That order triggered need for scanned id - so I provided my driver license with covered/obscured id number/date of birth (seller required that, though payment was via paypal). As well as utility bill. That worked and I’ve been promised that id image will be removed upon order completion. I’ve been pushed also to purchase shipping insurance (~2% of declared value). That might be no-go for the ones who do not want to share any personal info - though I believe it is reasonable seller protection for expensive order (I am selling expensive gear on ebay myself occasionally and know how bad it could be with international buyers) Communication was great and camera also came in 5 days. Avoid! They tried to harvest more and more personal information from me! – Avoid at all cost! This company keeps asking you for more and more personal information. my address - the same address as the shipping address on my order; and the same address as my Paypal address which they have access to. Then they emailed me again, this time wanting my company email and a copy of my Staff ID. I emailed them on my company email to tell them that they cannot have my Staff ID. They either ship me the phones or refund me the money. They did neither; went silence for a day then said they need more time for "checking and reviewing the order". After waiting another day with no reply, I filed a dispute with Paypal to recover my money. (My order no is 300014270.)

CARD,DRIVERS LICENSE, PASSPORT, VERIFIED PAYPAL account, Government letters with address from which product will be deliverer PHONE BILLS stating address and A WORK EMAIL ADDRESS

After seeing $4k taken out of my credit card and them refusing to accept none government letters with a address stated on it, i was told to provide more information for a period of 7 days.. you can understand the dilemma and frustration, when asked.. can you pay by bank account and we will refund the 4k credit to your card.

I understand that they are protecting themselves from fraudulent claims so maybe its best to pay via bank account. My experience camera arrive as stated and i am happy. Good luck Stay safe!

and they used my $2,800.00 for 3 weeks. The request of these people for sensitive documents seems to induce the buyer to cancel the order. When an order is canceled, they delay refunds as much as possible and seem to use the money for their profit or temporarily cover their lack of funds. In their email, note the phrase, don't worry, don't open a case in PayPal, PayPal case will delay the refund process. Their cunning and dirty business was planned from the beginning like this.

Asked for my identity documents – Paid via PayPal. They contacted me via email hours later asking me to email them my identity documents. I am now going through the refund process.

Unexpectedly low prices with high service – I was really surprised that I received an absolutely new Canon EF 85mm 1.4 L lens for the price close to the used ones. As it is said here they ask you to proof the delivery address but then I realised why: the delivery company was not able to deliver from the first time saying that they could not locate the address. Avoid, return policy is a joke – Lens I ordered arrived 1 week later than expected. I would need to pay £126 to return it (£69 - 10% restocking fee + £57 - Postage and handling charge). Joke. Stick to Amazon.

warned that sending this information overseas is extremely risky and there is no way you can be assured it will not end up in the wrong hands and your identity stolen.

If you sent a copy of these documents it’s a good idea to report to the police. That’s what I have been advised and getting a new driver license number is impossible in Australia.

over a week later, they still haven't sent anything, and are still trying to extract bizarre information with reasons that are sheer nonsense. "Validating address", "Internal checks" or "further reference". This makes absolutely no sense.

After I refused to send a Staff ID, they refunded my money.

AVOID. Waste of time and a clear security risk.
