Decided to spray our garage walls with pest treatment for some unknown reason. Stained and ruined the paint and wont remedy it, stating it "must be the type of paint that was used". up has caused damage to our lounge walls and loft.
Currently sitting in 32 degrees heat with a 6 month old baby in a house that looks like it has experienced a severe flooding event because these guys send out unqualified staff that have ruined our home.
Corbin came out and deep cleaned my air con units and boxes today. Only took a couple of days between calling to book, and having my units cleaned. He did a great job and was very professional. I will use them again.
Wish could rate Zero 29oct 2025 This company showed absolutely no respect for their customers’ time. customers stranded at the last minute.
I had reorganised my entire day around this appointment, only to be given a vague message and no real solution or urgency to reschedule. It’s clear they have poor management and zero reliability. If this is how they handle bookings, I can only imagine what their actual service is like.
I strongly recommend avoiding this company — completely unprofessional and not worth the hassle. Below is photo of everything taken out. Since early 5AM to make it to the appointment
The technician, Nicolas, was very friendly and professional. He showed me the process of how it was done and provided an excellent service. I recommend The 99 people and will consider using them again in the future.

James was amazing..I moved into my unit and my ac unit was black inside and full of mould from previous tenants and said it hasn’t been cleaned for years.. now it’s like brand new and we can breathe in clean air.. highly recommend..
Sorry I hate leaving bad reviews but these 99 people were so bad. My house is still full of ants and cockroaches. My dishwasher broke down a month after they had been. Had to get a tech out and the tech said is was faulty because of roach infestestation. Nice people but job not done. So dissapointed

I wouldn’t recommend this company. I used them 2 weeks ago and had some issues, booked the deep clean, they got here and said they couldn’t do the outside ones. And they only took $20 off each unit when it should have been $39 each. They didn’t want to agree and didn’t listen. They then told me the technician got fired, which was a lie.

Poor professional conscience and technicians did the very bare minimum. As a result, we’ve had damage to some expensive things that the company took no ownership of nor tried to rectify- when it really could have been an easy problem to avoid or resolve.

Waste of Money – Cassette aircon unit wasn't cleaned properly. Only wiped out with oil of clove mixture which I couldve done myself. Had to get another business to come & pull it apart & deep clean the unit. It was disgusting loaded with germs.

Down time earth – Can highly recommend this company. Correspondence was on point, and questions were answered. On the day of our services the technician texted to see if I could do an earlier appointment, not a problem. Arrived and performed services on our 2 appliances. Gave information on how to maintain between services also. Liam our tech was punctual, polite, informative, and professional and great to have a down to earth conversation. Keep up the great work

Do not use this company – Booked a deep clean for the condenser and inside unit, the guy came and was in and out in under half an hour, did not do the condenser had to get them to come back and do that, now less than 4 weeks later the inside unit is spewing water out , got another tech from another company to look at it and he said the inner unit was still very dirty and… Read more
the outside drain pipe completely blocked and not cleaned out, therefore causing this issue. Recommended never to use this company as they do not do a good job and end up causing customers to spend more money rectifying the issue. My adivce do not use this company go to a reputable air con service company with better techs. I did advise The 99 people of what had happened but no response

Disappointing Experience – I booked online to have my split system air conditioners cleaned, due to mould issues. I had to pay a deposit, which I did. informed me that they could not get to me until after the 7th of January. I explained several times that I did not book for the Gold Coast and that the air conditioners needed urgently cleaning, otherwise we will be having a Christmas without any air-conditioning. She kept saying they were booked, and they could not help me. I asked for my deposit back and then she started asking me for my account number and BSB. I was at work, and could not respond, so I will have to chase my deposit. I am very unhappy with this. I realise that things can go wrong with technology, but this has upset my family's safety and Christmas. I will not be recommending this company or their on-line booking system.

Dodgy company and careless contractors – Came out to clean 4 aircons and only did have a job. Booked a reclean for months down the track then never show up.
Negative – Ordered premium mould clean, unit still mouldy afterwards. Would not recommend

Really good clean of air con unit. Stains left behind – Used the 99 people to give my air con unit a deep clean as well as a review of my smoke alarms. The technician was super polite and worked well but unfortunately some oversight resulted in not the best end results. unit was cleaned would of prevented this. There was run stains left on our interior wall which was also a bit disappointing.
I also got The smoke alarm service however this reaped no benefits except a battery replacement. One of our smoke alarms still doesn't work and since the service beeps loudly often. We have since had to remove it.
The technician was such a good bloke but unfortunately a few oversights led to a not ideal experience. I did get some compensation back ($50 discount) but am now left with the task of repainting my concrete footpath as well as my entire interior wall if i want the stains gone.
Reasonable price & quick service – Service was great, was quick & did a great job. Reasonable price & kind employees.
Best aircon clean ever – Ray from 99 people came out and Deep cleaned our air conditioner after purchasing our unit . I told them that I needed it done straight away as it was disgustingly dirty and couldn’t be used , 99 people booked me straight in for the next morning and ray came out and when he was finished it was like a new one and smelt beautiful. Pricing and communication were spot on . I would highly recommend them for all air conditioner cleaning .
