I keep getting timed out when I'm trying to connect my tokit induction portable hob to the app on my samsung phone. . It keeps saying "timed out" or connection failed " can anyone help please.
is it just like the laptop ? The fan will turn on when it is needed to. When the inside of the induction plate is too hot. Have you contacted Tokit ? What did they say ?
If you watch the video you will see that the fan speed is very intermittent and then it stops completely. I’d be real worried about a laptop that did that - especially if it stopped altogether. I have contacted the company and did not acknowledge that there was an issue for quite a frustratingly long time, before finally offering a replacement (which I didn’t want - same issues?) or a refund if I paid for the return (which I didn’t want to do as I was supplied a faulty item). I ended up getting a full refund via PayPal and the company are yet to supply me with reply paid details to send the item back.
I just checked video. It seems the pot is burning ? The induction surface will not heat up if there’s no pan on it because it needs your pot to react with to generate heat. So even if it gets accidentally turned on—or you forget to turn it off—the surface stays cool. (Though if you use it to heat a pot, there may be some residual warmth left on the burner from the pot itself.) And some induction burners will automatically turn off if they detect a pot has boiled down or boiled over; due to lack of liquid in the pot, the temperature will increase and shut-off will occur at 500 F.
