trading for misleading information on total tools website . We are buying a product which abide by your customer guarantee return policy not once we buy and you said that unfortunately this only for online customer . In conclusion I would never spend a dollar in this store but rather go sydney tools or bunning instead .

True information and right advice – I bought drill doctor on last visit and pick some hex drive from back order, as she explain difference between own brand and genuine brand and ask me usage to choose right product. Knowledgeable staff, good experience – Unlike most tool stores, the staff member actually knew what he was talking about! He explained the difference between the models they had and listened to my requirements. No Responsibility at Auburn – Purchased a $1200 DeWalt Thicknesser in April 2018. Used very little and only on Western Red Cedar. suggest approx 40 x3m lengths of timber in total had pushed through the machine. 2 months ago smoke started coming from the motor and it stopped. them for a week so dropped in and was told that the service center had rung and the repairs would be done under warranty. Surprized to receive a call a week later and be told the machine was damaged because the blades were blunt and that caused the motor to burn out and the repair would cost $700. I questioned the person on the phone and he confirmed that he helped me take it out of my car and had commented that the unit was like brand new. He also said there was nothing they could do. I suggested that as they had taken my money they had an obligation under consumer law to follow the problem up with Dewalt. He said that was my job and not his. I asked for the Manager, he confirmed he was the Manager. I then again requested that he contact Dewalt Direct on his customer's behalf as this is pretty poor from an expensive piece of gear that the motor burns out with such little use. After some time he begrudgingly said he would enquire - That was some 5 weeks ago and he still has not contacted me back and I am still without a thicknesser. I have also contacted Dewalt directly and they are just as useless, after talking to 3 different people finally spoke with the Warranty Manager who was going to follow up with the service center - That was over a week ago and still no response. I have purchased lots of tools from TT over the years and this has Totally changed my view on the business. If you have a problem with something they sell - expect them to wipe there hands and say- Not my problem you are on your own.

Great range of non chinese made tools – Went to get some Boilermaking and Plumbing tools.I try not to buy chinese made tools as they are poor quality and constantly being replaced.Found alot of Australian and USA Made. Show details

particular, Elspeth was amazingly helpful and went above and beyond to ensure that my product was delivered before my flight. The team were highly responsive and kept me fully updated on my order's progress. As the courier unfortunately did not pick up my order on the day I was due to fly out, the store staff delivered the radio themselves. To receive this radio in time for my friend's birthday was super important and the team genuinely cared about that! I would definitely recommend this service.
