I was using Motul but changed to Castrol recently and it made absolutely no difference at all.

Is the hyabusa classed as a sports touring bike?

More sports than touring however does both roles well. I have fitted bar risers, heated hand grips & a pannier luggage system which helps with the touring side. I also always have a pillion on board & the bike still allows me to ride it like a sports bike just not quite as nimble.

I have just bought a Hayabusa 2005 with 400 miles on the clock I bought it out of a collection there isn’t a mark on it I have read a lot of reviews all good but is there a downside with the bike .

Yes, trying to keep your licence & not get caught speeding. Apart from that I often read about the fuel filter clogging up from dirty fuel causing loss of power. Can be a few hundred to repair. Also 6th gear on the 2nd gen can be pain in the neck with it not slotting into gear properly. Not sure if 1st gen has same gear issue.

Does its exhaust sounds loudly? Like yamaha yzf r1

The standard exhaust is relatively quiet. Most Hayabusa's have aftermarket Yoshimura etc.. exhausts which can be very loud, much deeper noise than YZFR1, generally.
