Attention to detail including letting me know the different mobility access options between the stores as I was bringing an elderly lady with me. • Excellent experience involving Patrick and Matt in terms of the administration side of placing the order, to needing to alter the order due to a last minute and urgent change in circumstances for the lady I ordered the chair for - we planned to wait several months for the shipment with a chair in the darker fabric. I called and requested an in stock chair and it delivered 3 days later. Plus, I received emailed receipts in a prompt manner. • Delivery experience was excellent - their warehouse representatives were charming, caring and customer focused. Plus, they arrived on the booked date and on time. They set up the chair and took away packaging.

The range isn't huge, but they do carry mattresses in European sizes; a real find if you're relocating with your bed frame and didn't realise Australian mattresses are a different standard (like us!). sleep patterns and habits. We went with a Bio Latex 2-season mattress, and we're happy with the product itself. One tip for the shop, though: the mattress is heavy, wobbly, and has no handles, which makes it genuinely hard to move. Unfortunately, the delivery didn't account for this. It's outsourced to a third-party company, and the two team members who came weren't well prepared for the job. Their truck was quite messy and dirty, and without handles to grip, they had trouble unloading the mattress and ended up dragging it along the street, through the entrance, and up our stairs. The plastic cover was completely torn and got very dirty in the process. We'd still recommend the shop for the product and for the in-store advice, but I'd suggest they either provide handles or a proper cover for these mattresses, or brief their delivery partner on how to handle them properly.

I've made my bed! – The store is well located in Church Street with off street parking. There is an excellent display of products. having the bed assembled for an additional charge, however we declined and did it ourselves. It wasn't easy and I've had plenty of experience! The included assembly instructions were very poor and frankly inadequate. For an Italian company selling into an English-speaking country, they should be much better and far more comprehensive. Obviously if you have the bed assembled then this is not an issue.

Overall, we are very pleased with our purchase. The mattress and slat base make for a very comfortable bed. The bed can easily be folded away even whilst made up, with two straps holding the bedding in place.

The staff at the Richmond store were very helpful with good product knowledge.

fortitude valley who was seemingly disinterested in my quandary. i was told that the lady that deals with these issues is coming back from leave and he would email her. she obviously had a fortune of emails to go through on her return so i never heard back from her. its was too much effort for mathew to pick up a phone and speak to her to expedite the process. after two more calls and mathew's perfunctory attitude , i was finally told that the allen key i need to tighten the bolts was posted to me. well circa 2 weeks on still no allen key and my recliner is still sitting idle. i emailed the generic comfort shop to complain they also never replied. disappointing. the latest is i phoned mathew again and he is posting me a allen key so lets see.

Great products, poor service – Great products, third purchase, but after sale service very poor. Was told item was is stock, then waited 4 months for it to arrive.

I purchased a Portland Recliner which is a slimline single recliner lounge chair a few weeks ago. It is comfortable in a way that only recliners can be and its streamline proportions give a cool vibe instead of screaming old person's chair. Love the latex mattresses from The Comfort Shop and that they come in different levels of firmness. We had one from there for a long time in the past and when it came time to replace it I made the mistake of purchasing from a bed in a box company. Comfort Shop to buy a new latex mattresses recently and after a few nights I am pain free again. It is supportive in all the right places. The staff in the Moore Park store are excellent, providing good and accurate information while not being in your face. They also organised for the old mattress to be taken away at same time as delivery of our new mattress. The mattress was delivered onto the bed base on the top floor of our terrace house and all wrapping taken away. I just needed to make the bed after a few hours of allowing it to expand.
