Eastgardens NSW Brandon, Harry & the Staff are awesome
Always helpful and kind. I heard Harry singing and it was so funny and cute. Harry says he is going on the stage. Brandon listens to him sing. I laughed as it was uplifting to be in a store and laugh considering all this COVID drama

Worst customer experience in years
Having been a loyal customer and supporter of The Reject Shop I cannot express the disappointment I feel at the lack of response and sincerity by head office to a complaint about the aggressive behaviour of a 'manager' at the Ashfield store and safety of customers in store. No sanitiser or hand wipes out the front of the shop and was worried about shopping in the store during a pandemic. This occured when the shopping complex where the store is located in had an outbreak. Was told by staff member that I rude for asking. Apologised if it cam...e across that way but was concerned about the safety of my health. She refused to accept this and kept saying how rude I was. When I went to leave the shop the staff member came running to the front and verbally abused me and told me I had been reported to her manager. Asked to speak to this manager and her response is that she is the manager. Since early January have sent numerous emails and attempted to reach head office by phone but only receive brush off emails pretending they care and then saying they tried to contact me by phone even when they did not have my phone number. Provided my mobile and NO phone call has been made or missed by the company. Now very concerned that this staff member (or manager) will attack me not just verbally but maybe physically.
Not worth the money
I recently bought an iDigital desk fan for a new colleague. She was rapped when I gave it to her. My issue is that it didn’t even last a week. It was dead after 3 days. As I paid cash, stupid me didn’t keep the receipt. Never buying anything like this again from The Reject Shop
Koala and kangaroo teddies
Teddies on display said the range from $5 & $7 so I thought I get both a kangaroo and a koala for my daughter but paying for it they said it's $10 each.
To me it was false advertising and misleading.
They should price them clearly.
Brilliant Store AAAAA+++++

Amazing help in an emergency jimboomba regect shop staff
My daughter had an epileptic seizure today in jimboomba reject shop. The staff was amazing fast but calm. Kind but organized Sarah ( with an s apparently there are two sarahs) was so amazing and perfect in this emergency. Nothing was to much trouble . From getting towels to help make the daughter be comfortable to giving my stressed mum water and trying to distract my 19 mth old. Also there was a male worker filling out the paper work who also could not be faulted . Understanding and professional . Love this store for being amazing today. Thank you
Breach consumer refund laws.
Twice at the Modbury TTP store I have been refused a refund now. Both times I had my receipt and in the case of last weeks trip I had literally bought the product 15 mins before and returned with receipt knowing them to be unreasonable. So I went straight back. My refund was denied as the packaging was opened. The product was deceptively packaged and I had to open it to find out it was not the product I thought.
There was NO signage anywhere to inform customers of this aberration of normal and expected retail etiquette in retail stores.
...I was informed I was not entitled to a refund due to the packaging being opened. I explained that their product was on the wrong peg and looked like the product they had advertised on that peg ticket. (Wired instead of wireless with wires completely hidden in the package so you literally didn't know till you opened it!) I was refused a refund by two staff despite a 20 minute discussion involving the above points. I don't think this is legal and I plan to pursue it through consumer affairs on principal. However Buyer beware at the Reject Shop! They do not believe in consumer rights or law!
Perfect for the price
Bought sound Republic earbuds for $15 . Surprised with the quality . Very good base and overall sound This product is excellent i must admit i did not expect it to be that good .
Improved selection, good prices
Since TRS partnered with Tesco the groceries offer has improved. This allows it to classify itself as a convenience store and stay open in Victoria during the Wuhan virus panic.
TRS has a good selection of non-food items at good prices and my local store is taking business off Big W (which is closed to in-store shoppers with no signs of re-opening).
Prices are good and often better then Aldi. The lollies have more flavour than Aldi's.
One thing I like is TRS doesn't bother with charm pricing. All prices are even dollar amounts. I like that. It's more sophisticated and treats shopper as sensible adults.
Brought a item that was opened and stuff was missing
Brought a shoe rack that was opened (only realised the opening in the box when i got to the checkout), when i got home brackets and screws were missing from it. Tried everything to hang it up, but had to throw it out, waste of money honestly. No doubt they were stolen
Extraordinary Customer Service in this Day and Age
Whilst I am not somebody who ordinarily writes reviews, and on the odd occasion that I have, they have been an expression of disappointment. This review only relates to the shop at Waurn Ponds as that is the only one that I have dealt with. I sent off an email to the head office if I could possibly be advised of when a particular product came available. Now in this day and age of customer service which seems to be lacking considerably in the retail sector, it turns out my email was passed on to the store, and I was contacted when the product be...come available. The lovely lady whose name escapes me, telephoned me and advised that she was putting the products that I requested aside in the back office for me to collect. I won’t go through the details of the product but it was a dog treats. I was astonished at just how lovely she was and how simple the whole process was and they deserve 5+ stars.
My Fav Place to Shop in Bondi Junction
The Reject Shop is my favourite place in Bondi Junction to grab a bargain.
It’s conveniently located in the busy Eastgate Shopping Centre on the second level next to the Aldi Supermarket. There’s ample parking in the centre itself, plus plenty of public transport options to get here.
The store is well laid out and easy to navigate, with simple, clean lines and strong lighting. It isn’t too big, which means that you can cover it all in a short time. Often, I might just wander in with nothing particular in mind to buy, but rarely do I leave wi...thout at least two or three purchases, because the temptation is just too great, with so many bargains. Just about everything you might need for the home is here, with pretty much something for everyone, all at low prices. Some of the things that I’ve bought here recently include plastic storage containers, toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, garbage bags, batteries, birthday and other greeting cards, household cleaners and wet wipes, oven gloves, plastic cups, serviettes, peg holders etc. I’ve also bought tinned food products, coffee and peanuts. Often I’ll find things here that I can’t find anywhere else. The quality of the products is satisfactory and I haven't yet found something to complain about.
Love shopping at the logan hyperdome reject shop

Never disappoints ..
Store was clean, staff were attentive at cash registers and friendly. Huge variety of products, styles, colours and designs with prices to suit. I very rarely walk out of this store without being a totally satisfied customer
I love shopping at my local reject shop, they always have something new and always surprise me. The staff there are really friendly and know what they have in stock
Bought 2 different sizes dog collars as I didn't know which one would fit (I didn't need to unpack the other as I started with the more suitable collar), went to return the unused and still packed dog collar with the receipt one week later - only to be told that No pet products would be refunded!! I've copied and pasted their online refund policies. I tried to call the head office and no return call even though I left 15 calls about the transaction.
My advice - stay away from these stores unless you definately are not looking for quality or a...ustralian trading practices!!!!!! RETURNS POLICY Our refund policy is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. If you purchased a product from The Reject Shop, that you believe is not of acceptable quality, fit for purpose, does not match the description, then you may have rights to a remedy under the Australian Consumer Law and we will be happy to offer you a refund or exchange. You will need to provide your receipt or other adequate proof of purchase. If you cannot provide proof of purchase, The Reject Shop may provide a refund or exchange at our discretion provided that the product was sold exclusively by The Reject Shop.
Questions & Answers
I'd like to apply for a job here - Is The Reject Shop LGBTQ friendly/inclusive?
Unfortunately I am unable to answer that question Maya. Cannot recall seeing anyone who is openly involved with the LGBTQ community employed by them however you should try to speak to them directly. Good luck with that as I made numerous attempts to contact them and after 3 months gave up.
Can I return an item to a different store than where it was purchased?
why is it called the reject shop
Way back in the beginning it specialised in end-of-run, shop-soiled and liquidation items.
