what Sydney Tools instructed me to do. For some reason, Aus Post could not find the store and sent it to the Dulwich Hill post office. And that is where it now sits. I gave Sydney Tools formal authority to collect it. Sydney Tools has made no effort to retrieve it. I have ordered a charge-back on my credit card. Avoid these guys.

Good service – I have ordered twice from Dulwich hill, first order was fast, second was a bit slower.. Harrison was great to deal with personally. Knows his stuff.

PLEASE DO NOT BUY OFF SYDNEY TOOLS – terrible, sent wrong equipment constantly ignored emails and phone conversations and did not replace the incorrect stuff they sent, Total tools will match & beat Sydney tools, they will give you the service if something is wrong- do not use sydney tools they will steal your money and not supply the goods you order. absolute criminals

Xtorque Drill Bit poor quality and poor customer service – I checked to see Alexandria had the item in stock and only to get there and find there are none in stock. Dulwich Hill has some so off I go and buy my drill bit only to find out when I get home that is is defective, one cutting edge has bits out of it. Tools contact me, I send them photos, they say "it looks used", we will replace but you have to come in if you want it quickly.

"It looks used", I hate this when they make you feel like the problem, it was not used, they are just rubbish drill bits (and there is another recent review saying the same about the same drill bits)

I go in and ask for a refund because I am so annoyed with their attitude but they don't do Credit Card refunds or cash refunds because "it is against the law". Eh? What is this all about? They only do direct deposits to Bank Accounts that might take a few days.

I get annoyed, in the end they give me a Sutton brand drill bit and I leave. What a waste of my time to get one lousy drill bit.

Xtorque Quality on the drill I got is crap, they claim to be a miracle drill bit.

I think you are better off buying some Chinese bits off eBay, cheaper and saves money for the same or better quality.

I just don't think Sydney Tools understand the time one wastes in a situation like this.

Friendly and efficient service – I wanted to buy a gift card for my son who actually lives in Dulwich Hill, while we live in Adelaide. Rang to arrange it and within a couple of days it was all fixed, paid by Visa and then Justin sent me a photo of the card in case it doesn't arrive in time for the birthday next weekend, when our son will be visiting us. Love this store,.definately my favourite in Sydney – Bought a DeWalt thicknesser online, despite thinking it would take 24 hours it was ready the same day. Had Harrison help load it into my car, the guy definately knew his tools and was super helpful..recommend this place highly. Show details

tools and start using them, you realise there are other things you need, so Robert is back on the job and has been researching track guides, portable work benches, clamps and a vise! While I'm pretty good on chasing info via Dr Google, there is nothing like solid advice from someone who knows tools backwards and doesn't spin me a bunch of marketing crap!

Financial Year (busy!) and after a short wait was helped by Robert, who patiently took me through all of my options showing me the skins, answering questions and working out the best way to give me bang for my buck! He spent 30 minutes on the floor with me that day, and another 15 minutes next day via email adjusting the order and improving the pricing on my $5K basket of goods, which is a large ticket for me as I'm not a tradie but just kitting myself out pre-retirement. I'm now taking a few days to think on the order but have to say I was so impressed with the time Robert gave me, his patience and obvious knowledge of their stock, I'll probably return to complete the transaction. As a contrast I went to Bunnings straight after to see if they could improve the pricing. As much as I love my local Ashfield Bunnings staff, I went to the Kingsgrove store because they have a much larger power tools section. Arrived around 2pm and found it very difficult to get the attention of staff in the power tools section. When I did manage to ask my first question (about batteries), the staff member gave me a perfunctory response, nodded towards the batteries display and then turned her back on me to continue her conversation with another staff member. Didn't seem interested so I walked out. What a difference between the shops!

Item as described via shop visit and cash purchase – Ordered some 3M respirator for work in times of pandemic shortages. Make a cash purchase , said ready on Monday, and they'll call. They had called on Monday, pickup on Tuesday. Easy transaction, no issues what so ever, and Item as described. However, the reason for 4 star is that i suspect they repackaged it to make an extra buck in times of shortage, that is they repackaged the 10 masks per pack into 2 masks per pack. Show details ·  1
