Shocking attitude, never call back as they say they will. Had a warranty claim and they think it’s acceptable that you just wait for 6 weeks for it to be checked, I used it for 10 minutes, now I have to wait 6 weeks on what basis. And they are all just rude about it. Show details

another they refused saying if I had dropped it in water they would loose money if they did swap or refund it so they said a 4 week repair time leaving me to hire one out of pocket for me, and try to blow me off to United tools saying it would be a quicker repair time then themselves. I thought no I purchased it from Sydney tools they can get it repaired 2-3 weeks later they rang to pick up the repaired grinder an armature replacement was what the so called repair was done, a week later I needed to use the grinder same problem tripping the customers fuse box, I thought this is a joke I returned to Sydney tools today to get a replacement or refund they once again refused saying this time because of Xmas it will be an 8-12 week repair time as in this time my 12 month warranty will run out as I purchased on 21st Jan 21 never will I purchase a thing from them or purchase a makita tool again as I've tried calling makita Australia to complain only to say I'm ringing out of office hours absolute joke!!!

she was then told no battery would be better, you don’t need to worry about oil and fuel, it would cut our lawn no drama’s, a particular staff member even said it cuts his lawn the same size as ours with no drama, a member of the staff even offered to mow our lawns for the rest of the year or return it within 30 days if we weren’t satisfied with it.

I’ve used it today for the first time ( 11-12-2021 ) and the mower was unable to cut our front lawn without running out of battery. ( both battery’s fully charged FYI )

Upon ringing them for an exchange today 11-12-2021 they told us there’s nothing they could do to help, and that she should of known it would only last 30mins, or for us to buy more battery’s ( valued at $150 each ). According to their refund policy if a product has been opened or used even once it can not be returned, even though she was Cleary told she could do if she was not happy with the product.

The staff at Sydney Tools totally took advantage of my partners trust, and offered to go above and beyond to supply or replace a mower that she wanted to buy as a Christmas present. They lied and took advantage of my partners trust in order to sell a product. Now we’re currently left with a $700 mower we don’t want, and are unable to return it, even though it’s been used once for 30mins MAX!!! I would not recommend this store, as their ignorance and lack of care to their customers is appalling. They will tell and sell you anything to get the sale, but refuse to budge when you’re unhappy or deem the item unsatisfactory with your expectation's.

Great shop, top prices & employees are awesome – Awesome for me, rang up and got straight on the phone to Damian. Bloke was a legend helped me out with exactly what I needed and had plenty of advice on other products. spoke to a few dealers for prices on what I was looking for then came back and spoke to Damo as always. Needed a Milwaukee brushless kit as the old Makita kit needs an upgrade. Top bloke gave me a run down on a new hawg drill, perfect for what I do for work & picked up a wicked deal!

Couldn’t be happier with the service and it’s got a 5 year warranty.

July 30th 2018 Update: Awesome shop & the boys know their stuff

I recently purchased a new Milwaukee kit from Sydney Tools Penrith. I’ve been running the same brand of tools for years. Not being satisfied with the performance of my drills I visited the boys at Sydney Tools. Damien could not of been more helpful. Once he had a thorough understanding of the daily performance I needed out of my tools he hooked me up with a Milwaukee kit with a 5 year warranty.

Sydney Tools was the most competitive on price and gave me a great service.

Moving forward all my future dealing will be with Sydney Tools Penrith.

The staff are helpful and a wealth of knowledge.

When ever attending this shop i struggle to keep to my budget.

Took in an amazing offer from gaswelds for a unimig viper mig welder kit. Not only did the boys come to the party but beat the price with out compremise on quality saved me almost an additional $100 on top of the special offer from gasweld. Great end to end service at a really great price.

Awesome service and great value – Was looking for a good priced pipe bender for a few months. Glad I stumbled across this one. Good price and excellent service. Was able to pick-up the next day. Have used it to bend 16mm Reo bar, it bent it like butter. It will help me to make the bends in the pipes I need without any problems I believe. Useless in house Customer service systems from head office that doesn’t help the customer or support the staff – Purchase was double scanned but no one in the store was authorized to organize a credit; headoffice is taking the good sweet time to process the refund which should have happened at the point of sale. asked the staff member that had been helpline me if I could purchase the larger battery they had new in the box in stock and pay the $40 price difference, he agreed that would be ok ! He then went to check with the same manager who had said no to a new battery and said I had to take it with the second hand battery, what didn’t I understand !!! I will be taking my $600 elsewhere. I just wish I’d come here first for the reviews before waisting my time shopping at sydneytools.
