Normally love going to browse around the Altona store but the customer service at the register has recently become intolerable. I now only purchase if I have to because I don’t want to wait 15 minutes for the privilege. Call someone sooner if more than 3 waiting, it’s just not good enough specially if we can go online and have it delivered.
Worst ever shop I’ve been to, none of the clothes suited and they looked like it was made for 60-70 year olds & you call it fashion?? I could buy a similar & better style at SHEIN..

match with outfits. The grey ones had faux diamonds on them, I wasn't a fan but I believed I could get them off easily. This wasn't the problem. Overall the gloves where awful quality. Some of the diamonds are glued on backwards, the finger tips of the white gloves don't match, the tips of the fingers flare like duck feet, the stitching between the fingers are questionable, and some of the threads are coming lose. After reading their return policy I know they won't accept the return, as I have already taken them out of the packaging. This situation may be partially my fault as I didn't check the quality of the product before I purchased it.

Wooden cutting boards – I purchased 2 wooden cutting boards, I love wooden cutting boards, the boards are made in India. I tried to contact tkmaxx, but their "whatever it is", say my email is not legitimate. yesterday(13/12/2019) at around 6.20pm expecting a refund and any money I can claim for the cost incurred, spoke to the manageress who is the rudest person I have ever dealt with. She didn't even apologise ,didn't even look at my face, her exact words were " we cannot just give money to people" . Is she out of her nuts??? Can't she see how badly the trouser have ripped?? I don't need any money back but a manager is a person who can handle issues in a professional manner but this was something unexpected(she shouldn't be in that position, she didn't even care about the hard time I have gone through just because of this pants. Sales staff was more professional) It has wasted my time, energy and money and most of all the hassle I went through. stock making it pot luck to wether you get it or not. Why is this so?? Why make it that annoying?? I drove all over Adelaide to all 5 stores and didnt get a single thing that I wanted or wished for. I did however pick up other things... and I do love them, just would have loved what I wanted even more. Some stores had great stock and other stores were very under whelming with bearly anything. Cashier staff were incredible with trying to get customers through quickly with busy big lines forming. Just confused as to why no store is the same with having stock and more then 1 or 2 of the same thing?? I feel TK Maxx would make a motsa if they really bulked up on stock... and at every single store and maybe even an online option also?? I just cant seem to get my head around why??

So we have physical shoppers offering and looking for items for other people who are wanting certain items scattered in all states and posting items to eachother. informed him that the larger bottles of the same brand and design were also priced at $15, so the smaller bottle should be cheaper. He asked her to bring a larger bottle for comparison.
When she returned with the larger bottle, he had already printed and applied a new label showing $17 for the smaller bottle. When she questioned this, he insisted and then offered to reduce the price to $14.50, without addressing her concern. Throughout the interaction, he was dismissive and rude, despite being polite to other customers.
She found his behaviour unprofessional and felt unfairly treated. This experience has left her reluctant to shop at TK Maxx Churchill if this staff member is present again.
Shampoos and conditioners are insanely good and priced really well – Honestly there's only two things I like in this store the hair washing range and the snacks/teas and spices aisle. The snack foods and other stuff are pretty good too, their range of teas is really amazing and good prices all round in that section as well.
My biggest issue is with their stock levels and stock in general, the shampoos I got were available one time and then never again, I hope these ones don't follow the same pattern but honestly I think they will. Same goes with their turmeric powder and such very rarely can I actually find it.
I have mentioned this to them on their Facebook and I'll go check it to be 100% sure, but I don't believe I ever got a reply and that's annoying.
If they could stock the same stuff more often I'd be really happy with them, but for whatever reason it seems they just want to bring out new stuff instead of keeping old stuff. I'd buy the products elsewhere if the price difference wasn't so astronomical.
I'm otherwise happy with them and so incredibly happy with my hair that that alone deserves 5 stars for truly quality products. At least until I run out, if my products are unavailable when the time comes then I'll be really quiet angry. But until then 5 stars all the way!
Good pickings - take your time – I drop in mainly to check out the clothes on offer. I have bought many clothing items now from this store. I pick through the racks of clothes - there are alot of dresses, shirts, pants, tops available to choose from. better quality/looking smaller outfits. They sometimes have great brands eg Tiger Lilly swimsuits were in last week so you just have to be prepared to spend some time looking. In saying that though the store is very well set out and you can easily see what is available.
There are clothes I wouldn't wear but every now and again there are some very good gems such as Italian made coat that I found that I will have forever - I get comments on constantly. I have also purchased some brilliant shirts and tops that you don't find in stores around Melbourne so much - seem to be overseas brands, quite a bit of American, so I don't feel I'm wearing the same as everyone else.
I have been very tempted by some of their furniture that has been on display - this changes very often so if you see something you love grab it. I have bought great hangers from here (again American) that have saved me massive amounts of space in my wardrobe, so I drop in quite often to see what they have on offer as the stock changes quite quickly.
I have bumped up the work wardrobe with great shirts, tops and pants and have started shopping for summer dresses and I have found a few good bargains with good styling. You need to have the time to drop in reasonably regularly to look around and don't buy just for the sake of it. I've always found the staff very nice - there is no assistance on the floor but that's not what they are about anyway. I have fun rummaging about here. I don't buy for kids or males but there seems alot there for them also. Intimates also look very good and I have bought a few garments for cheap as chips that I wear all the time. I think they are great value.

Went to do some last minute Xmas shopping at West Lakes. Had only been there once or twice before so was looking around to see what they had. I was made to feel very very uncomfortable by a woman following me around, obviously store security but it was so obvious the woman made me feel like a criminal and it was very unpleasant. I don't like how they charge you $1.99 just for sending you your statement, plus they automatically charge you interest when you pay on time or before due date, so just a heads up if you decide to get a card
Took my mum for shopping. In the dressing room the staff kept checking on us rudely infringing our privacy.She even called the security to stand at the entrance .We felt racially targeted. No one should undergo this especially trying to spend their money
Went in to the store in Knox and we were treated very bad. The staff that was at the fitting rooms kept on coming to where we were while my mum was dressing stating that she was doing it as of the policy, not considering that she was invading our privacy. She went on and called the security on us who later followed us around the store, which was very uncomfortable. This made us think that we were being racially targeted.
North Rocks T.K.MAX manager Zoe, did not accept my faulty suitcase to be returned with presenting the docket since I bought it 6 weeks ago & I realized the handle is faulty on my holiday!! never mentioned to me was I returned something the very next day for a refund (after phoning the store ) this is when I was told it can take a week for the refund to be processed and visible on my bank account. I find that very odd considering I’ve returned items to many of the major players like KMart and Big W whom their refunds were instantly refunded into my account. !!

Wonderful – I love tk maxx prices, quality, and choices. My first stop for many things from cushions, bedspread, clothing, lamps. Many lovely items and friendly caring staff. I would love to win a gift card.
Poor quality clothing – Don’t buy at a premium price from an op-shop. The clothes are second hand and not in good repair. The hand bags are ok with few random unbranded stuff to choose from. Overall TKmax is similar to an opshop .

They refunded me the difference but how many people don't notice that they have been over charged? I will be returning later in the week and if the same item is still scanning at the incorrect price I will be lodging a formal complaint with Consumer Affairs.

much I paid. The store was pretty busy with several cashiers open and lots of multiple purchases. The cashier packed the goods into my own bag. But right next to other cashiers who were also packing goods into a bags. When I got home the wallet was missing. I searched my car and then I phoned the store and spoke to a supervisor. They searched the store in case it had dropped out of my bag, but didn't find it. So the manager was contacted and I was immediately offered a refund or replacement - which I was happy to accept.
