I would like to thank Nocole (service department) for being so rude today 16/1/2026. I was prepared to pay for a service call or even a new blind, but after her awful attitude I was determined to either repair the blind myself or shop elsewhere (which I did). Thanks again Nicole, you saved me a lot of money.
Follow-up · The winder/gearbox had seized and since the blind is about 3 metres wide, it is a two man job to remove. Nicole's unhelpful attitude made me determined to buy a new winder (not from Sydney Blinds) and install it myself. A simple and inexpensive repair.

existing curtains. Fitout took about an hour or so n was seamless. The blinds look great n more importantly keep my apartment cooler than it was, with the sun streaming in the very large balcony doors. The fitter was great n took his time to make sure the blinds looked great n explained how the blinds are best to be level for both so that one doesn’t get looser than the other. Payment was seamless as well.

Don't Do It – One star is far too high a rating. Rang in early February to confirm whether they sold Invisigard doors. Confirmed. Then in mid February requested a measure and quote through the enquiry form on their website for an Invisigard door. the appointment. So with the appointment booked in told my husband that Sydney Blinds was coming to do a measure and quote for an Invisigard door. Unknown to us the lady that rang me deliberately ticked another home brand security door. (The staff there are probably paid a commission for promoting their in house products, just like the person doing the quote. )This person would earn more commission on an in house product than another company's product. Installation day came and this is when we found out the above and had a door installed that was not Invisigard. As soon as I came home from work and looked at the door, I knew it wasn't a genuine Invisigard door. I called the company and I was told that we had ordered their inhouse brand door. I requested that they retrieve the call, to confirm what I was saying and I was told that the system hasn't"been working for a while." Convenient that both the call can't be retrieved yet whilst on hold, they are telling customers that are calls are recorded for training and quality purposes. (Deceptive and misleading????)Or this is a strategy they tell their customers so the call won't be retrieved? Is their conduct deceptive and misleading, the ACCC will need to decide. So I texted the rep, sent photos of the rubbish quality of the installation and the door. The door is not worth more than $150-$200. Yet we were charged $1350 for what we ordered which was an Invisigard door, THAT WE HAD REQUESTED. The rep then sent me a text message that he had passed my complaint to his manager. No call from the manager, I actually don't expect a call, but tonight I lodged a complaint through Fair Trading and I will pursue it to NCAT. They will need to retrieve the phone call and the email through the website. For your own reference look at the shoddy workmanship of the photos. If this company thinks that this is ok, it isn't. Your subbie, won't be coming back, their work is substandard and reflects poorly on the company. See you at NCAT!

Roller blinds that are super stylish – Had a double roller blind installed in 3 rooms - one for blockout in the evening and a sheer one for during the day that allows you to see out but maintain privacy as no one can see in. One unexpected benefit - I have more room in one of the rooms the blinds were installed. Its a smaller room that had vertical blinds installed, so to open the verticals, you have to have furniture pulled out away from the blinds so that they can swivel. The roller blinds have allowed me to move my furniture closer to the windows and therefore more space in more room - brilliant. For a small room that needed extra space, this has been a welcome benefit.
Sales staff and fitters were great - came when they said they'd be here, and completed and installed our blinds earlier than expected. Highly recommend them.

After accepting the quote which was quite reasonably priced, I was advised that it would be about three to four weeks. 2 weeks later, I got a call to book in a date for installation. By the third week, the new security door and blinds were ready and I received a follow up SMS to confirm a time for installation. The installer was also very friendly and arrived within the specified time which is a refreshing change! He made short work of the installation with the blinds and security door installed in around 45 minutes. All in all, I was very impressed with the service I received from Sydney Blinds. Don't use Sydney Blinds and Curtains EVER!! – TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE. I waited for half a day and at the time the guy was supposed to arrive, the office rang and said sorry he can't make it. Cancellation policy – On 23/10 I placed an order for some window coverings . At 9.05 am on the 26/10 I cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances. It has taken 4 days short of a month to have confirmed after I requested a review of their policy to find that the company is keeping 25% of the deposit for doing nothing and being inconvenienced ZERO !
