May 2025. Had to replace Washing machine because when Top removals “kindly” installed it- they left the moving brackets on the back. When I used the machine for the first time after the move, it sounded like the machine nearly “ exploded” . When I initially advised them they said Their guys did not place the moving parts on!

The question is why wouldn’t they ? Is this not a part of good, quality removal service. I certainly don’t know how to do place moving arms on. I handed them the parts.

When I sent them (1) my original purchase invoice dated July 2024 (2) the photo of moving arms on the machine which the repair washing machine technician I engaged later - had to remove. (2)the bill from an appliance repair technician who advised the washing machine drum had been damaged due to the moving arms having been left on by Top removals- their response was “As per our T & C’s Our guys are not plumbers so it’s on you- the customer” I did two moves with them, the first one went very well, the second one, I had to purchase a new washing machine. I Do not recommend them. Accidents happen. That’s what insurance is for. Do not use them- their attitude was sad and disappointing. Do use them, your appliances are at risk and they will install your items- yet accept no liability. Sad. They will reply to this review and say I waited a couple of months to advise them. This is not true. I advised them as soon as the appliance company sent me an invoice - Aprox two weeks. They denied responsibility so I sent them a second email two weeks later. Your choice - your risk to use this company. The day the sent me their final e-mail in July saying it wasn’t their responsibility - I had to purchase a new machine at my own cost.

I am doing this review so that Top removals do not say they will install appliances and then if they don’t work - say it’s not their fault. All other aspects of the move went well. Furthermore in regards to my experience with the second move - I would recommend they place an experienced Removalists with a bit so experienced Removalists.

Do not use. I had a dreadful experience with Top Removals and would strongly urge others to steer clear. were also significant language barriers, which made communication difficult and led to repeated confusion and mistakes throughout the day.

To make matters worse, several items went missing, including important cords and accessories. When I raised this with the team, no one followed up or took responsibility – I had to chase them myself to even have the issue acknowledged. Still, no apology or genuine concern was ever shown.

I also paid extra for their unpacking service, which was an utter waste of money. The two people who arrived were clearly uninterested – they threw items randomly into cupboards and drawers and left within a short time, with no care or attention to detail.

To top it off, I was given conflicting and misleading information about box removal. I was told it would be included, only to find out later that it wasn’t. Again, no one apologised or made any effort to resolve the issue.

The whole experience was chaotic, overpriced, and completely unprofessional. Top Removals market themselves well, but don’t deliver on even the basics. I would never use them again – and I strongly advise others to go elsewhere.

Hard working – Last week we moved from Melbourne down to Sale. We have a 5 bedroom home, and with 5 kids, we have LOTS of stuff. We hired a 12t truck with 3 workers. It was 33 degrees, but the guys didn't stop. One thing to highlight, the quote you are given doesn't include GST. It's in the T & C's, which I had picked up, but with our move it still came in about $400 cheaper than another quote I had organised. Something else to note, if you have to travel a distance like we did, these guys will go until they finish the job. Another company who are members of the Association, told me that their employees can do a maximum of 12 hour days. While this is probably sensible, in our case the guys would've had to have stopped unloading and headed back to Melbourne and come back the next day. We just wanted the pain of moving all over with on the day! We chose the right truck too, because as we suspected from doing the online inventory, we had a couple of boxes that still couldn't fit, and had to go in the car.

Top Removals are excellent in service reliability and price.We have used them twice to move and both times have had excellent teams this time it was Frenchmen Benjamin and Arthur couldn’t have asked for two better guys,polite, went out of their way to accommodate and were so careful in wrapping,carrying and stacking furniture in truck. Highly recommended Top Removals and will use them again with future moves.

Baptiste and Baris arrived this morning to pack up my apartment prior to moving. They did a fabulous job and were a pleasure to have in my home. Everything was carefully wrapped and professionally packed with great care. I would highly recommend them.

Thoroughly impressed – After a bit of shopping around, I decided on Top Removals for a recent move. The guys were quick, efficient and took great care moving my things compared to other companies I've used in the past. They are also well priced and had absolutely no dramas. Very unprofessional wrapping, unprofessional staff, and most furnitures unprotected and left on the ground and made lots of trouble for us to clean the mess that they did. Removalists too slow, most of the time in the back of truck and talking each other, and took too much time of over 10 hours for a small 3 bedroom house removals for a short distance of less than 15 minutes. Another worst part was paying double compared to other quotes I had from other companies.

The company took ten hours to move me one and a half blocks. They packed all my items five days before and yet they brought a truck that was too small. It had to be moved in two shifts. in between constant cigarette breaks. Broke a valuable lamp. Even went to wrong address! It was the worst experience I’ve had in moving. My partners load ( similar size but different company) was unloaded two days later in ninety minutes. Company does not reply to calls or emails and has disabled Gooogle reviews. Be very, very wary about this company. I hate writing bad reviews and the staff who packed were professional but the move was terrible and follow up service very, very disappointing.

more. They were slow & lazy… it’s was one guys first time and he got tired quickly. They tried overcharging by 2 hours. The lady in the office [Name Removed] was horrible and rude and they all yelled at us. Terrible experience, NEVER TRUST THIS COMPANY. They don’t have a presence in Google for a reason. Definitely live up to their name! – These guys are fantastic and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to everyone I know. Gautier and Patrik were polite, courteous and so efficient. Movers were great – Eduardo and Henry were absolutely fantastic, our stuff barely fit in the truck but they got it all in and nothing was damaged, they were fantastic.

Its always a weird feeling letting strangers into your house to handle your possessions but I felt completely at ease with Jeremy and his assistant in charge.

Will 100% use them again for future moves and recommend them highly to anyone looking for a reliable and affordable moving company.

Overall they were pretty accurate but the 'guys" on the day were exceptional. Nothing was too hard for Jordan, David, Justin & Jeremy. All really fun but took significant care. Exceptionally well coordinated. Nothing was damaged in this roughly 10 hour job involving 2 trucks. Would definitely recommend.

Easy from start to finish – We used Top Removals to pack our 3 bedroom house (right down to wrapping the cups!), to store all our belongings in their storage facility for 3 months and then to move them all in to our new house. Very professional! – Top Removals came highly recommended by our local community hub. The boys, Jordan and Jeremy arrived on time in a truck bigger than Texas, prepared and ready to work! They were very polite, communicated well and more importantly, extremely careful! We had fresh paint and carpet in our new property and they relocated the entire contents of our house without leaving a single mark anywhere!
