Tiffany and Co Pitt Street. Dissapointing customer service. Needing to exchange a gift within 30 days. The sales staff (lady) was extremely unprofessional and rude while explaining the store credit (as the exchanged item didn't use up all of the original amount), needs to be treated like good old cash. Most lux brands (and in fact retails like… Read more

Myers / DJs even), maintain a digital credit system which is kept in their system or via email. Given that wasnt the case at Tiffany, we were surprised and the staff was very annoyed and rude to explain the Tiffany policy. ridiculous when you spend the amount of money you spend in these shops to have old fashioned store policy and that to explained so rudely by staff! never walking into that store again.

Follow-up  · The same, I honestly can’t believe the quality of the sunglasses, I bought a very well named brand and for this to happen I am very disappointed… No need to add more photos as glasses still look the same ….

We bought a sliver necklace for our friend for her 50th birthday and after one day of wearing it the necklace turned green and caused her to break out into an itchy rash. We returned the gift and asked for a refund as she did not want another one or a different product based on the quality and the reaction to it. The store was not sympathetic they… Read more

simply said this happens - I have never purchased quality silver and see this happen. Its disgraceful and poor quality service. The quality of Tiffany silver is terrible, their necklaces are thin and made from cheap silver yet they charge over $600. It was a hugely disappointing experience since we bought this as a gift and our friend had no other option but to choose another product as a gift from their store that she did not want. A disappointing customer experience that ruined a milestone birthday with a gift that was intended to be sentimental yet resulted in a bad experience that will be remembered instead. I will never shop here again.

Disappointing quality and Experience with Tiffany's Double Heart Pendant I recently purchased the double heart pendant in sterling silver and gold to complement my beloved Tiffany bracelet, and I must say, my experience has been quite disappointing. Initially, I was excited about this new addition and confirmed with customer service that the… Read more

engraving would be placed on the front of the gold heart. To my dismay, when I received the necklace, the engraving was on the back of the silver heart instead.

After contacting Tiffany, I was instructed to return the item for buffing and re-engraving. Given the high cost of the necklace, I was reluctant to have it buffed and was subsequently told I would receive a brand new replacement. However, upon receiving the so-called "new" necklace, I noticed matching codes on the receipt, which made me suspect it was the original piece that had simply been buffed. The necklace arrived with tags still attached, one heart wrapped in plastic, and it was thrown into a simple necklace bag rather than the elegant box it originally came in that I had sent back to them as instructed when I returned it.

To add to my frustration, after wearing the necklace just a few times, the sterling silver began to tarnish. When I reached out to Tiffany about this issue, I was met with a dismissive response, stating that tarnishing is normal and advising me to avoid wearing it in the shower or to polish it myself. I have never encountered such significant tarnishing with other jewelry, even far less expensive pieces, and my Tiffany bracelet has remained untarnished despite daily wear.

Given the price point of this necklace, I expected a far superior level of quality and customer service. This experience has fallen short of the high standards I associate with the Tiffany brand. I hope this feedback prompts improvement in their product quality and customer service.

Disappointing – My husband brought a necklace from Tiffany for our 25th wedding anniversary. It had black marks on the clasp which looked like the silver had not covered properly. Tiffany agreed to assess it so sent it back to them. They have said the black marks are stamps and now included on all their jewellery! It looks cheap and damaged. No refund or… Read more

exchange was offered, as was advised the stamp is not a fault.

Customer services were rude and unhelpful. I would not buy from Tiffany again and wish I had read these reviews before we purchased this. Avoid for future!

Outstanding Service – I recently purchased my first Tiffany & Co. piece—a necklace that I loved but unfortunately did not fit. Tiffany & Co. has always been a special treat for me, as it typically falls outside my budget. However, I look forward to returning in the future, and I hope to have the opportunity to work with Jasmin again.

Additionally, the process of having the necklace lengthened was both quick and effortless. I cannot fault the service I received.

Disappointed in Tiffany’s Aftercare Service – Style Over Substance I visited the Tiffany store on 26th June in the afternoon —not during lunch time, not peak hours, not weekends. store open?

I had made an appointment for a simple repair, but it was accidentally booked on the wrong day. I explained the situation and was told, “We’re fully booked and short-staffed.” Yet I was standing in an empty store. One staff even walked out, overheard it was a repair, and turned around.

They offered me a new appointment two hours later, which I was okay with. But then I watched my friend—who had no appointment—get helped immediately and made a purchase. So clearly, if you’re buying, they’ll make time. But if you need aftercare? You’re invisible.

I told them my request was simple: just one form to send an item for repair. I was happy to pay for it. Still, they refused.

And just check their website—plenty of next-day or same-day appointments for purchases. But for cleaning or repair? Nothing for a month

What really hurts is the attitude. I bought my first 18k gold bracelet and white gold and yellow gold ring and set of gold earrings at Tiffany when I was early 20s. Why assume a client coming in for aftercare isn’t going to buy again?

This was not the service you expect from a so-called luxury brand. Tiffany clearly prioritises selling over loyalty—and treats past clients like they don’t matter.

I visited the Sydney city store in early June, planning to purchase a silver Red Heart Tag Bead Bracelet, or something similar. I had been putting money aside for a couple of years that I had received as a gift from my teenage sons. On arrival at the store I asked where the silver section was. The response from the sales assistant was “we don’t… Read more

stock silver, just a very small selection, it doesn’t make sense for us to stock silver. We only have gold and diamonds in store”.

Sydney city Tiffany used to stock silver jewellery, this is a change catering for the high end of the market and not the lower end. I can understand that it may “not make sense to stock silver in store”, however at the very least, a small notice alongside silver items on the Tiffany website stating “online only” would be helpful and considerate.

I did contact Tiffany twice, expressing my disappointment, however, I have not received a reply at all. Appalling.

I was gifted a Tiffany jewellery box, valued at $3500 for Christmas. The jewellery box is beautiful however I have found 18ct, 9ct white and yellow gold and Stirling silver tarnishing. The discolouration initially appeared after 2 weeks. I have cleaned the jewellery however the problem continues. Disappointing. Show details

that you need to make an appointment to have a service as simple as that done. I’ve always walked into the store, left my jewellery and come back and picked them up. Last time I went in,they told me I had to wait instore until they were cleaned. Unfortunately, the service at this store has declined over the years . I had another issue a couple of years back with customer service , and the manager at the time called me to discuss what had happened. Sadly Bart , the manager , left this organization and the service has declined once again. For an iconic brand such as Tiffany’s, it’s so sad that the staff they employ don’t know the history behind the brand. To them it’s just a job and customer service doesn’t matter. I’ve given this store another chance , but not again. Giving 1 star was being generous.

Terrible website and no empathy for customers – I am writing to express my extreme disappointment and frustration with my recent order from Tiffany & Co., bearing the order number 994065. Upon placing my order on your website, I encountered a significant problem with the… Read more

ordering process. The website layout and navigation proved to be highly confusing, leading to a critical error in my order. I have attached a screenshot of the website for your reference, highlighting the problematic areas.

My specific grievance stems from the customization of a pendant, where I intended to order the letter 'S' for engraving. Regrettably, due to the unclear website design, I mistakenly selected the letter 'A' instead. The placement of the letter selection option directly adjacent to the engraving section, without a clear indication of the front and back view of the pendant, resulted in this grave error.

As this pendant was intended as a birthday gift for my wife, the incorrect engraving has not only caused immense disappointment but has also left me with no suitable gift for her special day. I invested a significant amount, utilizing my savings for this purchase, only to receive a product that does not meet my expectations.

Despite reaching out to your customer care team for assistance, I received the disheartening response that no corrective measures could be taken due to the personalized nature of the product. This lack of support and acknowledgment of the issue has deeply saddened me, as I never anticipated such a dismissive stance from a renowned company like Tiffany & Co.
