Is this rangehood suitable for an induction cooktop? I have heard induction cooktops produce a lot of steam so many rangehoods can't cope. I have one of these rangehoods installed already and would like to keep it if it's going to deal with the new induction cooktop I'm having installed. Thank you.

Hi Karen, thank you for reaching out to us. Yes all our rangehoods are suitable for use with induction cooktops. To note the rangehoods are designed to remove cooking fumes and odours not steam, when used with induction turn the rangehood on about 5 minutes before use to assist in starting the air to circulate. The lights on my Technica LOF26A9S rangehood don't come on fully when the button is pushed. They flicker very faintly when the button is pushed suggesting the lamps are ok, but the power delivery is not quite right. Is there a power supply in here that may have failed. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Thanks Ruben. As I am an Electronic Technician I was hoping to be able to sort this myself. Do you have any information about the wiring and location of the 12V power supply for the LEDs. I can only assume the 12V supply must be faulty. Is it a replaceable item? Thanks
