The item I received was rubbish. I purchased a Nativity Christmas Tree. I was then charged for the Nativity and Christmas tree separately. I was enrolled in a subscription without my consent. This Company is not to be trusted. I refuse to pay twice for an item that is not fit for the purpose it was purchased for. Be very careful of this Compsny.

No customer service. Placed my first order with this company and it said it should arrive within 14 days. After two weeks I contacted them to find out what was taking so long only to be told it is no longer in stock and unavailable. They only told me this because I contacted them. They had no intention of letting me know. Would recommend not wasting your time and money with this company.

A warning to anyone ordering a Thomas Kinkade snow globe. I ordered a Sharing the Season snow globe for a Christmas present and was sorely disappointed. What I received is not what was pictured. I asked them for an explanation and they said that the picture in the advertising is “An artists rendering of the product”. The one I received is… Read more

definitely not worth what they are charging. I could not find anywhere in the advertising that the picture shown is an artists rendering only. Very misleading, be careful.

I’m in love with my Dobby! – I must admit, I was apprehensive ordering from the Bradford Exchange for the first time because of all the bad reviews I read, however, I’m really glad I took the risk and did it anyway! I pre ordered the Dobby doll and it looked so lifelike, we were in awe! It came mid February, as I was informed, and money didn’t start coming out of my account… Read more

until it did! I cannot wait to display it in our Harry Potter Library! I’ll definitely be adding to my collection from the Bradford Exchange! Their products are exquisite!

The statues look fine from a distance, but up close they’re really ugly. The faces are poorly made, with the eyes looking in different directions. I bought a special collection that was supposed to be exclusive, but they send each statue separately and charge $20 for every shipment. In total, I ended up paying $260 just in shipping, which is… Read more

outrageous. The collection might look nice from afar, but when you see the details, the quality is terrible. I don’t recommend it.

Not as great as advertised – The first picture is what I ordered and the 2nd one is what I got. You can tell the difference. I ordered the Buffalo Bills Wreath. I received the box and wrapped it, without opening it, because it was a gift. The bow ties and the ribbons are different. The size of the helmet and Buffalo Bills next to the bow tie are different sizes. The gloves… Read more

are a darker color. Even the Bills hat on top of the head is different. The head is higher so everything looks fuller in the advertisement but what I received is like a miniature version. Definitely not as full as the original picture. Not what I ordered but somewhat similar. Very disappointed in how it turned out. Even the football is a different color. I've always been happy with Bradford Exchange products in the past and this is the first time I am disappointed in their products. I had the gift opened early because it was a combined birthday and Christmas gift, and he was starting to decorate for Christmas. I emailed a complaint to them directly because that's where I was told to email. The reply I received said "Sometimes the items will arrive looking a bit different than the original advertisement. You can certainly return this back for a replacement or refund. Please let me know if you wish for us to send you a prepaid return label." Obviously it was a gift. I wasn't going to tell the person I gave the gift to I want it back because I wasn't happy with it. I just won't be ordering from this company anymore. Their quality in items have definitely gone down.

Happy with products ordered, and quick delivery time – On 12/12/2023 I purchased two Christmas Ornaments from the Bradford Exchange Australia, which were delivered to me, by Australia Post, on 19/12/2023. Having received my order within a week was excellent in my eyes, and contrary to what most reviews on this site were suggesting. I am very happy with the two items I purchased, as they are exactly what was described on the Bradford Exchange website. Well done Bradford Exchange Australia.

I was CEO of this company and I understand their problems – I was Country Manager AUS/NZ of The Bradford Exchange between 1994 - 1998 and I understand their problems. With foreign sourced products, their many US customers (frustratingly) got priority over local customers and with locally made items, the manufacturing process is slow. The limited edition status is just that, meaning that sometimes limits… Read more

are reached!

Predicting demand is difficult and making decorated porcelain is a slow and labour intensive process. In periods of gift buying, as we had in Christmas 1996 with the Peter Brock "King of the Mountain" collector's plate #1, production could not keep up with demand and although we initiated methods of advising the customers, too many people were disappointed.

The Customer Service team work their hardest under difficult conditions to satisfy every query/complaint, but with the above issues they are only human!

I suggest that anyone intending to buy an item for gift giving, plan well in advance and before you criticize, consider the above.

I am happy to talk to anyone on my mobile number below, but please remember I have had nothing to do with Bradford since 1998.

Sincerely

Served me well and honest – I am slowly receiving multiple items I have ordered. So far so good. If you pay your invoice, there should be no issue. They are a company that should be paid for what they provide just as any other company in Australia. BRADFORD. So far you have treated me well as a paying customer

Beautiful Christmas Tree – Received my very first order from Bradford Exchange today and I must say I am not disappointed at all. It is so beautiful and I absolutely love it. I was a little worried after reading some of these reviews but I needed not too. I am very happy with my purchase and would definitely buy again.

I subscribed to the Shipwreck's collection with the intention of displaying the coins with a large model of RMS Titanic. I did receive 6 coins described in the collection but no display case or the so called certificate of authenticity that was promised.

Ordered one coin and clicked one off. Then I received more with a bill. I rang up and they said just to send them back. Which I did. They then said I had to pay more for the one I kept. So I paid for it. I then got another bill so I rang them back. They said i had to send the coin back or pay a 3rd time. I sent the coin back and was out all… Read more

Lies and deceptive practices. Gives an option for payments and then they tell you your item shipped. When it never arrives, but your bank has been charged the 1st payment, I called and was told I didn't "qualify" for payments and I had to pay full amount upfront before they ship it. They already charged me the first installment!! No refund, no explanation. Had to close my card and have my bank issue a new one. Don't order from them!!!!

BUYER BEWARE: This company operates a Scam operation. You Order the one piece of jewelry or Coin, it arrives, it looks nice. It doesn't end there. 6 weeks later you receive another package. One you never ordered, and your original payment method is charged. That goes on and on. You have to fight with the company to get Credit, you have to Ship back to them and you can guess another one is coming soon.

If you're looking for exorbitant markups on pieces of junk, rude customer service and scam sales tactics, Bradford Exchange is for you. I have been involved in a months-long dispute with these idiots who claim I owe them money, despite me proving them wrong with screen shots from my bank transactions. They will get debt collectors onto you and… Read more

when you try to reply to their harassment emails, your emails will bounce back. Try calling, and you'll be stuck in a queue. This is on top of their deliberately misleading product info page which sneakily adds on a "secondary item" that will be sent to you after your purchase, in the hopes that you will buy this item as well. If you don't, it's up to you to organise return postage and they want YOU to pay for it. Not only that, you will likely find the exact items that Bradford Exchange sells at a third of the price elsewhere. There is NOTHING good about this company. Avoid at all costs. They do not deserve to be in operation.

SCAM WEBSITE Do not order from the Bradford Exchange, you are not getting what you think your paying for. It is a marketing scam and a subscription entrapment. Look them up on the ACCC watch dog, they have already got a case against them.

My wife waited 25 mins on the line, to NO answer. Due to this, she went in to Parramatta hoping it was a shop-front and she could pick up a product, to be told it's just a warehouse. Had they answered the phone in the first place, two hours sitting in traffic would have been saved !

Ask for actual pick instead of what is in the catalog – I just want to let you know that I ordered a statue of Barack and Michele Obama and it was a horrible depiction of them. Hopeless experience – If I could leave no stars i would. Ordered start of Dec for my mums bday in Jan. Never got dispatch emailed. Emailed customer service and they said item was out of stock and not being replaced! Asked to replacement item took 4 days for a reply. Rang yesterday as no dispatch email. Nothing has been sent as they are doing stock take! Then I get told they haven't charged my credit card, which they have!! Hopeless! Do NOT waste your time.

Lied too, order cancelled and ignored. Terrible heartless company – After purchasing an item on black Friday sale for $80 with postage 2 days later I received an email showing a declined payment for $140 which was not true there was definitely a lot of money in the account. Do not order – I strongly recommend against ordering anything from Bradford Exchange. Their outdated early 2000's website that has no way to register, to track orders, raise returns along with there terrible customer service make it surprising that they are still in business. If I could give a rating lower than 1 I would and I am sure I am not alone.

ONHOLD TO THEIR "CUSTOMER SERVICE: LINE FOR 2.5 HOURS ! STILL NOT ANSWERED – Customer service absolutely non existent ! Shocking. Called the main Sydney "Customer Service" number and was on hold for 2 hours and 30 minutes subjected to the non stop babble of the on hold recording espousing their customer service ! What a joke. Absolutely appalling.

Steer clear! Want money for items never received! – Steer clear from this business. I had previously had good experiences with purchases. Always paid, never fell behind. 2020). So apparently a NRL women's ring I had "purchased" was "delivered" and never paid for. Well I know exactly what ring they are talking about, as after a while waiting I was told they were waiting on stock, so needless to say I cancelled. I never received this so called ring. And now they are trying to charge me for it plus the fees. They have no evidence that it was delivered or signed for. And now I have to take time out to go to a JP and have a statutory declaration signed and sent back. I feel like a bloody criminal for their negligence. So they have lost a customer and I strongly recommend everyone else stay away from this dodgy business.

BRADFORD EXCHANGE – I strongly advise against purchasing from the Bradford Exchange. My experience with them has been nothing short of a disgrace. Disappointed – This company needs to seriously review irs customer service & freight options. It is no surprise to see it only has a 1.3 star rating. I believe for to long it has rested on its loreals and is letting don’t current and future customers. I honestly do not know how it is still in operation if every one’s experience was like mine!! They'll send you to debt collectors – This was the most confusing transaction I've ever dealt with. I ordered 2 items through PayPals PayIn4. They ended up having 4 different payin4 amounts set up. paypal (even though I paid them). I added them up and it ended up being $130. They then proceed to tell me I owe them $270 for other invoices I hadn't received yet. Just Don't – I ordered a commemorative statue thingo for around $150. I specifically remember thinking "I wonder if that would be small enough to fit on the shelf?" so I looked up the measurements, measured the spot and knew (based on the description) that it would fit with a little room to spare (important later). arrived and I was excited to get it but put it under the Christmas tree. Several weeks later a random parcel arrived, so I opened it and it was a statue I hadn't ordered. I was quite confused so I opened the original parcel and realised that the two were supposed to go together and were far latger that o fit the space intended. Eventually I started getting harrased that I owe them hundreds of dollars. When I rang they said it was for the second statue and that it was a subscription service (which I definitely DID NOT see or read anywhere and would have never agreed to at that price). Told them I was not interested and not only that, I didnt want what I had received and I would have never ordered it in the first place if I knew any of this (size, cost, etc.). Their response was "no problem, we can stop the subscription if you send it all back." Sent it all back and about 3 weeks later get an email from a debt collection agency. How do I get rid of them?! I don't even care about the refund at this stage, I just want them to leave me the hell alone. This place is dodgy as fk.
