Really happy with the amazing customer service at the Modbury, TTP Reject Shop on the evening of Wednesday the 1/7/2026. Chloe was super cool and awesome, had a friendly approach, was really helpful and made me feel welcomed. Please recognise this amazing worker for her genuine, lead by example service. Great customer service, awesome rang of items yet some cheaper at Coles & Woollies. The Idigital Lightning charger & Sync USB cable are useless even when this cheap. They DON’T last long & buying a better quality one elsewhere is what I recommend. Absolute rubbish & waste of $’s. Show details

The rubber/plastic material of a pair of woman's twin strap sandals I purchased for $4 cracked within just a few days. However, my return request was refused on the basis that their policy does not allow returns for shoes. I explained that this was a product defect, but they responded that the low price reflects the low quality of the product. Show details

Bad candles and bad mangers attitude – I have been buying tea light candles from the reject shop for years mainly at morphett vale S.A but also at surrounding stores, the candles were great no problems until the changed to a different brand "Haven" which I was told by a staff member is the reject shop brand, these candles are awful I was throwing several out of a packet of 40 candles… Read more

away which I never did with the previous candles, they are $7 for a 40 Pk, the candles seem to burn awkwardly and it damages the wick, and you can't re light the candles, sometimes it will relight and it will just go out, other times the wick burns and is covered over by the wax, I started keeping these reject candles and took them into the morphett vale store and showed the manager who was rude, and argumentative and really not interested, she couldn't give me a refund (which I didn't ask for, I simply wanted to make them aware of the problems with these candles) because I didn't have 40 candles, she did say end the end she would email head office about the problem whether she did or not I don't know but she didn't even actually look at the candles, ive since started buying less of these candles because they are crap, unless they go back to the original supplier I will be looking for better candles which I use every day so I use a lot of candles, the manager also continually insisted the candles were the same candles as they previously sold but just different packaging, they are not the same candles and you can see that they are different candles but she kept insisting they were, I have attached photos the package labelled unscented candles are the original ones and best ones they sold,Haven is the new candles and I've included a photo of the reject candles

Always enjoy browsing at Maryborough QLD Reject Shop. Had a whim that I needed some new reading glasses' case. Browsed Ebay (prices & postage made me think twice) Big W Market Place because Big W in-store don't stock them in-store & AliExpress (if I was really desperate) also made me think about trying some local Dollar Stores. I absolutely love The Reject Shop. Perhaps it is a sad reflection of my life that a highlight was when The Reject Shop opened a store in my suburb in November 2025. It is no exaggeration to say I visit the store several times a week. Some reviews criticise the quality of products. While some products are worth paying more for, I tend to skimp… Read more

on basics. I am gradually culling possessions and replacing plastic storage tubs. The tubs I purchase from The Reject Shop are probably not going to last forever but at $9 and $7 for the respective sizes I don't expect them to. They provide an effective interim solution without breaking the bank.

I am also a fan of their cleaning and skincare products. A lot of them are the same name brands sold by the supermarkets at a fraction of the price. Sometimes products are close to their expiry dates but mostly they are parallel imports. On a couple of occasions, I purchased parallel import skincare products made in France while locally imported versions were made in China.

The Reject Shop would not be my first choice for high end products but it certainly is for convenience and value for money.

BEWARE OF REJECT SHOP GIFT CARDS I have two Reject Shop gift cards that were purchased from Broadmeadows store on 02/12/25. from the store at Epping Plaza this afternoon and was told by store attendant [Name Removed] that she couldn’t scan gift cards. I produced activation receipts and she told me that she was able to see the money on the cards, however was able to complete transactions due to system timing out. Sally was polite and courteous. She reports contacting her regional manager and told me that Epping store doesn’t accept Reject shop gift cards. She also told me that her manager couldn’t explain why even though Reject shop gift cards are for sale at this store. She recommended that I pursue this further and she gave me Reject Shop Help Desk No: 1800 770 012. I rang this number and spoke to [Name Removed] who was unable to assist me. However she asked me to send an email outlining what occurred. Selling Reject Shop gift cards that can’t be used at all stores is misleading and one could say fraudulent . I’m not aware of any written information regarding this eg only certain Reject stores accept their own gift cards. At the very least can you please provide a list of Reject shops in Vic that do allow their gift cards to purchase items. Shame on your company for selling Reject Shop Gift cards in stores that don’t accept them. Regards from a very frustrated and disappointed customer.

I'm very disappointed I used too buy bulk in hand wash and body wash 750ml for $5 now the size has shrank to 500 ml for $5 as well as used to buy L'Oréal Elvive shampoo and conditioner for $2 now I can't get anything for that price . Prices are no difference from supermarkets

Absolutely horrible customer service. I was in the reject shop morayfeild with my little brother and a worker came up to us and rudely ucused us of eating lollies in the store. extremely rude and arrogant. She demanded to see my bag. I opened my bag and showed her that there was just a jumper and water bottle in there. She made me open every single pocket on my backpack and dump out all the contents. I was just trying to shop for my mother! Extremely horrible experience.

Campbelltown mall the reject shop – I went to buy Dove soap and was surprised by the price of the piece, which is 1.25, which is normal compared to other stores, but what surprised me is that if I buy a box of Dove soap of four, the price becomes 5.75, an increase of 0.75 cents. I don’t know what they were thinking when they set these prices, but for me this is a rip off

STAFF TRYING TO UPSELL TO CUSTOMERS – Reject Shop at Claremont Village Tasmania - staff serving at registers are instructed to try and upsell - I observed this whilst waiting in line and then it was my turn and out came the spiel for trying to sell chocolates to customers who already were making purchases of their own choice - I felt like walking away and buying elsewhere so I wasn’t… Read more

pestered to break my budget. I find it insulting and humiliating as a vulnerable person and being very aware of current cost of living constraints to be put in the position of saying NO. People who make these decisions rethink your attitudes towards your customers - why don’t you give away chocolates if you want to get rid of them that desperately? Consider your customers are likely in your shops to cut costs and not be upsold to - by the way I’ve shopped in a lot of Reject Shops in the greater Hobart area and this seems to be a sneaky little ploy to sell customers things they don’t want and probably can’t afford - some staff have it down to a fine art which is not nice for people who find it hard to say NO.

Great customer service – After extremely poor service from IGA, I contacted the Smithton store of the reject shop to see if they had what I've been looking for. Unfortunately, they didn't. However, the gentleman I spoke with was extremely courteous and very helpful. He suggested other places that I was unaware of and went out of his way to be as helpful as he could be. … Read more

This is typical of the great service I receive every time I deal with their store. I only wish I'd gotten the man's name so I could tell his boss.

Unsatisfied Cutomer – Love shopping at the reject shop in Greenacres SA. The staff have been great, until recently they have employed a new staff member whom unfortunately has no customer service skills at all. They are usually the one on checkout. Never acknowledges you, no hello, no goodbye, no thank you, no communication. My star rating is for the shop itself, no star for this employee. Very disappointing. Show details
