they are extremely helpful and i would say they are even better than bunnings, they got pretty much every tool in the book for a DIY. Appreciate the team for getting everything ready, didn't waste a second in the store. gave me a deal as well. Show details · 1
Beware price at checkout – Brookvale Sydney tools don’t honour their shelf price tags. When buying a tool, the price that appeared on the eftpos machine was dearer than the shelf price tag. When I advised the clerk he told me ‘yeah, the shelf price tags are wrong, this is the right price.’ I asked if they honour their own prices? He said ‘nah we don’t’. It’s not the… Read more
price that really matters, it’s only a few bucks, it’s the attitude. There are many tool shops in Brookvale, I will now move my business elsewhere and share my experience.
LOOK FOR MITCHELL OF SYDNEY TOOLS – I bought over $2000 of gardening tools from Sydney Tools Brookvale. They promptly replaced the lawnmower when I returned it unused, possibly damaged in shipping. Good Service. After I left the shop, and unpacked the unsealed replacement box, i found another part was missing- the blower extension. I made 3 phone calls, first 2 calls, received… Read more · 1
promises but no action. On my third call almost end of day, I spoke to Mitchell. He was very helpful - A legend. Mitchell called me within minutes when he found the missing part in their store. Sydney Tools could do very well with Mitchell' s attitude . Great service.

Excellent product knowledge – Saw a rep by the name edan, very helpful. Great product knowledge. Took the time to explain in detail my problem solutions and advised on the perfect item for my complicated enquiry. Made me laugh too, a good egg that one. Thanks Show reply
Ordered Ego and was sent Milwaukee – I ordered an Ego blower at Brookvale Sydney Tools. Brookvale Sydney Tools did not have the blower in stock and was to send it out. Opened the package and I thought it was incorrect when I saw the top of a red box. It was Milwaukee. As I didn’t want to void a Milwaukee warranty, I contacted Sydney Tools. I was told that they didn’t have a Ego… Read more
box. Most brand new items come in unopened boxes. A opened box usually indicates a demo or shelf model which are usually cheaper.
I should have been told about the item before it was delivered
Outstanding Customer Service – My praise for Mark & his team at Sydney Tools Brookvale, outstanding service & knowledge of their products. Poor Service and unacceptable Business Policy – I purchased a Bahco S140T Socket from Sydney Tools using their Online and delivery system. I'm currently recovering from a torn calf muscle injury and am trying to minimise my activity on doctor's advice. Well my item arrived nice and quickly, which was great but upon opening I found that the Sockets would NOT stay retained in the ratchet handle… Read more
and just fell out! Close inspection found that the factory appeared not to have installed the retaining spring in the handle. A simple problem but rendered the whole socket set useless!! I promptly called Sydney Tools Brookvale, as the enclosed invoice identified as the store supplier, within 1/2 hour and explained the situation. I stated this was a DEFECTIVE item upon delivery or DOA and not a fault after use etc. I was gobsmacked and shocked when they said the ONLY rectification was for me, at my inconvenience and additional expense was to either mail it back or go a Sydney Tools store and sort it out there!!! So I did go to Sydney Tools Brookvale, at my pain and expense to replace it and to CONFIRM situation. While apologetic, they simply blamed "head-office" and that is how they DO BUSINESS! - so bad luck if you get a defective good delivered as you, the customer are treated with contempt and it is at your expense and inconvenience to to get it rectified. A serious indictment of their Business.

Support of Italco Welder – Had a problem with an Italco 180 welder. Took it to Sydney Tools to get a repair quote and was told that spare parts are no longer available. The welder has only been used a few times. Firstly, be careful to check any advice given by Sydney Tools sales staff and secondly stick to well known brand names, not brands that have misleading labels,… Read more
ie; the Italco welder has the Italian flag on it (giving the impression that it's made in Italy), but it's just another çheap product from China, with no after sales support.

Warranty takes months- no replacement offered – Typhoon pressure washer- needed part replacement, store should have been able to replace part (hose and gun) but needed to be “sent away” now 5 weeks, still no word on when it will be returned. Guarantee if I returned a faulty product to Bunnings- they’d have taken a new one off the shelf and replaced it immediately. Email sent to complaints a… Read more
week ago- still no reply. Store has no answers.
Sorry Sydney tools head office- you’ve taken the power away from the store to keep the customer happy. Typhoon is your own brand, have some parts on hand since they appear to be poor quality, clearly as there’s a massive backlog of them in for warranty repairs.
Replace our product, or offer us a refund. But this is the 2nd time it’s been in for warranty repairs that has taken more than a month. (When first purchased it wouldn’t start at all, had to wait for ages then too). I’m not a fan of this process Sydney tools and it will affect my choice of store to purchase from in future, Sydney tools will be bottom choice unfortunately. Meanwhile- gotta hire a pressure cleaner as despite purchasing one- I still don’t have it!

Promises not kept – All sorts of false promises made about the availability about a De Walt nail gun to coincide with the arrival of decking timber at my home. I paid for the darn thing in full by Credit Card on the back of these assurances. Only after I chased these cowboys did they confirm that I wouldn’t be getting the equipment until the end of the month at… Read more
least. “Back-order, blah, blah.” What a joke! Not even a hint of such delays when I handed over my money. Actually, it’s not a joke. It’s just plain misleading and deceitful conduct. To make matters worse, they claim a full refund will take a few weeks to appear in my bank account. A short piece of advice. Don’t patronise these people. Find another tool supplier that honours its promises and respects a consumer’s rights.
Awesome Service and advice – In store and spoke with Mark Davies about an air compressor. He knew exactly what I was after and my air requirements. He also gave me realistic expectations on portable units versus commercial. Definitely recommend them again.

Big spend up – I had to purchase a new vacuum for work that could cope with all on site duties along with concrete grinding dust and fine timber / mdf dust along with usual wet/dry vac duties.
