We couldn’t be happier with Top Removals. Nothing was too difficult for Silver and Edwin, they took the stairs and the heat in their stride with a smile on their face. They were bang on time, super speedy, careful with our stuff, and just all round nice guys. Definitely highly recommended!

the movers ignored this completely and unnecessarily took many small items — causing delays and extra charges. Even worse, they moved at a noticeably slow pace, took frequent visible breaks, and one of them was even seen taking selfies during the job.

We were told midway through the move that only 45 mins to 1 hour remained, yet the job dragged on for another two hours, bringing the total to an absurd 6 hours — for a job that previously took 3 hours with more items. We also noted that one mover admitted he had “never completed a move in 3 hours” — which really makes you question their advertised time estimates.

On top of the poor service, our freezer door was left with a large dent, and the walls of the apartment were scratched during the move. The movers were dismissive when we raised concerns and made inappropriate comments instead of offering a solution.

We were ultimately pressured into paying the full invoice on the spot, despite the job not being completed with any urgency or respect for our time or belongings. We’ve since lodged a formal complaint and requested a fair refund, but if it’s not resolved, we’ll be escalating to the Ombudsman and Consumer Affairs.

Avoid this company if you value your time, your belongings, and professional service. We absolutely would not recommend them.

Don’t be fooled by the price – The price per hour was slightly less than other removalists I’ve used. But they were much slower too so it ended up costing a great deal more than expected overall. Lied to me about price - will never use again – I booked in Top Removals for an early morning move and asked for a discount since they required a 2 hour minimum but my time required would be a maximum of 1 hour. was told that I would receive a confirmation email with the discounted price. I did not receive that confirmation, the movers came the next day at the earlier time and requested payment in full. They had no trace of any discount. I assumed the customer service rep I spoke with just made an honest mistake, so I paid in full and said I would seek a rebate from the customer service rep later. I had to chase them down for 3 weeks, at which time they said they had no record of this and that I was incorrect. The customer service rep that I was initially in contact with actually refused to speak with me over the phone and they kept my money. This is an abhorrent customer service and experience. They were dishonest and I do not recommend them for that reason.

Silver and Wassim were excellent. They arrived on time, came well prepared, and worked efficiently to get the job done quickly. They stayed positive throughout and even had a laugh along the way. I’d highly recommend them to anyone looking for a fast and reliable moving company, and I’ll definitely be referring them to friends.

Extremely personable and keen to assist in any way. They worked hard from the minute they walked into the house she was moving out of and worked extra hard at the new home. They were confronted with difficult moving rules, but not one complaint. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Amazing would hire again !! – Had the best experience with max and silver. First time using a moving company and these boys were great. They got in and out of the old house within a couple of hours. They used all proper equipment to protect my furniture and belongings. They brought everything into my new place in a very quick manner.
