the store, but when I arrived, there were whole shelves emptied. I went in to buy some router bits, and there was not a single router bit for sale. Several metres of shelf were just empty. This was repeated right across the store. In more recent visits I've found it hard to get advice on particular products and have also found their range to be wanting. I went in yesterday to buy some sanding discs for a 125mm orbital sander and - apart from a bulk pack of various grades of some cheap brand of disks - they only had one brand of disks and only in a limited range of grades. This hasn't been a one-off. I've been in at least twice in the last few months looking for a specific product you'd normally expect them to stock, but they either didn't stock it or were out of stock.

The last straw was when I went in yesterday. The Queensland COVID restrictions were still in force requiring the wearing of masks indoors. They had a sign on the door advised that masks were mandatory for entry. But not a single staff member was wearing a mask. I saw two with the masks around their neck and one with no mask at all.

Total Tools is competing with a coupe of local tool shops and my experience so far is that I can see no reason to favour this store over their competition. I'd probably go back for a special sale. Maybe. But I can't see Total Tools being my store of choice into the future.

Boxing Day No Sale – After seeing that Total Tools had an up to 20% off Boxing Day sale I headed in bright and early to grab a bargain, after entering the shop I found that there was practically nothing on sale. Friendly Honest and helpful Staff – Went in looking for an M class Vac. They didnt have any in stock, as there is a major shortage. The staff were honest and up front with the problem and gave a realistic time frame when they might get in. I also needed help with a bosch part, and the staff member went out of his way to help. Show details

Great and cheerful service – Doing what they say they will do. Called in the afternoon prior to visit and asked for a stock check on an item, not only did the young lad check the computer but also went and checked the shelf, then put two aside for me. Drove down from the tablelands the next day and sure enough they were set aside with my name on them, no fuss. Cheerful service from the bloke at the register. Definitely will be back. Show details

Great to see the big boss serve me after a trade night, store was a bomb site but he still had the p – The big boss serve me and was very patient with my distressed & broken chainsaw. He , after a huge tradie night befour hand sorted me a new chainsaw chain , installed it on the front counter in front of many other customers and sent me on my way.

Yesterday we spent $233.00 worth of tools the store manager ( a lady she went through the discounts and explained some were not available and another was ok her attitude was well received (I have dealt with this lady before very pleasant person).
