Great customer service, good speeds and reliability, great prices – NBN HFC (connection over former cable TV connection) Reliable connection, any downtime seems to have affected the whole street so wasn’t Telecube. Have gone bankrupt and taken their customers money with them – Telecube has gone bankrupt and simply cut the NBN connection of all of their customers. No refunds are being provided. How this is still legal in Australia in 2018 with no repercussions is beyond me....

Terrible + Will Not Refund 'Credit' Paid Upfront – Started well, fast setup and quick service. Paid 4 months up front via Paypal so my account was in credit. After 1 month the service went downhill like every other review on here. After 2 months I couldn't even play Fifa or watch Netflix between 5pm and 9pm. I was paying for 50MB, Speedtests showed I was getting around 2-10MB during peak times.… Read more

After a 3rd month I'd had enough and noticed the dozens of reviews on this website that started to mention the same thing, 'oversold servers' and 'congestion.'

I moved away to AussieBB and consistently get 90+ MB at anytime of the day or night. Well worth the move for the extra $25 I was paying at Telecube. They cancelled my account before the next billing date after I asked and said the remaining credit would be refunded within 7-21 days.

Low and behold no sign of any refund to me - It's been nearly a month now, they stopped replying to my emails (I've emailed 3 times since the 21 days passed) and no reply. I'd be careful giving any money up front to these guys (I mean the one guy who owns and works here) if you ever want to see it again, ridiculous and will be letting everyone know to steer clear of telecube. Cheating me out of less than $100 is pretty pathetic.

You will never get close to 100 Mbps But – I'm on the (Perth, High Wycombe) FTTN 100/40 and I’ve been speed checking with Ookla http://www.speedtest.net/?test-4 different times throughout the days, I’ve checked at midnight and the average speed you will get is around 44.14Mbps down loads and 30.96 Mbps up loads. These speeds are constant even during peak times except on Friday nights… Read more

where it goes down to 12Mbps to 20Mbps.

44.14Mbps/30.96 sounds low but I download a lot, watch You Tube all the time, download movies from Foxtel and my son is a hard core gamer. We are currently running 6-10 devices at anyone time and it’s fast, I never get lag times with any device and when I downloaded a 1.2gb movie it was less than 10 minutes.

Even on Fridays when it went down to 12Mbps to 20Mbps I didn't get any lag times.

I signed up on the$69 Telecube NBN - 100/40 1TB (Plus Bonus 5TB Offpeak) /Mth No Contract $99 setup fee, the one I found on Ozbargan.

If you have FTTN you don't really need speeds of 100/40 because won't reach those speeds I reckon 50/20 is all you need. The promotion with Telecube only gives you the choice of 100/40 and 25/5 only. The web site https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/323261

You know what really ticks me off in New Zealand their slowest speed plans are 100/20 Mpbs and the highest plan is 950/500 Mpbs. https://myrepublic.net/nz/personal/fibre/pricing/ They are smashing us in the Rugby now in internet speeds

I just downloaded a movie from Foxtel, Dr Strange and The Accountant with Ben Affleck awesome movies.

(Now Defunct) Great Value Broadband ISP with VOIP service, Local, Speedy & Proactive Support When Ne – Recently changed my ISP as the NBN FTTN came to town in PC2800. Initially continued with long term ISP Internode for swap to NBN Broadband on an initial 50/20 speed plan even though I was able to achieve a maximum 100/40 based on my modem's indicated sync / attainable speed (being 465m from the node). I was not able to port our existing PSTN… Read more

phone number with them & chose TeleCube / SipTalk instead.

The setup process was swift & painless & coordinated prior to NBN service swap-over.

TeleCube / SipTalk offer a very secure user account portal to apply for & configure their services.

Service terms are on a prepaid basis with accepted payment being Credit Card (after verification)(Auto Top-ups), BPAY or PAYPAL (all $10 minimum).

I came to realise there was better value to be had with TeleCube / SipTalk based on a (now expired - 31st May 2017) special limited NBN plan offered on the AU Whirlpool Forums with an associated VOIP telephony DID inclusion.

Ultimately I saved $21 per/month for same 500Gb inclusive data (albeit with additional peak-time hourly & daily limits) whilst upgrading the speed tier up to a maximum 100/40.

For telephony their much keener PAYG call rates meant I also saved a motza, rather than my previous minimum $10 monthly spend with set inclusive calls.

Service was provisioned swiftly over a 15 minute period with almost no downtime.

Sweet!

Having spent nearly a week on the internet & telephony services, it has fully met my expectations.

I did however ask they change my VDSL lines stability profile to standard so I can obtain the maximum line speed.

Success!

However, with the world running out of public IPv4 internet addresses, the ISP allocates by default a similar IPv4 shared CGNAT address to that of the majority of the mobile service providers.

UPDATED (21/06/2017):

They now provide a no cost option via user account / NBN service portal to add a static IPv6 address (for those having equipment suitable to take advantage of it), as well as an option for a (single unshared) dynamic public facing IPv4 address.

A static IPv4 address is still an option for a nominal ongoing fee.

Additionally, some minor intermittent routing issues (poor website access) over the last month have been resolved relatively swiftly.

I personally need to access some home IT devices from outside my NBN internet service (IP cameras, modem, PC's, NAS), so I have chosen the free static IPv6 & dynamic IPv4 options as my associated free DynDNS provider (DynV6.com) works seamlessly with both rather than the ISP initially providing a complimentary VPN service which caused some access/ compatibility issues inbound.

Marvellous!

I too look forward to the ISP having a Point Of Presence in Sydney meaning less service latency to my location from the current interstate Melbourne POP.

The perpetual can-do, dynamic & informative attitude from a growing ISP is refreshing & very distinguishable by comparison.

All in all a highly recommended ISP.

*The only two wishes I have is for additional historical NBN usage data, rather than having the current month only, on their user NBN service portal & a PAYPAL Auto Top-Up facility rather than CC alone.

UPDATED (04/08/2017):

My 100/40 FTTN NBN service is now further 'turbocharged' by way of recently being migrated to the closer Sydney NSW POP.

A process that only took 22mins top to toe from emailing support to enacting with only an additional suffix to my existing username.

The backhaul provider is now Wideband & incrementally better in every aspect compared to previous.

This has reduced my services ping latency by 35% to 20ms from 31ms,

Increased download speed 3% from 92Mbps to 95Mbps &

Increased upload speed 20% from 32Mbps to 38Mbps.

All Speedtests are very rapid & smooth in reaching closest server maximums.

IPv6 address is to be migrated in due course.

UPDATED (20/09/2018):

My main NBN & VOIP services remain as per usual, albeit at a slightly higher monthly pricepoint ($6) & a servicing POP out of VIC rather than NSW, under the Siptalk banner after their sister company Telecube went into voluntary receivership earlier this month.

I had to swap my 2nd NBN FW service from Telecube to Siptalk at a much higher monthly pricepoint (by $25) to maintain the service & transfer any unused days (21) for the current month.

The prepaid month ahead of $50 was frozen as an unsecured creditor amount, however I was refunded by PayPal in full for the unsupplied service.

I will likely soon look elsewhere for the 2nd NBN service at a keener ongoing monthly pricepoint.

Really Good Customer Service & Excellent Internet Speed Consitantly – I've been with Telecube for over a year now. Internet is also consistently performing really good. Much better than other BIG name providers I've been with. Highly recommend.

Responsive support, reliable service, excellent prices – I've been with Telecube for a few months on my NBN Fibre to the Node connection at my house. On the couple of occasions I've had to contact support, they've been very quick to respond via email and have helped to solve the issue immediately, even when they've had to deal directly with NBN Co to get something fixed. Speeds are great (well, as good as they can be on FTTN...) and the price is very competitive. I'm on a 50/20Mbps plan.  Show details

increase was $15/month.

It wouldn't surprise me if the original deal was simply just to get customers in the door, with the hope that they would put up with the price increase due to the hassle of switching ISPs twice in a short period of time. At the very best, the company is guilty advertising cheap NBN prices without any understanding of whether or not they could actually provide them.

Bottom line, don't trust Telecube. If their prices seem too good to be true, it's because they are.
