We called Tint A Car Sunshine Coast to claim on a warranty as some of the windows in our home had started to delaminate. We have a lifetime warranty on the tint, whilst we still live in the home. When I first called to chat to somebody about our warranty, they informed me that I would need to find the original receipt before they could move forward, but I wasn't sure if I could find it so I told them that I would contact head office as surely they would have us on their data base if offering a lifetime warranty on their product? The woman [Name Removed] that I spoke to was quick to come back to me to say that they had found my details and she would organise to send somebody out to have a look and replace the tint on the bottom panels if the installer thought there was an issue. I asked "what happens if he replaces the tint on the bottom panels of the windows but then the top panels look completely different" and she assured me that he would have enough tint on him and would be able to sort that out whilst here if there was a difference. Now she is having trouble recalling that conversation, but I would think it would be a question most people with common sense would ask. There is always a chance products won't match so I was curious about how we would resolve any issues like this.
Fast forward to after having him here this week and after replacing bottom panels, the top panels look different. The top panels are milky/cloudy, the bottom nice and clear and the installer told us that there definitely is a difference and they should be re-tinted to match. He told us on the day that he didn't have enough tint on him and he needs authority from manager/head office before he is able to change the top panels. Let's keep in mind these are our main windows in an open living area, so they are somewhere you can notice the difference in the tint. My husband spoke to his manager and she said they would need to discuss what was going to happen and they would get back to us. The installer stood there and said that there was definitely a big difference, but we did not hear back from them after he left. I contacted them today and was told, that conversation didn't happen and it wasn't part of their warranty as there is no delaminating or creases and are still good for their age even though they're completely different to the other half of the window. I messaged back to say that I would contact head office and chat to them about having the issue resolved, but you can't contact head office and speak to anybody!!! They are uncontactable even on the number supplied.
To say I am disappointed in the whole experience in an understatement and I will follow up with an email, but I am not liking my chances of getting a response. I would not recommend Tint A Car Sunshine Coast at all. The original job done was great, but since then their customer service and warranty claims has become an issue. I don't appreciate being told one thing and then not to have it followed up. Customers should not be treated in this way especially when you're buying from a company you think you can trust. The reviews I have read on several pages are mixed, but many complaining about warranty claims and not being able to contact head office or nobody replying to messages and being ghosted. I will also be writing a review on the company's page so hopefully we get some resolve. I would advise to make sure you get everything in writing wither by text or email and only speak on phone if completely necessary.

What a fantastic result! I have been putting up with bubbles in my rear window for years and tint a car replaced the tint for a very good price. They matched my exciting tint perfectly using the Octane tint. My car looks brand new. Wonderful staff at the Hobart office were great to deal with. Highly recommended.

near the beach and from sand..absolute crock of [Content Removed] and the fact I was then told to go to bunnings and get a little blade and try and fix it myself! Spoke to many in the auto industry and this is all [Content Removed],not to mention my partner and everyone I know in the area does not have this issue with their car. Lifetime warranty hey,well it's a bad job I'm an unhappy customer left with the mess! Shame on you coffs harbour tiny a car trying to pull one over a woman! I want to share my experience with Tintacar Rockingham to inform other customers. Last year, I purchased a brand-new Pajero Sport and requested ceramic paint protection. expectations; in fact, it was far below acceptable standards. The protective film was applied with visible cuts, uneven edges, and an overall poor appearance. The photos really do speak for themselves.
Despite my attempts to resolve the issue with the owner, I was refused a refund. The owners was extremely rude and would not help in any way.
The worst part is they actually think they did a good job.
I feel the appearance of my new car is ruined and the value of my vehicle has been affected.
I escalated to the state manager of tintacar , and received no meaningful support. He simply did not care.
I also reached out to Tintacar Australia (head office) for assistance, but they refused to take responsibility for what their franchise did to my vehicle and ignored my requests for a refund under Australian Consumer Law.
As a result, I filed a claim in the Magistrates Court of WA, and the court ruled in my favor - however Tintacar still refuses to refund me.
I am sharing my experience to help others make an informed decision.
If there was an option for zero stars I would give that as a review.
I recommend that anyone considering Tintacar Rockingham—or any Tintacar location—do their own research before committing to a service so they don’t end up in the same situation as me.

happened day 1 and the worker did not tell the owner, why was this dudes work not checked after the first damaged door card, he was allowed to continue and damage the second one, the owner consulted my mental health did not validate how I felt. He agreed to replace the door cards, however they will take 5 to 6 months to get hear I said I can't wait that long I wanted compassion so I can replace the car which is much quicker I have never had a bew car before the dealership said they would change the car but about 5k to do so. Apart from finding contaminants yet again under my existing film applied by the other business, I had also realised after nearly having an accident on the freeway at night that the film was too dark to allow clear night-time visibility. Kelly was immediately concerned about the safety issue, to the extent of offering me a time slot the following day in what was obviously her busy week to have the tint removed and replaced, as well as spending a long time discussing what had happened and the different options for a lighter (and safer) replacement film. So I felt very confident that I had come to the right place.
When I dropped my car off the following week to have the tinting job done, Kelly once again went the extra mile to ensure that I would be happy with the tint VLT level, to the extent of asking Max to actually apply offcuts of two different films to one of my car’s windows so that I could see the difference in VLT before application. She also suggested that I sit in her own car so that I could see how a different tint level looked in real life. All this took quite a long time, but I was never made to feel as if I was a nuisance. Kelly is so incredibly patient and determined to do the right thing by her customer to ensure their complete satisfaction with the finished job, regardless of how long it takes.
My new Spectre ceramic tint (45 VLT all round) is perfect. Visibility when driving at night presents no problem at all now and my car looks great. Additionally, I was treated like royalty despite this not being a huge amount of money spent, and even given a voucher for a free coffee at the lovely Micrology coffee shop up the road while I waited. All up, this was a wonderful experience. I will be recommending Tint-A-Car Osborne Park and particularly Kelly to everyone I know requiring car window tinting.

of just pushing a product, the lady at reception took the time to talk me through all the different film options, explaining the actual performance differences so I could make an informed choice. Based on their expert advice, I eventually decided to go with the Spectre ceramic tint, and I am absolutely thrilled with the result.
The installation process was super quick! They had the whole car finished and ready to go in just two hours. While obviously time will tell regarding the long-term durability and any potential bubbles down the road, I checked the windows thoroughly right after the install and there wasn't a single imperfection or bubble in sight. The clarity is pristine.
If you want professional advice, a flawless finish, and a team that respects your time, go see the crew at Osborne Park. Outstanding job - bravo!

I went with black panther and it has been life changing. The job was done exponentially well. to settle" excuse. We returned for a repair, but they somehow made it worse. Getting them to honour their "30-day no-questions-asked money-back guarantee" was a nightmare. They ghosted our communications entirely. We had to escalate the issue to the Franchise Manager just to get a booking to remove the faulty tint. Even then, they botched the removal, leaving pieces of tint behind, they cut the rubber seals and the glass was still smeared with glue. And to make matters worse, they sprayed deodorizer that left our brand new car smelling like toilet air freshener, a smell that’s now hard to get out. While we finally secured a refund, it took weeks of painful chasing. Avoid this specific franchise unless you want ruined windows and nonexistent customer service. Buyer beware- Please read tint a cars guarantee policy before getting your car tinted.
I booked about 7 weeks in advance to have a clear wrap applied to my bonnet and front bar at Devonport Tint A Car. They said that Burnie Tint A Car had taken all their supplies and there wasn’t any in the state. I returned to a mumbled I’m sorry, took my key and left with a brief comment on their lack of professionalism, and with no plan to rebook after receiving this terrible customer service. I did wonder in retrospect whether they knew that they didn’t have enough and that’s why they suggested I had booked the half bonnet.

Beware the non-disclosed quality standards for this company – Probably best that you are aware that the quality control standard for this company is 7-10 air bubbles per window. Yes that means if you get a hatchback or SUV tinted with this company up to 70 air bubbles across the 7 windows is deemed acceptable. the documentation you are provided - basically its a secret they keep until you question the number of air bubbles in your tint! And just to clarify this is the air bubbles that have not disappeared a month after application - so likely they are never going away!

How can you get almost flawless tint applied on cars at a dealership, yet a business who tints for a living feels up to 70 air bubbles is an acceptable standard on a car, is beyond me.

Poor service, will not use again. Buyer beware – Tint a Car Niddrie/Essendon. Left clear fault in rear windscreen on new tint and blamed me for the car having a rear parcel shelf. is taking just over $1000 and suppling a product NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE! Why did they think I wanted a product that was going to make my car paint worse? That was the opposite to what I wanted. Tint a Car can tell me its my fault for not reading the T & C's but they are supposed to be the professionals, and they are taking advantage with this product use on unsuitable cars for the cash grab. Just be honest with customers with cars over 5 years old and tell them this product it is not suitable and not under any warranty! The reason they don't is no one would buy it.
Left a sticky adhesive – I had ceramic coating and window tint done at Caroline Springs. The job was great except that the sticker they put to prevent rolling the windows down for a couple of days left some sticky adhesive that was so difficult to remove.

The window tinting had a bubble on the front passenger window and upon contacting the staff said , they can’t do anything as the window tinting is done on space exposed to foreign particles. As I disagree with them, they promised a replacement if I leave the car with them for two days and will be fixed when they have spare time. [Name Removed] @ Maddington Tint a Car. Paid $1490 for the package. All those review in their website are influenced and they are not easy to deal with. They show the real face when things go wrong. Stay away from Maddington Tint a car.

good tint. but car was left with lolly wrapper and floor got messy – thank you for the job well done. my husband is happy. our car looks new. I only have one thing, there was a lolly wrap left on the window pocket inside the car, pineapple coconut lolly. then twas really so messy on the floor, after you’ve done the tint. next time pls clean it dnt left it that way pls. Tint A Car - Spectre 20% window film Mazda CX-5 Maxx – Tint A Car - Holden Hill Adelaide South Australia. 2023 Mazda CX-5 Maxx - Had all the dealership window tinting rear of B pillar stripped and replaced with Spectre 20% tint. Vehicle was completed within an hour. A little disappointed that interior had drip marks on doors and there was adhesive on external paintwork. BUT it was rectified. Dissatisfied – Be aware if getting the paint protection on older vehicles. Yes, I was told there is no guarantee on older cars. Petty theives – Did good job on my car no complaints But they stole my valve caps and went through my gym bag how do i know this bag was open and towel left on back seat i put it down behind passendger seat when i left it with them things were moved around in my car rang them up said they would ring me back in other words they can take what they want from you
