Love Temple & Webster, have purchased a wide range of items off their site. There was only one item I had an issue with once & their complaints team was quick to respond & offered different options to solve the issue. Excellent, customer service, quick delivery & products as advertised, great value for money.

I recently purchased a large modular sofa set from Temple and Webster. The initial sales experience was OK, and delivery was quick albeit communication could have been better. central connecting piece) was not delivered. It was shown as coming as a separate delivery a bit later, so I thought all good and unboxed the pieces and started moving them to my lounge (they were all in big boxes out front of my house, as delivery cannot take them into the house, and I had to unbox them to fit into the front door).

The following Monday I get an email indicating that the central module I had already purchased and paid for is now out of stock (despite it being shown as in stock when I purchased and being sold to me). The option given was to refund that module (leaving me with a modular sofa with a hole in it) or to provide another module - which doesn't match the style of what I had already bought - and for that pleasure I would have to pay the price difference between the original module and the alternate module.

Needless to say, paying more for a mismatched couch or getting back some money but having a large modular couch with a hole / missing module didn't work for me. I contacted the published support chat for help and that was an atrocious experience. Multiple disconnects, trying to get past an AI that is useless, and then eventually getting to a support rep that is not helpful and in once case just ended the call on me. If my story ended at that point my rating would be a 1 and I would never buy from T&P again.

Luckily that isn't the end of the story. After doing some research I saw that some folks had some success reaching out to T&P via socials. I did that and I did get a response from a very helpful support representative - Helen. Helen took an interest, was happy to jump on a call to talk through options and working with Helen we managed to find a solution (by repurposing another unit) which left me with a complete matching sofa. Helen was an absolute pleasure to deal with and represents how even the worst experience can be turned around with the right people actually trying to help. T&P you have an absolute star in Helen - please look after her.

So the short answer to my long story is what started as a bad experience was totally turned around by a good support experience. It is still not great that I was sold a module that was out of stock, and having to faff about with repurposing other modules to plug the gap is not ideal. But I understand that these things sometimes happen and the willingness to work with the customer and get to a good outcome makes all the difference.

So will I use T&P again in the future - yes. Because while there is always a risk that something will go wrong, I know they will work with you to get it right. I cannot undersrtate the difference it made to have someone like Helen work on fixing the issue. Without that it would be a 1 star, with it is a 4 star rating (and only reason it is not a 5 is the challenge in initial support and having to go through socials to get someone to help).

Absolutely love this TV unit! It looks even better in person and has completely elevated our living room. The rounded design gives it a really modern, high-end look, while the four-door storage is fantastic for keeping everything neat and clutter-free. It feels sturdy, the size is perfect, and the finish looks great. Really impressed with the quality for the price and have already had compliments on it. Would definitely recommend! Show reply

BEWARE: Pregnant, elderly, or disabled people living in an apartment! their own is completely unacceptable. Both the delivery drivers and the customer service team were rude and unprofessional when this was brought to their attention.

This was my first and last order from this website. Save yourself the stress and shop elsewhere.

Beware- do not buy through Temple and Webster. I purchased a TV unit that I had purposely agreed that would be left if I wasn’t present at the time of delivery, however I WAS home at the time & they attempted a failure of a delivery- they definitely did not attend my front door and I’ve reviewed security footage to prove it. in 2 regards; they didn’t attempt a ‘proper’ or reasonable delivery (terrible effort) & they didn’t leave the product- they just drove off with my parcel! So now I’ve had to spend the day chasing up the delivery and I took time off work to be home. Their delivery service is dreadful and causes nothing but headaches & stress!

worst ever in every single way. sends wrong products, says they will send replacement but doesnt the first time. accuses customer of lying, luckily i screen shotted everything and have receipts. practices in illegal activities, by lying and does not follow regulations. have receipts.

I’m really happy with this rug! The quality is great, it looks exactly like the pictures, and the colours are beautiful. It feels soft and looks really nice in my space. I’m very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend it! Show reply
