I've had an excellent experience with the College for Adult Learning. The support from the trainers and assessors has been outstanding, and the course materials are well structured and easy to follow. Studying a Double Diploma and working 2 jobs is made easier by being 100% online with support from the CAL team every step of the way. Their platform is easy to use, well-structured and designed for balancing study with work and life commitments. It's a great feeling to invest in yourself and your future, made cheaper by combining 2 diplomas. Highly recommend CAL! Show reply
A great experience – Studying through The College for Adult Learning was a rewarding experience. The coaches and student support were responsive to my enquiries and requests for assistance. My coach, Roma, was amazing and highly recommend Roma when doing your simulation calls. Completing the course has given me the confidence to step into new roles that I know will help me in achieving my professional goals. Show reply

Excellent Course, Incredible Customer/Student Support! – I completed my Diploma of Project Management through CAL in 2018 (~12 months of part-time study), and successfully was employed in various Defence Industry IPTs upon achievement. In April 2021, I took an Asst. Project Manager position at a well-known Defence organisation and within 3 months I had successfully worked away the ‘Assistant’ title,… Read more · 1
accepted a promotion to Technical Project Manager and am now successfully managing over 10 Defence contracts/projects with values ranging from $35,000 to $1.4m.
The Diploma itself was of course challenging, as all qualifications at this level should be. Individuals should perhaps be aware of their own shortcomings and/or ineptitudes prior to hastily venting on review websites. The CAL staff were prompt, polite, motivating, and supportive throughout my 12 months of study, and I never felt the tasks ahead of me were insurmountable. I found the lectures, activities, assignments, and general content engaging and relevant, and I know that completing the Diploma was crucial to the upwards career trajectory I briefly mentioned in the opening paragraph.
My CAL experience didn’t end with the completion of my Diploma however. The aftercare service I received was exceptional, and I have been in regular contact with various members of the team post-2018 that have warmly checked in and congratulated me on achieving my study and career outcomes. I participated in the ‘Career Close-up Profile’ activity in 2019, a personalised question and answer session that CAL polished up and displayed proudly on their social media accounts.
In 2020, I was doubly humbled to be considered a CAL ‘success story’ due to a combination of my ‘fantastic learning efforts not going unnoticed’ (kind words, thanks Aria), and a new role I recently started that was directly aligned with both my study and career goals. I gratefully participated in this activity also, resulting in CAL funding and organising a professional videographer to come to my apartment in Brisbane and film a short interview for the ‘Real Outcomes’ video series.
More recently, I received very supportive correspondence from the CAL team last week, prompting and facilitating the seamless transition/upgrade to the latest revision of the Diploma of Project Management, something I would not have been aware of had I not been informed!
In summary, my studies with CAL have been intrinsically linked with the successes I have achieved to date in my career thus far. The pricing is more than competitive, and I probably have had correspondence with up to ten different members of the team throughout the years, and I couldn’t say a bad word about any of them! The learning experiences, customer service, and aftercare were above and beyond what I could have ever anticipated from online learning, and I would highly recommend this RTO to anyone interested in professional development.
A few names come to mind over the last few years, so a special thank you to Michael Meere (my assessor), Alysia, Aria, and most recently, Sarah. Way more than just an RTO!

Currently attempting my course - struggling to engage with the outdated video content that is blurry and can be 30 years old. I have reached out for help on feedback for what I've submitted and all I got was "competent" - with little to no feedback… Read more
in what I can improve on, what I can focus on for the next assessment. I was advised to skip all of the learning materials and head straight to the assessment, which is a maze in itself. I've reached out for someone to help but reviewing my papers - there is so much information to complete - we are expected to submit the papers once and wait for a review, then we only have 1 further chance to submit all of the papers. It took me a very long time to decide which course I wanted and I had hope this would be easy to navigate, would have upto date support and I could get through this, but the lack of support in answering my questions is disappointing. I will keep trying even with the lack of support but I would recommend to get another qualification under your belt, but do not use CAL. Very disappointed.
Follow-up · Enrolment was great, they were patient and helped me find the right role. The person supported me on my complaint with a follow up call or coach booking that never went ahead, I decided not to schedule as I was due to do an assessment so I booked that in instead. They emailed me understanding and had said I can reach out to my assessor for more… Read more

I have enrolled in a Supply chain and logisitics management course. Now coursework is ok but the assessments are st^pid. For example my first assessment had 3 tasks. Sounds ok but when you go into them first part is multiple choice and short answer roughly about 45-50 questions, not bad. The multiple choice is straight Ai slop. Some of the… Read more
multiple choice questions have a couple answers that both correct so you just chose which one sounds better? Secondly the next part of the assessment is about short answer case studies. Sounds good, but after answer the first 16 questions they ask you to write an entire report around another case study. Sounds good, they even give you 10 questions which you need to cover. Now at this point (roughly 6500 words in) you think ok they have properly assessed me on the coursework (keep in mind it's one subject Im describing here). NO your not done the next part of the assessment is to write another report. Answering 20 questions. Some of these 20 questions proceed to ask you to write another completely separate report. So at what point should the assessments be cut off. How much do you accurately need me to answer to say yes you have studied and learnt the corse material. Now I've read some of the other replies this organisation has sent people. Just to preface and state Im using an alternative email in order to not receive backlash for my criticism of this organisation.

I found my WHS Cert 4 course to be very thorough and relevant to every aspect of my workplace. data and how to help deliver Safety information, topics, changes and improvements to my work peers. The support available from the team at CAL was encouraging and very helpful. I had moments through the course where I was second guessing being able to finish and struggling at times to get back to it. It only took a pop-up notice, an email or a call through to Sherrice to set my mind at ease and I would be able to steady myself to continue. At first, I did find it difficult to navigate the web pages of the course but as I worked through each Module, I learnt how it worked and where I was lacking. As my computer skills improved - so did the knowledge of the course set up. Thanks to Sherrice and the other support team at CAL for helping me develop my WHS capabilities. I look forward to now aiding my workplace here at Boags Brewery in Tasmania in all aspects of Health and Safety!

College for Adult Learning provided a wonderful and supportive online learning experience. the perfect balance between theory and practice (i.e. learning and assessment). Quizzes suitably tested the level of knowledge gained, while assessment enabled a practical approach. Assessors were professional, knowledgeable and helpful and marked assessments in a timely manner. The two year timeframe to complete the diploma was achievable, even with full-time work. The only thing I would change is to receive feedback on the incorrectly answered questions in the end of unit quiz. This creates a learning opportunity for people studying on how they can improve their knowledge.
I was very satisfied with the teaching and course content throughout my Diploma of Project Management. The online learning materials were clear, informative and well organised and the trainers were supportive and responsive whenever assistance was needed. I found the course moderately challenging, which helped me learn and develop new skills, but it was manageable with the guidance and support provided by the college. Show reply

The portal is dreadful, very difficult to understand and even the trainers admit it is not good! They were happy to extend my course timeline but I found it impossible to understand. I had my friend join me in a meeting online with a trainer to see if they could understand it, he found it clunky and unreliable

assessment simulation appointments ahead of time, creating a deadline for myself to complete assignments which helped me complete the certificate much quicker than expected. The assessor’s provide helpful feedback on assignments and are very transparent if something needs to be revised. The course has difficult aspects, however I believe it is possible for anyone to complete if they are determined, especially with the help of assessors. I absolutely recommend completing study through CAL, and I will be sure to go through CAL again should I choose to complete another certificate/diploma.
