed copper, nicks in the insulation etc etc.
The electrician also did not change the supply feeding the new heat pump from the controlled load side of the energy supply meter, meaning that, even if the RCD had been switched on, the heater would only work on controlled load timing (so at night, when I'm not producing any solar generated power)!
After several phone calls to SunLed, the "electrician" came out the following day (leaving us to sort out hot water requirements) to rectify they major safety issues he had left, as well as the non functioning hot water unit. Only, this time, prior to leaving, the electrician left the Solar inverter breaker in the off position. This was not noticed until my electricity bill indicated that I had not been feeding in any power to the grid for several days. Whether this was done purposely out of spite for the criticism he received from me or not, who knows........

No consideration for the environment – The LED lights SLED PL88-24 cannot be repaired. It would be very simple to remove and replace the LED strip, but the part is not available. Instead you have to buy the whole unit and throw the old one into land fill.

Great job, Effecient; Result Very pleased – From the first approach I was impressed.Very effecient, good contact; completed with 5 days. No problem with the fittings left as the local scap dealer accepted them , we threw the plactic bits left over in the bin. The installers took away the tubes and the cartons to recyclers locally.
Quick and efficient – the only thing is they are unable to take the casings away. This is the normal ruling but should be changed as the owner of the premises is 88 years old and had to recruit to have the rubbish away.
