So buy at your own risk. If nothing gies wrong with your product you’ve struck a great deal. If something goes wrong be ready to write off the product.

My suggestion is to pay the extra for onshore service and warranty support for peace of mind.

is a risk/benefit equation and when it works, it really works, and when it doesn't, it doesn't. As long as you are clear about that, you are therefore prepared to wear the potential problems, if and when they occur.

As it happened, Toby and co sent me the wrong conversion plug for the charger they supplied, which meant I had to get one here for a small extra outlay. I didn't mind as I still got the deal I wanted.

The answer to Toby's critics is that it offers a very skinny price for a reason. And if things don't go well, you are not going to be consumer dutchessed like you would with an Australian retailer. If that is a problem, steer clear of them.

On the front page, they exhibited the message: "Due to Covid, since 19 December 2020, we are closed down, and no longer conduct the business. For warranty issues, contact the email...".

So, my stuff was shipped a day before they closed for good. I was a little bit concerned. But the tracking showed the parcel reached Australia. On 23 December, I got the parcel. The lens looked brand-new, and no counterfeit. That's 7 days since I placed the order. I give the company the 5 stars out of 5. I consider their unbelievably cheap price the close-down sale. Sorry to see them go.

As for the people who said: "I order the stuff early December, so that to receive it before the Xmas, but the parcel did not come, and they do not answer my emails", I will tell them the following. The cheap price means the low customer service. Apparently, they are an honest company, and they will eventually ship the product, even if they do not have it at the moment. Especially if you are buying a popular product such as the phone. Being a low-service seller, expect them to deliver the stuff anywhere between 2 weeks and 2 months. Do not expect them to answer the emails (promptly), especially of the kind: "A week has passed, where is my stuff ?" You pay the low price (which is important for you !), so do not expect the high service level. Amen.

Would have got 5 stars, BUT - - – After reading lots of bad reports, bit the bullet and bought 2 x Samsung S20+ on 1st Dec. After 10 days of nothing, no updates on order, I sent 3 emails over 5 days, all for no response, this is why I give 4 stars, not 5. Then on 16th Dec, email indicating Order posted, 5 days later I had my 2 phones in perfect new condition. At $650 LESS per phone than the usual local shops, I feel great about Toby Deals, and would use again. Show details

Arrived as described, great price – My Mavic drone arrived safe n sound, quite a prolonged period between payment and dispatch but once the tracking number was provided it was a reasonable time frame ( Hong Kong to Australia) correspondence was generic but accurate. Please be aware of this company ! – Bought off TobyDeals AU. Delivery times are terrible. The only reason that they sell so cheap is because the models they sell vary resulting in certain functions to not work (eg. Samsung Health Monitor) due to the model being for another country in my case Taiwan, yet I ordered and live in Australia. Avoid this company. Show details

fraud – This company is a fraud, they were in the news for tax evasion and GST evasion. I bought a phone from them, after a month the phone restarted multiple time over the day out of no reason. I asked them to get it repaired, which they did and asked me wait for 4-6 weeks. And then after 6 weeks they said, the phone will take more time to be repaired, hence will give you a 80% refund for your usage and as per the market price. Total fraud and scam! Show details

halmarks of copy paste and random box ticking... If a fault developes, they will hide behind the manufacturers warranty with no investigation into the fault itself and will try to extort and additional $104 from you to ship the faulty item back. Do do trust them with electronics.

Denial of factory warranty – I purchased a Dyson V11 and after 13 months the trigger broke. When I approached them for warranty they told me the warranty was only 12 months so bad luck. I approached Dyson looking for the part to repair my machine and they told me the machine had a 24 month warranty and they sent me a vacuum head with no hesitation. Tobydeals would still refuse to accept the item was still in warranty. Beware, they are scammers. Show details

If I could give zero – My gripe is the terrible service. They sent me a broken screen protector and wouldn't replace it. I sent pictures which they quibbled over. Ridiculous. that’s similar to what u ordered, and PayPal Won’t protect you as they will just send a link to confirm something arrived so if you want to return it you have to pay the shipping fee and you lose out anyway. This is after the fact that you will wait 3-4 weeks for it to arrive in the first place. They don’t respond to emails, and if they do u will get a generic “blah blah blah” response ignoring what u at actually asking. Scammers sent me a a Chinese copy after advertising in english – Scammers sent me a Chinese copy of the game after advertising in english then PayPal made me send it back for a refund. Total waste of money – Purchase an Samsung galaxy Tab A7 2020 on 27 of November 2020 for my son Christmas present. Received the item and the charger is not original Samsung. Didn't deliver my product – I ordered an OnePlus 8T during the black friday at a super good rate. After a month with no updates nor replies to my emails, I had to ask PayPal for a refund. What's worse is that I lost the black friday window to get a good deal from a decent store. Show details

Order arrived but not fully convinced – Ordered the new Samsung air buds as a gift for Christmas. Recieved order in Australia 2 days after it was shipped from Hong Kong (took 10 days to process however). Chinese writing all over the box but looks legit. Guess we will find out Christmas morning.
