The rubber got sucked in while cleaning a few months ago and now it constantly drips. Should I screw it open for deep clean? Also I need the spare rubber bung. Please assist. Thanks
Good morning Apoorva Thank you for your enquiry. The part number you require is 31245001 CHEM52 RUBBER PLUG and they are in stock. You can purchase this through our spare parts website external link We suggest you get a service technician if you wish to take the motor apart. You need to remove the rubber bung for cleaning so that the excess oil from cooking can run out. This should be done on a weekly basis, preferably overnight. Leave a container or cloth to catch any oils. Then put the bung back in. Thank you Technika
Purchased a new build in 2020 with this range hood, constantly cleaning it and still finding grease dripping from motor onto the vents and onto the stove. It’s completely unhygienic and not fit for purpose without being able to fit a drip tray- your staff in the call centre informed me it does not have one. What are people meant to do, not cook? I’m prepared to go to the ombudsman over this as it’s unacceptable- hoping this is a simple misunderstanding and you can assist me

If you have build up that is dripping from the motor you could check the rubber bung is intact and not been pushed in as well. The model doe not have the tray just filters. Hi, after cleaning the rangehood the rubber bung got pulled into the motor. Can it work without the bung. If not where can I purchase those bungs from?

Two of my fan buttons are not working and I have to hold it down for the fans to work. Only the light and level 1 buttons work. Do I have to replace the unit or the fan button switches?

Hi there. I removed the bung for cleaning but when I tried to put it pack in, it slipped all the way in the hole. Will this cause any damage if I leave it? And. Any advice on how to get it out?

Hi Team, I have continuously issue in grease dripping. Even I clenaed the filters also. I have removed the rubber bung for cleaning purpose but the grease are not coming from bung hole and its coming from the sides of the motor box all time. Do you have any video to clean the bung and inside? It's newly installed in my new home from builder.
Hi Rohit, Thank you for your question and I'm sorry to hear of this. There is no video but based on what you have described it is best to do this after use as the build-up oils can drained easier. The best thing to do is wipe down where you can see it. After cleaning if it continues in the next use or within a few days you may need to check the air flow (taking into account the amount if cooking that has been done) Thanks
Im a electrician and the only way is to disconnect it all screw open and clean otherwise the problem will persist design flaw ,these responses are below par and not helpful for anyone if you had any bavk bone youd refund is the equivalent of it when we installed them in new builds to hopefully find a better one on the market
