Brought lounge suite it start coming apart 6months later they come out and glued it back together now all the springs are falling out you accept it to last a at least 5yrs

the electric recliner repeatedly catches on the inner cushion during closure, exacerbating the fabric damage. We consider this a $3,000 investment wasted and cannot recommend purchasing from this retailer.

Update (March 22, 2025):

Following our initial complaint via email, the retailer collected the 3-seater on Saturday, March 15th, for repairs. They assured us it would be returned on Saturday, March 22nd, after a week of testing.

Upon delivery, the driver reassembled the couch, photographed it, and departed. Immediately upon sitting on the couch, I detected a hard object beneath the hamstring area. Upon inspecting the recliner, I discovered a piece of wood and black cloth stapled to the underside, seemingly to conceal a defect. Furthermore, the recliner now malfunctions, closing with a loud thumping noise that shakes the entire 3-seater unit.

I contacted the driver within an hour, who stated he would consult his manager and call back. He then advised me to contact the store directly.

I relayed the issues to a sales representative, who promised a callback from the individual handling my case.

Subsequently, I received a call from a representative named Jack, who displayed unprofessional conduct. When questioned about the return of the couch in a worsened condition and the use of wood and staples for concealment, he repeatedly instructed me to "send an email." He refused to provide a solution or explain the discrepancy. When I threatened to file a complaint with the Office of Fair Trading, he simply stated I was free to do so. He also refused to explain why I needed to provide pictures, when the repairer should have documented the issue. He refused to provide any help, and only told me to send an email.

Despite his resistance, I agreed to send an email with photos and videos, but requested he review them and provide a solution. He refused, stating a separate team handles email correspondence. I reminded him he called me after speaking to sales, and thus should be able to speak to the email team. He still refused.

I have now sent the email and am awaiting a response, left with a further damaged couch.

Update (March 22, 2025, Part 2):

I received a response from A2Z requesting the photos and video again. They also falsely claimed that "the driver and technician were happy to assemble the recliner but I declined the assembly." This is entirely inaccurate; the drivers assembled the recliner, photographed it, and left. Fortunately, I have security camera footage to verify this. I am now awaiting another response to my email.

I bought Sebastian sofa set from Rocklea store. After one year leather started cracking and then tearing apart. I reported it to them. They said it's out of warranty. What's the point of spending so much and their sofa gives up so soon. I never recommend anyone to buy this sofa set. Waste of money. Very disappointing. I will have to pay to discard it now. I would have given zero star if I had the option.

had to organise for the goods to be received elsewhere and later transported to my address once someone was available.

Upon my arrival, I unpackaged the furniture only to discover a noticeable brown/yellow mark and a significant chunk missing from the bed frame. When I contacted A2Z Furniture, I was informed that my complaint fell outside their “two-day” damage reporting window — which, in my opinion, is an unreasonable timeframe — and they instead placed blame on the transport between the delivery address and my home. While I understand this possibility, it seems highly unlikely that such visible damage occurred while the product was still boxed.

The correspondence I received in response to my complaint was extremely disappointing. There was no sense of empathy, accountability, or care shown for the situation, which reflects poorly on their after-sales service and overall customer care.

I told her that it's already been that time and then she continues to interrupt me and speak over the top of me and say that it's coming from overseas and it's still three to four weeks. so I wait another two weeks and then call back and she saying another three to four weeks and I said to her has it even left and she said no but nobody even checked nobody even bother to find out any information about how much longer it was going to be. all she kept saying was three to four weeks. I then call today and asks if there's anything similar to a Bentley in stock and again she clearly can't understand English because she speaks over the top of me again and says I've told you ma'am it's three to four weeks. if you actually listen to what your customers are asking before you interrupt them then you might actually understand and buikd a better experience for cuatomers. whoever the women is that i have been speaking to, show some respect and knowledge yourself more on your products cause customer service sticks and I can see why you have so many bad reviews everywhere.You also don't get any warranty which is concerning in itself. Purchased a lounge suite from Sandgate store. Originally was told it would be a 6 week wait to order in the colour we wanted. After weeks and weeks of many phone calls and promises of lounge arriving, it finally came 16 weeks (4 months) later, but then we were told the colour we ordered didn't arrive and we asked if we would accept the colour that did come in. original purchase price of $899. I should have read reviews before making a purchase. I just wanted to tell you guys not to make the same mistake that I did and to read the reviews before to making a purchase. Guys Just scroll down a little bit and you will find similar reviews. I personally don't recommend anyone to purchase anything from AtoZ Furniture, and I definitely going to question people who recommended me. Worse decision ever made.

Ease of service – Recently purchased a king size bed from this company. I was sceptical as I didn’t have a chance to read any reviews first and I normally rely on reviews. We drove 1hr to view the bed and decided we liked it they had it in stock so we were able to take it home that day. It was simple to put together, my husband was able to put it together by himself. semi-trailer around and spotted a small sign with "we have moved" and their new address. So we depart and arrive at the new address. Arrived at 9.45am. Two males on a forklift ignored us until I walked into the shed with paperwork. Paperwork is the email from customer advising sale invoice number, customers phone number & address. One reads the paperwork and says you deliver now and he points to the ground. "No we are here to collect" I say . He then walks off, saying not open 10. My offsider and I climb back into the cab and wait. At exactly 10am my offsider & I walk into the show room. I walk up to the desk and explain to a male that we are here to collect a delivery as it is booked for a 10am pickup. He reads the email, makes a phone call to ensure this furniture has been paid before it's released. Fair enough I figure. He then points to a sheet of paper and states you sign here, to which I replied "I have no intention of signing for anything until I see the freight". He then comes straight back with you come back at 11. At this point I gave it to him. I stated that you have two days to get it to our depot. They have till 5pm this afternoon to get it here or it misses the Western Queensland run. I am not wasting 1 hour & 45 minutes travelling to them and another 1 hour & 45 minutes returning. A round trip from here to A2Z and return would be around 3.5 to 4 hours depending on traffic. So the main points here are; 1, Do not specify a collection time if it cannot be adhered to. 2, It is illegal to coerce any one into signing any dispatch/collection paperwork before goods have been sighted... Fair Trading would have a field day!

dreadful delivery – Visited the store almost 2 weeks ago and purchased an entire bedroom suite. Suite itself is beautiful except for the rips in the upholstery now. stairs leading to the door as he was not required to take them up. This was 5 boxes including a tall boy and full bed head. Needless to say, I could not budge a couple of the pieces and had to remove the bedhead from the box to try and get it into the house. Meanwhile with August winds the bedhead tipped and ripped. I am almost 60 and 55 kg and yet the delivery driver still refused to help even after I expressed my dissatisfaction with the service. I called A2Z and the response to my complaint was of no satisfaction. They later called me again and insinuated that it was my fault as it is stated in the contract that delivery is only to the front door. Meanwhile I have a suite that cost me almost $1000 which looks second hand. My suggestion would be that if you make a puchase from this store do not use the delivery service. Very disappointed.
