My 13 year old VW Beetle has been restored by the Bump Shop & I am so impressed with the excellent job they have done. It is clear that this business takes pride in their work & ensures it is done to a very high standard. Thank you for a great job.
I have used the Bump Shop on two previous cars as has my son. We have always been very happy with the service and quality of their work. My wife recently had a minor issue with her front bumper being dislodged from the fender. Stuart from the Bump Shop refixed the bumper while she was there at no cost. We were very appreciative that our loyalty to Bump Shop was rewarded by Stuart with this complimentary service.
This is my 2nd service from the Bump Shop. First was a repainting of our yellow Saab & this was a mumber of panels being perfected on our pearl blue Range Rover Evoque. We have received respect, excellence and value for money - would not consider going elsewhere
The team at The Bump Shop were friendly, welcoming and straight up honest and helpful people. I went to TBS for a quote to replace/install the top dash panel that I was to buy from a wrecker (fyi, I sent photos to wreckers of dash showing damage was to the middle of the dash only - wreckers would only sell me the whole dash panel and quote was… Read more
high which they justified by the amount of work required to extract it. I still had to find and pay someone to install the dash, hence popping in to TBS for a quote).
Joe had a look at my dash panel and advised that I would only need to replace the damaged middle portion of the dash, which actually turned out to be a "clip in" part. Tony jumped online to source that particular part and get a quote, which actually cost less than half of the quote from the wreckers. Joe advised they could order the part and also advised they could put it in for me and wouldn't even bother charging me labour as it would just need to be clipped in. I returned when part was delivered and the guys were again friendly and welcoming, and Joe kindly "clipped in" the part and made sure it was secure.
It is rare to come across honest people these days, especially when it comes to needing work done on my car, so I am truly thankful that people like Joe and Tony are straight shooting honest people that care about their customers and not looking a how much they can get out of them.
Thank you so much guys!!
Getting your car repaired is an inconvenience and is not cheap but The Bump Shop made this so easy. The cost, quality and service was outstanding what a fantastic business!
Repair of XW utility – The Bump Shop provided First Class Service and an excellent final finish
Don't go to the Bump Shop – I took my Skoda Superb into the Bump Shop for a Quote on a Rear Ender. Most other places will do a quote based on photos! Anyway, I took the time to take the car in there and the "Assessor" was just completely dismissive and told me it was a [Content Removed] job!?!! I took it elsewhere for a third the price and much better attitude!
Panel beating repairs New Landcruiser – Had some dents and scratches repaired on a new Landcruiser recently. The quote was competitive and the work was done in a very prompt manner by very courteous staff. Finish was excellent with exceptional paint match and the detailing was extremely good. They have every form of equipment required for any sort of repair on all vehicle types. Very highly recommended
Under promised and over delivered – The best repair shop I have ever been to. Estimated time quoted to repair my Mazda 3 was 4 - 5 days. They did it in 3. Very professional and did some other small (non paint) repairs while there. If I ever had to use a repair shop again I would insist on this business.
It’s my 1st time using The Bump Shop, you would never know I had an accident. Car looks amazing. Will highly recommend – My car looks amazing, inside & out. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Great people skills, helpfully & friendly, reasonable priced. Did a fantastic job. You would never know I had an accident. It’s an older car, it’s reliable & now looks new.
Brilliant Customer Service – I took my RAV4 in to get a quote on repairing a shopping trolley scratch and was extremely impressed with all the staff from the receptionist, staff who walked by and especially Joe who went the extra mile and polished the scratch out for me right there on the spot - complimentary! What a well run and honest business - I highly recommend them.
A great outcome – I was after a high end mid life paint and exterior trim refurb for my 2013 Range Rover Sport which had been subjected to an average paint job in the past. Leo, Mark and the team at the Bump Shop were easy to deal with and did an absolutely first class job in returning my car to an as new state. They completely understood what customised finish I was after and delivered in spades. I can highly recommend the Bump Shop to deliver a great outcome. Show details

A family business that puts you first! – I was introduced to The Bump Shop by my friends, It was better than they had suggested. Paul the owner dealt with my case personally and ensured I had a seamless and pleasant experience. It was a small private job, however I felt like I was a VIP customer. I highly recommend The Bump Shop and will be telling anyone who needs a car repair big or small. Thank you to The Bump Shop very happy, Russell
The service was excellent from the first day – From the very first contact with the Bump Shop staff, i felt as though they wanted to help and understood the frustration i was going through having had the accident. The finished repair was excellent but the time i had to wait for the repair was excessive Show details
Highly recommend the Bump Shop – Great people, excellent service, top job. The Bump Shop helped me get back on the road with helpful advice and always followed up with returning phone calls. No nonsense and friendly.
Very Happy – They were very helpful and prompt, and did a excellent job on my 2020 Range Rover Vogue, after being side swiped by a large truck, as good or better than new, very happy.John
Had a problem with my Mazda CX-30 cold-called and fixed no cost – On Friday 26/2 at 0850hours cold-called at their office introduced to Joe who checked my problem and advised is easily fixed and did so. He was very obliging and efficient. This being the first time I have used the Shop I have no hesitation in recommending them for car repairs to all motorists
No questions asked – Business is about people, and having been burnt by so many others, I'm happy I came across the bump shop. My initial impression with Joe was like an old-school joker, happy to say things the we used to say them. He came across as a bit of a salesman though (probably due to my prior negative experiences), seemingly twisting his way out of the… Read more
things I was asking. However, despite my high demands, everything he said he could do is exactly how it ended up, only proving his experience in the industry. He fought the insurer to include some of the parts I believed were accident related, and despite the insurer's reluctance, Joe got it done. The rest of the staff were equally on point, efficient, and polite on the phone. The provision of a nice modern courtesy car, with none of the usual red tape or headache, waiting there for me to drive away, was super convenient. As far as workmanship is concerned, the lifetime guarantee says it all. When I came to pick up my car, Joe walked me through passed all the others, among which were two really nice blue sporty ones. I didn't see which model they were, but I literally went to make the joke, "hey Joe, why not stop here and just give me one of these?" He then pointed at the second one and said, "so here's your car." I'm sure my jaw dropped, as I hadn't even recognised my own vehicle. It looked completely new. They had done a marvellous job with panel alignment and the colour match looked perfect, even the blending with my terribly old paint was better than expected. I've only had it for a day, but I can't fault it. Altogether a very positive experience.
You guys have made Wasabi great again – We have a 1973 Volkswagen Kombi transporter (Wasabi) which had some major frontal damage and some serious rust due to being on North Stradbroke Island, off the road for many years and just so sad. We moved to Brisbane, did a lot of research, with a few recommendations that resulted in zero to no responses or interest. After 4 years, I eventually… Read more
went to Mick’s Motors a Volkswagen parts supplier on the north side of Brisbane. I spoke with the business owner, as I thought he would be clued up on who’s doing Kombi restorations in the local area. After a few Kombi stories, he eventually said if you want a quality job, detailed quote and a definite timeframe, give the owner/manager a call from The Bump Shop at Eagle Farm, Brisbane.
So here is the short story about Wasabi’s Bump Shop experience. The owner/manager came to our place to have a look at the work and got back to us straight away with a detailed quote. Once we were happy, we got Wasabi over to their workshop. The initial assessment was based on just repairing the frontal damage, treating some rust and a spray paint to the affected areas. Still happy, the work started.
The owner/manager kept us updated on anything that needed work that wasn’t evident from the start, as this usually occurs. He kept us up to speed with progress sending photographs of the affected rust damage on Wasabi before proceeding, with our ok. The rust was worst then we imagined. Rather than just brush over the situation, he recommended sorting this out but also staying within budget.
With the rust damage repaired and the new front panels secured the next photographs were of the beginning of the spray paint. I could see that the windows and all other parts were tapped and covered whilst the panels were painted. I’m no panel beater but I thought what I was looking at, must have been the touch up work to the affected areas.
I visited the workshop a few days later to be totally surprised to find out rather than touching up they thought it would be just as effective and efficient to just buff the whole vehicle and paint the lot. After that, I couldn’t help but visit the workshop for regular updates on the transformation. The owner/manager also recommended to treat the internal rust areas with a Valvoline rust treatment solution to slow further deterioration from the inside out.
Throughout this journey it was clearly obvious that The Bump Shop team really enjoyed their work and took pride in what they did. I think the guys were really happy and proud of the job they did on Wasabi.
My wife and I are so grateful that everyone went over and above what was required just to make sure that our old bus looked brand new, as well as some safe guards against any further rust problems. We still have a little bit of work to get Wasabi back on the road, finish off the internal fit out and some mechanical stuff but we so looking forward to spending some time on the road exploring some local and interstate destinations in our beautiful kombi. A big THANK YOU to everyone at The Bump Shop.

Great service AND advice re cost savings on preparation of our car for sale – Rear bumper as new, buffing and restoration of paint damage great. Our car now ready for trade. Mark took time to offer helpful advice re cost savings on trade. Thanks!
Very happy customer – Was recommended by my Mazda dealer. I had a ding caused by a bolt being thrown off the back of a truck. Was most impressed with Paul and his team, the service and the quality of workmanship. I wouldn't go anywhere else (IF I had to get work done in the future!).
Bad costumer service – When I complained the staff asked me if I am not happy I could go there and I could fix my car by myself in the weekend. So I don't think I am fixing my car there
Highly Recommended – Leo took care of a damaged wing mirror quickly and efficiently so we could continue on our road trip safely - I'm very grateful for his 'can-do' attitude and awesome service. Thank you Leo and Bump Shop!
No job to small – I was recently recommended by my Mazda dealer to go here. I had some small stone chips on my new car. The bump shop were very helpful and fixed my car with the exact colour match. I am so happy with the results and the way I was treated I would highly recommend them and I would happily return in future.
Great Service in a timely manner – Recently had repairs done to our vehicle. The Bump Shop staff were very helpful, professional and knowledgeable. From quote to completion and attention to detail was exceptional. Great job and great to have the car back looking like new. No hesitation in recommending this company for accident repairs.
Very good job in a decent time frame – Rear door replaced on my tucson, cant tell a difference from new, very good job and done relatively quick as well, in the timeframe given. Very happy and would highly recommend the bump shop.
High standards, excellent service – My car had suffered considerable panel damage and being black the work needed to be done right. I also asked for some non accident related wear and tear repair work. All the repairs were done to an excellent standard and the quality of the work is second to none. If you take pride in your car and need it repaired, the bump shop is the place to take it. They may cost a little more but truly the results are worth it.
Fantastic Experience – As we all do - you shop around get three quotes & generally go with the middle priced quote. Not this time ! - The Bump Shop was the most expensive of my three quotes. However when I was receiving my quote a young man was collecting his car, after his repairs were completed, and he turned to me and said these guys are excellent my car is just… Read more
like brand new. My original quote was completed by Paul & he explained to me in great detail exactly what needed to happen - to which I fully understood. Once I was ready to book the car I spoke with Vicky at Reception & then on the day - Mark checked me in & run over everything again with me. I have to say the Staff at the Bump Shop (who i dealt with) were exceptional, they knew how to talk to people, very personal & made me feel like I was in great hands, they were all over 40 & I think old fashion customer service is the key. Thank-you guys for a Fantastic Experience & I will definitely be recommending you to anyone who asks. Money well spent.
Excellent work! – If you're looking for an excellent panel beater who does quality work, look no further than The Bump Shop. They may not be the cheapest but if you have a quality car, it is money well spent. Extremely professional, courteous and the pride in their workmanship is evident
Great and speedy service – The bump shop was highly recommended to us and we used their service three times now ( twice for my car and ones for our daughter') and were very happy with the quality of work and their service every time starting from getting the quote without delays, getting car in and repairing it in no time. Twice we had to use our insure and had loan car… Read more
organized through it, one of repairs was small so we didn't lodge a claim so The bump shop gave us their own loan car without charge in that case. Last repair was finished just yesterday and I was gladly surprised when I was able to pick up the car 2 days earlier than it was planed to, also guys did a few touch ups without charge. All process was very smooth, my insure was very happy with the detailed quote including photos ( the bump shop is not athorised repairer for my insure) so I didn't have to take the car for assessment prior to the approval, it saved me lots of time. I want to say thank you to Mark, Joe and lovely ladies who looked after my lime Honda Civic and the guys who did the repairs. Great job guys!!! I will highly recommend the bump shop to anyone.
Major Mistake but these guys are good – I recently sustained damage due to someone sideswiping my vehicle. I take a lot of care of my vehicle and although its 9 years old it looks as though it has just left the showroom floor. Anyway, I sustained damage to the front passenger side guard, 22" Alloy wheel and bumper. I went to the Bump Shop on the recommendation of the Land Rover Dealer… Read more
in Fortitude Valley Brisbane. They repair all the high end cars. I decided to have the bonnet resprayed as it had a couple of stone chips that detracted from its pristine look. The Wheels that I have are Redbourne Baron and are made specifically for Range Rovers by this company and were imported from Canada. They had been colour coded to the vehicle and the outer rim was left with the highly chromed outer. Anyway when the guy sideswiped me it damaged the rim requiring it to be repaired. When the wheel was returned it was evident that the repairer had removed all the chrome. It was very clear that it no longer matched the other three wheels. After recontacting my insurer (Shannons) there was agreement that they would replace the rim, unfortunately the rims were out of production and the only place that had them in the USA would not separate a set. So Shannons paid to have all the rims color coded totally to the vehicle.
I dictated how I wanted this to occur to the guys at the Bump shop and away they went to be pained, however when I went to pickup the vehicle I found that the wheels had not been painted to my specifications. The Bump Shop were right onto it without argument and were very apologetic. When I returned a few days later everything was great and I noted that they had fully detailed the car inside and out. It now looks immaculate, I am very happy with the job that the Bump shop did and more particular the customer service that these guys have. Nothing was to much trouble and it was refreshing to not have to argue with a supplier when they did something wrong.
I would highly recommend The Bump Shop for your vehicle.
