Total Tools QLD, Ipswich

Went to Ipswich store to exchange a bottle of gas for my mig welder. Woman on counter lacked customer service skills. Took one look at me and said “ nup haven’t got any. Not until tomorrow” . And that was it. Didn’t offer to check if other stores had any . No sorry I can’t help you or anything. Walked out and went to Sydney tools down the road. Total tools has lost a customer.

I have been dealing with total tools for a number of years. They absolutely excelled in my latest dealing with them. I was after a generator during cyclone Alfred. Total customer service and the guys could not have been more helpful. I'm sorry I don't know their names, but a big shout out to the two guys who went above and beyond in their service to people who needed it. Well done guys.

no service, stores not connected so if you buy from one store you can't get refund from dodgy products from another – Bought a milwaukee pump from the Richlands store, the pump worked for about 3 minutes and then stopped working. does not give me any confidence to buy from them again. If you share a name with other stores and you sell all the exact same items you should have no problems communicating with other stores. Lucky I didn't buy from another of their shops while out and about somewhere further from home.

Sold me incorrect product – Went in to buy staples for my staple gun, they didn't stock the correct size. What they did stock though was a flash new Stanley staple gun, which I purchased, the salesperson also sold me staples "to suit". and that Total Tools do not, in fact, stock the staples for this staple gun. The same staple gun that they sell. The Stanley Sharpshooter TR45, they only stock staples to fit the Sharpshooter TR100 and above which use a Narrow Crown, where the gun they sold me needs a wide crown.

Missing Part, still waiting almost a month later – Purchased a Panther toolbox. Realised it was missing a lock and store said it would get one in. After two visits and no contact, still waiting. Am hopeful after female staff member appeared sincere in following this up. Show details

Very helpful – Once again, Bruce was super helpful and great to deal with. But the total tools app is a pain. I needed to show proof of purchase for a warranty issue and sent a message to get a PIN number to access the app 3 times in about 20 minutes. I never got it. Just browsing and found 1/4" drive 1/4", 3/8" & 1/2" socket adaptors – Just looking thru the store and found the drives I needed. They are good for doing small bolts and fasteners with the 1/4" drive gun, which I had bought from the same store. Show details
