Silver and Wassim were excellent. They arrived on time, came well prepared, and worked efficiently to get the job done quickly. They stayed positive throughout and even had a laugh along the way. I’d highly recommend them to anyone looking for a fast and reliable moving company, and I’ll definitely be referring them to friends.

Booking was seamless, price was great, silver and wassim arrived early and immediately got to work, silver showed great leadership and wassim worked tirelessly, no time wasting whatsoever, my work takes me all around Australia and I have moved 9 times in the last 14 years, this move was by far the most efficient and it was a pleasure to work with these two moving professionals, highly recommended.

May 2025. Had to replace Washing machine because when Top removals “kindly” installed it- they left the moving brackets on the back. When I used the machine for the first time after the move, it sounded like the machine nearly “ exploded” . When I initially advised them they said Their guys did not place the moving parts on!

The question is why wouldn’t they ? Is this not a part of good, quality removal service. I certainly don’t know how to do place moving arms on. I handed them the parts.

When I sent them (1) my original purchase invoice dated July 2024 (2) the photo of moving arms on the machine which the repair washing machine technician I engaged later - had to remove. (2)the bill from an appliance repair technician who advised the washing machine drum had been damaged due to the moving arms having been left on by Top removals- their response was “As per our T & C’s Our guys are not plumbers so it’s on you- the customer” I did two moves with them, the first one went very well, the second one, I had to purchase a new washing machine. I Do not recommend them. Accidents happen. That’s what insurance is for. Do not use them- their attitude was sad and disappointing. Do use them, your appliances are at risk and they will install your items- yet accept no liability. Sad. They will reply to this review and say I waited a couple of months to advise them. This is not true. I advised them as soon as the appliance company sent me an invoice - Aprox two weeks. They denied responsibility so I sent them a second email two weeks later. Your choice - your risk to use this company. The day the sent me their final e-mail in July saying it wasn’t their responsibility - I had to purchase a new machine at my own cost.

I am doing this review so that Top removals do not say they will install appliances and then if they don’t work - say it’s not their fault. All other aspects of the move went well. Furthermore in regards to my experience with the second move - I would recommend they place an experienced Removalists with a bit so experienced Removalists.

Our removalists were meant to arrive at 8am but were running late - this wasn't a problem for us as they communicated that this would be the case so we weren't concerned. Once they arrived Silver did a quick assessment of our place and determined that we would not need the two trucks that we were originally quoted, only one. He was right! We were impressed with his experience and knowledge that he could make that assessment so quickly. They were so efficient with their packing that there was even extra room in the truck. Aiden and Silver - we can't thank you enough for taking an enormous amount of pressure and stress out of our move. You were friendly, extremely professional and handled all of our belongings with care. Despite having to trek up three flights of stairs to carry all of our furniture out of a three bedroom place, not once did we hear you complain or even seem to tire. We couldn’t be happier with Top Removals. Nothing was too difficult for Silver and Edwin, they took the stairs and the heat in their stride with a smile on their face. They were bang on time, super speedy, careful with our stuff, and just all round nice guys. Definitely highly recommended!

The worst company ever seen. It was the worst from the beginning to the end with too much cost for me. finally got response with some law and guidelines they had. Very unprofessional wrapping, unprofessional staff, and most furnitures unprotected and left on the ground and made lots of trouble for us to clean the mess that they did. Removalists too slow, most of the time in the back of truck and talking each other, and took too much time of over 10 hours for a small 3 bedroom house removals for a short distance of less than 15 minutes. Another worst part was paying double compared to other quotes I had from other companies.

Do not use. I had a dreadful experience with Top Removals and would strongly urge others to steer clear. What should have been a straightforward move – a small townhouse just 2km away – turned into an exhausting 10+ hour ordeal. were also significant language barriers, which made communication difficult and led to repeated confusion and mistakes throughout the day.

To make matters worse, several items went missing, including important cords and accessories. When I raised this with the team, no one followed up or took responsibility – I had to chase them myself to even have the issue acknowledged. Still, no apology or genuine concern was ever shown.

I also paid extra for their unpacking service, which was an utter waste of money. The two people who arrived were clearly uninterested – they threw items randomly into cupboards and drawers and left within a short time, with no care or attention to detail.

To top it off, I was given conflicting and misleading information about box removal. I was told it would be included, only to find out later that it wasn’t. Again, no one apologised or made any effort to resolve the issue.

The whole experience was chaotic, overpriced, and completely unprofessional. Top Removals market themselves well, but don’t deliver on even the basics. I would never use them again – and I strongly advise others to go elsewhere.

the movers ignored this completely and unnecessarily took many small items — causing delays and extra charges. Even worse, they moved at a noticeably slow pace, took frequent visible breaks, and one of them was even seen taking selfies during the job.

We were told midway through the move that only 45 mins to 1 hour remained, yet the job dragged on for another two hours, bringing the total to an absurd 6 hours — for a job that previously took 3 hours with more items. We also noted that one mover admitted he had “never completed a move in 3 hours” — which really makes you question their advertised time estimates.

On top of the poor service, our freezer door was left with a large dent, and the walls of the apartment were scratched during the move. The movers were dismissive when we raised concerns and made inappropriate comments instead of offering a solution.

We were ultimately pressured into paying the full invoice on the spot, despite the job not being completed with any urgency or respect for our time or belongings. We’ve since lodged a formal complaint and requested a fair refund, but if it’s not resolved, we’ll be escalating to the Ombudsman and Consumer Affairs.

Avoid this company if you value your time, your belongings, and professional service. We absolutely would not recommend them.

in between constant cigarette breaks. Broke a valuable lamp. Even went to wrong address! It was the worst experience I’ve had in moving. My partners load ( similar size but different company) was unloaded two days later in ninety minutes. Company does not reply to calls or emails and has disabled Gooogle reviews. Be very, very wary about this company. I hate writing bad reviews and the staff who packed were professional but the move was terrible and follow up service very, very disappointing.

Baptiste and Baris arrived this morning to pack up my apartment prior to moving. They did a fabulous job and were a pleasure to have in my home. Everything was carefully wrapped and professionally packed with great care. I would highly recommend them.

We used top removals to move from the inner west down to the Sutherland shire and I could not have asked for a better experience.
