Koala Mattress sinking after only 4 years. 10 year warranty basically is a joke. I was given the run around for weeks even after sending multiple photos to show the issue, Koala just refused to replace or refund. There is basically no warranty.

then were we told it wouldn’t arrive on Friday and would be delivered on Saturday instead. No communication, no apology.

On Saturday, we monitored the courier tracking all day. When it finally showed as “on the delivery vehicle,” we watched the driver pass right by our address without attempting delivery — then spend hours driving around Canberra before returning to the depot.

By Saturday evening, we still have no mattress, no delivery, and no update from Koala — and our emails remain unanswered. We had organised our schedule based on the timeframe they provided, which has now caused us considerable inconvenience.

For a premium-priced product, the service has been nothing short of appalling — zero communication, poor logistics, and no accountability. We would not recommend ordering from Koala based on this experience.

What more needs to be said? – I used to have a SD mattress, but needed two in a hurry with a job change and moving. I got the Queen middle of the road range, not super luxury, but it is better than the last mattress and a fraction of the price. Very happy with it, counting zzz’s over the moon! model in a double. I’ve had three couples come to stay since moving and they have all raved about the spare bed. Never has anyone praised any spare bed I’ve had in the past - even the basic model is THAT good!

For the price of my old mattress I got two and both are outstanding.

And delivery was ridiculously quick. And they kept sending me updates about where my new mattresses were along the road - like they were delivering a kidney to be transplanted rather than a mattress or two for a midnight flit. They arrived the next day and I ordered at 9pm the previous night.

That hip and back soreness I lived life with has now completely gone! There's been no change in lifestyle apart from the mattress we use - and the Koala Mattress has absolutely done the trick.

Oh - another benefit, it really does have great anti-sleep disturbance qualities to it (as in, when your partner moves around, you can't feel it). As I wake up earlier than my partner to get ready for work, this is important so I don't wake her up - and it works great!

Highly recommend for anyone looking for an affordable (but great quality) sleep. All mattresses aren't built the same - and the Koala Mattress has eased muscle pain, provided amazing quality sleep, and has still fit our budget.

Not a great mattress to be honest. Within only a few months I noticed indents where I sleep and that's someone who weigh's 60kg and moves around a lot - side, back, side, front, edge, middle. you'll get a clearly predrafted letter stating that if the dents are less than 2.5cm then that's just normal for mattresses and to be expected.

First 2 years Koala mattress was so comfy! After that for the following 2 years it deteriated quickly and is very uncomfortable. I thought this might be a manufacturing default but the team said it is normal. Show details

I didn’t expect to love this mattress as much as I do. It’s firmer than I had expected and yet it is just what I needed it seems. Having suffered from lower back problems for about 10 years I could not lie on my tummy anymore, my favourite sleeping position, or so I had thought. I would wake up with a sore back or headaches. I’ve converted my whole family and since convinced my sister and parents to each get a koala upgrade.

I have never enjoyed a foam style mattress in the past. I like a springy traditional style. But my koala is SO comfortable, it has changed my mind. It's firm and supportive while feeling soft to lay on. No sinking or feeling stuck at all. I'm also addicted to their eucalyptus lyocel sheets. I won't sleep on anything else. They're cooling.
