How do i charge this watch? It doesn't come with a charger cord or device. I get that you take the strap off and there is a plug end, but do i just stick it in any USB port or does it need a specific charging device? The specs online say it charges via a 'magnetic USB charger'...... do i need to buy a charging device?

Hi varsity, I am pretty sure you pull out one of the wrist straps and plug into the connection which the strap plugs in to...I hope this was helpful for you...

Has anyone successfully gotten text and phone alerts calls on this smartphone? I have tried all their suggestions and still no alerts coming thru. Will I have to re-install the app?

Throw it in the bin.
Ensure it is paired and connected to the phone via Bluetooth. Sometimes I had to restart both the watch and the phone to get it to sync.

Are you able to make and receive calls and, receive and send messages? Does it have GPS?
I bought the watch as i am having blood pressure problems. Machine is totally inaccurate and dangerous, so i threw it in the bin. Ans to your Q, don't know but i think a big NO.
