Easy interaction – I found top gun conveyancers to be transparent with fees and progress of settlement. They were quick to obtain all searches and raise any issues. They also acted on my best interest to gain the best outcome. In brief, transparent, friendly, professional and relatable.

I do not recommend you use these guys – If i could give a minus star I would. They registered the wrong surname on my title with the Government, and Urban utilities, and Brisbane Council, I have notified them of this (weeks ago) and they haven't resolved it. We are from a rural town and time poor so we didn’t want to drive to an office to sign documents, but everything was so simple via online correspondence and the communication from everyone involved in Top Gun was excellent, very fast to answer phone calls and to respond to emails. I will 100% recommend to others and will definitely call upon them when needed again in future.

A very costly mistake using this company – I found this company to be negligent and to not care about the client. paying rates for a rental when it should have been for an owner occupier. After 2 emails my so-called conveyancer [Name Removed] who at the time never even communicated directly to me (left it all to her assistant) finally responded and took no responsibility and told me I bought it when it was a current rental. The tenant moved out literally 2 days after settlement and we moved in! They knew full well that we were going to be moving in and didn’t bother to change the rates category on the paperwork and didn’t bother to tell me to even try to do this myself. They are happy to take your money but have no care for the client. Buyer beware if you use this company as you will need to be checking over their work on your own. There was no apology from the company nor did they want to acknowledge their negligence. I now have to chase up the council for the lost funds of paying higher rates and Top Gun Conveyancing want nothing to do with it as they have their money now… for a job that they failed to do correctly. This should be the number one lesson you learn as a conveyancer - to not put down the wrong rates category for your client. They are a drive through type of service as they don’t genuinely care about their clients. There was no duty of care at all. Please find a better conveyancer who actually takes pride in their work and doesn’t make mistakes like this.

Not impressed – Was not impressed with their work at all! They left everything until the last minute and would email at 4:58pm on a Friday requesting documents. Communication was okay at best and they missed critical aspects of the contact, didn’t even bother following up with finding the information certificate at time of purchase either. Got the job done at a competitive price, but could have been smoother – Top Gun completed our conveyancing at a competitive price. However dealing with multiple staff there over several weeks who clearly hadn’t communicated with each other lead to frustrating repeat emails and questions, some spelling mistakes leading to delays in handing over documents, and overall just a satisfactory experience. I would recommend them as they did get the job done and didn’t break the bank.

Another successful encounter – I don’t recall how many times I have used Top Gun for both buying and selling. I will be using them for my next ( and hopefully last ) purchase. Many thanks to Dominique and Liezel amd the rest of the team.
