Very poor experience. My Tesla Model Y was returned with a deep scratch on the passenger door, and they are not responding to calls anymore. Lack of responsibility and customer service. Would not recommend. I would have given them minus rating !
Go there at 8am and be prepared to wait forever! Who knows what system they have. Workers cherry pick wha cars they want to work on. Won’t go back. Only reason my car got don was because l wakes up and said why are 8 cars going in before mine??
Had my tyres fitted to New rims I'd purchased , didn't look close until arriving home, found big scratch on one rim (see pic, 2nd pic to verify new), first and last time at Roselands, (couldn't return to complain as wheel was rubbing on caliper after suppling spacers, my fault spacers not big enough, they said fine before driving out.)..

They asked me to wait for one hour however I had to wait for four hours, they kept saying that tyres haven't arrived from warehouse. Show details
Their Google review is misleading, as they only post 5-star ratings; I rated them 1 star and never published it. I visited three times, but now there are a couple of customer service whose attitude is really bad and lack knowledge. The price is not good price anymore, I am not tight ass, I always buy best brands but in dian customer service ruined… Read more
my shopping experiences there, definitely not recommend to family and friends buying tyres from them, it was too long wait just replace tyres, balancing and wheel Allignment, even you came the earliest
Tempe Tyres Penrith recently fitted a set of Bridgestone Dueler AT002 tyres to my Isuzu MUX. I also had a wheel alignment done. Great tyres with no highway noise. Staff very helpful. A very busy site and yes you do have to wait. Suggest leaving car there and coming back after they call you on completion of your job. Show details
Slow. Dirty and rude – Waited 4 hours to have two tyres changed. No stock on site. Stock gets delivered after you order, hence the waiting time. Cars get worked on in the driveway/carpark. Unprofessional and risky. Dirty toilets uncleaned. Not recommend.

Peter S gave me great service. He helped me sort out the wheels by putting them up against my car then worked out a reduced price and booked me in quickly. Everything that was promised in terms of timing and experience came true. If you want tyres and rims Peter will work with you to get the best result. I’ll be back Show details
Zair is always friendly, polite, and reliable. At OB1 Auto Mechanics, Malaga, we can count on him to deliver tyres on time, handle them with care, and make drop-offs quick and hassle-free. Consistently excellent service! Show details
Been there on Two occasions now and both times found staff very friendly. Pre ordered tires were on time and fitted straight away. Saved over $500 by using Tempe tires for exactly the same brand tires compared to another company. Highly recommend for service and price. Well done Tempe tires. Show details

Rude and disrespectful sales attendant “Patrick” at Roselands Tempe. Completely showed no interest, this guy will turn away many customers and needs to seriously change his attitude and attend customer service classes. Tempe Tyres however have an excellent range of tyres at competitive prices and were accommodating with appointment. Would have… Read more
been an otherwise excellent experience barring this unfortunate encounter. Contrary to other reviews, did not wait too long for the job to complete.
Very disappointing experience. After waiting 3 hours to get my tyres fitted (last week), I was disappointed to discover two things; 1. the tyres were not exactly what I had purchased (through their EBAY site). I bought CONTINENTAL ContiSportContact 7’s, but what I got were CONTINENTAL ContiSportContact 7 (MO1)’s 2. and worse, they were very dated… Read more
stock - stamped 0823 and 0923. So these tyres are nearly 3 years on from the date of manufacturing (2 years 9 months to be precise).
When I raised these issues, the responses were not satisfactory or honest.
Regarding the MO1 thing, I was told that eBay was to blame, because they actively remove the MO1 description from any posts. I find this very hard to believe, in fact, I don’t believe it. Other sellers on Ebay use that very description in their posts. They also wanted to tell me the MO1's were the better tyre - they were doing me a favour!
As for the age of the tyres, a staff member and a manager both insisted that the tyres were not ‘old’, and that tyres were well within some '5 year limit' you are legally allowed to sell them. I was also given a lengthy, irrelevant, condescending explanation about how long things take to get shipped to Australia, comments about 'calendar years', and 8 year warranties…The general vibe was, 'you don’t understand how our industry works’. None of it explained why the tyres put on my car were nearly three years old. No-one would acknowledge that this was an issue.
If you're wanting to clear old stock, you have a responsibility to tell people up front, not just hope they either don’t notice and when they do, give them some ridiculous story about how long tyres spend on a ship coming to Australia. It's a waste of everyone's time.
In the end, I was offered two options.
Put my old tyres back on and refund the purchase. Come back tomorrow and get the standard product for $100 more per tyre.
I had already spent 3 hours waiting around to get the tyres installed (I don’t live nearby - arrived at 1:30pm, left at 5pm), so I wasn’t keen to waste another half-day, nor was I willing to spend another $400 (what they insisted I had to pay to get the standard tyres I had ordered.
So I asked about getting my old tyres put back on. When we went and inspected the pile of removed tyres, I was told that mine couldn’t be seen in the pile that was there - probably under others at the bottom of the pile. It was now 5pm and everyone was leaving for the day. I reluctantly decided my best option at this point was to accept that they weren't willing to do anything else for me, and so I went home with my new (old) tyres.
Overall, a very disappointing experience.

I was told twice by Tempe Tyres that the 4 new Toyo tyres would all have manufactured year date 2024. They were all 2023. I was also told 2 hours to wait. It took just over 3 hours. For a few days later, the steering felt slightly different - like a bit to easy to turn. I took it to a service station and checked the air pressure. Front 37 and 38.… Read more
Rear 27 and 40. My manual says 33 on front and 30 on rear, so all were wrong. All cars have different air pressures for tyres and also depending on tyre size and FRD or AWD. So to do it right the tyre fitters would have to look up tyre pressure for each and every car. Anyhow I recommend when buying tyres from Tempe Tyres, you promptly check your new tyre/s air pressure.

me to drive up to either Penrith or Fairfield. During this process they were glad to take the money but didn't at all inform me that the tires "somehow" went out of stock between me ordering and paying. Immediately cancelled the order and demanded a refund. Never using these crooks again.
Know the company and owners since they started in a single tyre service in Tempe NSW. Very professional, honest , friendly and helpful team. Hi purchased 4 brand new tyres from this company though a tyre outlet in Midland WA , after around a month on the road I noticed a bulge shaped bubble on the rear left tyre so I contacted the Midland Tyre outlet who told me to bring the car in for inspection, as I did the tyre fitter came & had a look, took photos of the rear tyre that was bubbled… Read more
out and at the same time we checked the others which seemed to be on their way to bulging outwards as well. The fitter sent the photos off to Frank at Tempe Tyres and in the next couple of days I got a call that they're not going to warrant the tyres. Be wary of where you buy your tyres from ask your tyre outlet were they're coming from, if it's from Tempe Tyres ask them about Tempe's warranty. Never again will I get a set of tyres off this company!
I have a private mobile and work mobile. I always give my work mobile to everyone. After waiting 2hrs for my 2 tyres I gave my private mobile number by accident a hour later I received atleast 2 advertisements. One from pest control and one from energy company. Thanks Tempe tyres for selling my info.
After spending the night in Sydney we discovered a techscrew in our tyre. Hubby insisted we go to Tempe Tyres (TT). 2+hrs later a $20/15min job was finally completed and an additional 2 hours was added to our already 2 hour journey home. We had no control over our mishap i.e. screw in tyre, but we shouldn't have had to wait that long. All it… Read more

I wish I could leave zero stars I called on Friday 14 March to book 2 tyres in for replacement. The fact they did not answer in Penrith should have raised a red flag… it didn’t. for Monday morning. I arrived at the store and handed over my keys at 09.35. I spoke to someone at reception at 10.25 and said that I had been there almost an hour. She apologised and told me that there was a car stuck on the hoist, but my car was next to go in. I noted that there was numerous trolley jacks and at least 8 bays that could hold cars. Numerous other people dropped cars off, cars went into the workshop and mine sat. At 10.55, the car hadn’t moved still and one person who was there when I arrived was paying for their work completed. The ladies from reception had gone outside and an older gentleman with no concept of customer service asked if I had been looked after. I replied no. I had been there almost an hour and a half and needed to return to work. Instead of addressing the problem, he told me that everyone else was waiting was in the same position. As someone who actually provides customer service….. I would have been horrified to have a dozen or so customers waiting for such a long period of time! I mentioned that there was 8 hoists (I should have said bays), and this person pounced on this error and said, “where? I only count 4. Come over here and let me show you how it works”. I declined. I informed this person that I knew how it worked as I have 25 plus years on customer service and he tried to tell me that it’s “different in this industry”. Um no, it isn’t. You make a booking and you stick with the time. It’s not rocket science. If one hoist is stuck, there are 3 others, as well as trolley jacks, and likely bottle jacks and other equipment to safely complete the tasks people were waiting to be done.
Feeling as though this person was trying to intimidate, belittle and scold me for daring to say something, he told me to sit down. He did a double take when I asked for my keys. He then went to get the keys and took a long walk around the boundary of the workshop whilst I rang my husband (the big windows made it very easy to see what he was doing). I may be female and heavily pregnant, but I grew up around and under cars and trucks my entire life and could have changed out several sets of tyres in the time I sat and wasted time.
This person is in no way suitable for customer interaction. I cannot refer to him as a man, or a gentleman as he was certainly not either in his interaction towards me. He was rude, arrogant and confrontational. I have booked in for another place to get tyres done and would sooner pay double than deal with people and a business like this who cannot even admit that there is an issue, much less acknowledge the shortcomings of service or offer any hint of an apology. Absolutely woeful and embarrassing for Tempe Tyres having these sort of people working there. I am seriously considering lodging a complaint with the Human Rights Commission over the treatment I endured as a pregnant woman, and treated like a fool.
It would also be beneficial to have blinds or some sort of sun protection for the many customers waiting around, as the air conditioning was woeful, and the sun put so much heat through to the customer service area. Not that it will be an issue for me ever again.
My husband called to speak with the manager and he was told that I had no idea and that my car was just about to go in when I asked for the keys, and that I claimed there was 8 hoists. So I used the wrong word, but given the experience I had, I would be surprised if anyone else didn’t have the same problem. Given where my keys were located at the back of the workshop, and then collected from, yet again, this is a lie. He was told that they were short staffed, (they had plenty of staff chatting to one another and absolutely no urgency whatsoever with any action being taken). Apparently by 9.30 they didn’t know or think to contact any customer to see if they could reschedule to help their staff, or to let customers know that they were short staffed. Reading the many Google reviews on this business, it may not be an isolated bullying incident by the person.
Was originally told that it would be 20 minutes wait to fit 1 x tyre only. It has now been an hour when I enquired about when it was going to be fitted. I have now been told that the selected tyre is not available & that I have to choose another tyre. This new tyre needs to come from an off site storage facility & means more time. This place is… Read more
absolutely pathetic. It heavily advised to any future customers to avoid this place entirely. Tempe Tyres absolutely sucks. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
I had a frustrating experience at Tempe Tyres. Before purchasing, their customer service assured me that the tyres would be 2024 stock, but when I got home, I found out they were already 18 months old—very disappointing and misleading. To make things worse, it took them two hours just to install four tyres, which is way longer than expected. Poor transparency, slow service, and false assurances—definitely won’t be coming back. Good value but too slow – Good price for the tyres but so slow!! Will go back to my normal place where I am in and out in 30 minutes rather than a painful 2.5 hours at this place.
Split rims desperate – If you need to update the rubber on your split rims and live in Eastern Suburbs, don't bother. Go straight to Tempe or Roselands Tyres. Local repair shops in the East are either unable ('don't have the cage') or unwilling ('staff too young and inexperienced') to do it. Terrible place, will not return – If I could give a lower score I would. when they were done I had scratches all over my wheels especially from the machine. Even after watching the guy do the first one brought it to the manager’s attention that he was scratching and damaging them they then proceeded to do the remaining 3 the same. When confronting them about it once they’re done I was told it’s too late now and if I want they can take they tyres off and I can go somewhere else.
Good value, helpful staff – Good value. Service time reasonable. Helpful staff who gave good explanations. Good choice of tyres. Comfortable waiting area with cafe.
Good experience – Jose and his team were very careful with my newly painted rims, inspecting them before and after fitting tyres.Jose offered some helpful information about correct tyre rotation and wear ratios. Cheers Ian
Defective Tire, claimed we are trying to scam them – They provided my Mechanic with a defective Michelin tyres tire which only lasted 5 months of regular driving. Due to the size I could not bring them back, but documented them with many… Read more
photographs. Tempe Tyres refuses to take responsibility, claiming we are trying to scam them as we don't have the tires. They were quite rude and despite our evidence, they are claiming we are trying to scam them instead of trying to help out and provide a warranty.
Spoiled at payment – Hood price but unfortunately have to give it 1 star. I just signed up for afterpay, unsure how it worked. Said that when i asked to pay via afterpay, had the eftpos terminal shoved at me so tapped my card connected with afterpay, is this how it works???? Apparently not.
If you can't do it just let customer know – Not happy with my wheel alignment. My tyres after one year worn out on the inside after getting a wheel alignment from Tempe tyres. Not cheap when tyres alone cost in an excess of $390 each, If you cant do it please let the customer know in advance. I have pictures taken after driving home from the shop where the tyres are wearing out. Show details
