tool broken but no replace tool policy. send to repare for couple weeks no lend tool policy. left no tool to work for couple weeks. better shop from Bunnings instead

False Advertising – This store touts that they have a price match guarantee. When I requested one I was told they couldn’t match it because the competitor didn’t have a physical store in QLD, when I told them that the competitor did in fact have a store in QLD, their next excuse was that they would not make any money on the sale if they price matched. What is the point of advertising lowest price guaranteed if you won’t honour it?

Great service – Came into the store to purchase mitre saw, was served pretty much straight away, was helped with my stupid questions, and given advise on the saw blades. Couldn’t fault the service. I will be back to this store to get more stuff when needed. Show details

Performs very well – Purchased Milwauke door lock install kit. Had read reviews on line which is why I purchased. Easy to use and allowed me to readily install new locks into existing doors which required larger diameter holes. The clamping detail simple to use and effective. Had to figure out how to fit the 25 dia core hole to the drill attachment (needed to unscrew fitting for the 54 dia and reverse). Did 4 sets in the afternoon, another 2 sets to go.  Show details

Poor Service – This is the second time we have come to this store to purchase and we have received absolutely no help despite having lots of staff on. help. If it was the first time this had happened we probably would have given them the benefit of the doubt but it was the same the last time we came in so we will go and spend our money at Bunnings instead of trying to support another store.

Overpriced or Not Fit For Purpose – Total Tools are greedy and it shows. I purchased a SABER: Belt, Disc and Sander manufactured for Total Tools, for several hundred it's is utterly unfit for purpose. after a week they told me to pick it up again, "that just how they are" they said, and that I was not to be offered a refund. For this reason I advise avoiding them. More generally speaking, in my opinion Total Tools charge absolute top dollar for their mediocre products. And they spin their products as top shelf when they're not, they're low to mid range trade quality (NOT necessarily built to break). But compared to Bunnings' low standards, any tool fit for purpose, and therefore not "DIY", looks good. And that's how Total Tools survive, by pretending they're high quality, when in fact Bunnings has trained us to accept low quality at ever rising prices.

Great range and great customer service – This is now my local go-to store. Much better than Bunnings as it has real brands such as festool, proper AEG products etc... Timing is everything. Right place right time – Needed some 32mm c-brads, searched online,, found in stock at East Brisbane. Walked into the tables of stocktake items, walked out with more than I bargained. Nice deals, great friendly staff, placed my pooch Gordon on the Milwaukee box at checkout while I paid. Good solid tool at a bargain price – This is a 1500 watt tool for under $100. I’ve given this hammer drill a flogging and its ready for more. Its not a big name brand but I could go through three of these and still have change in my pocket at the cost of a big name brand tool. It’s the best value by far within its class. Show details

The sales guy was good, he really wanted to help – I went in looking to see what I could get out of the M12 specials, I left with 2 products and 2 batteries. Happy shopper in the end and money well spent, just over $400 for a Hackzall and a circular saw with a 2.0Ah battery for each. Show details
