So disappointed in this generator. I.like many other caravaners buy generators for the times you are off grid and need the power for an AC or Heating. I have a diesel heater so I only need mine occasionally for AC if it is above 35c. I store it correctly, I service it as required and I run it often even when not using it. So I have had it for 9… Read more
months, used it twice, above 45c at the moment so perfect time to start the generator whilst we are off grid. Will not power anything, even when it is unplugged it still runs for a few minutes and shows 'overload' and cuts out. The one time I actually need it and it has faulted. Looked up on line and this appears to be a common issue with Gentrax. If it happens often, why the hell haven't they fixed the d#mn issue. I will get it repaired under warranty and then dump it. I need a generator I can rely on, not this pie e of rubbish. I really liked all of the features of this generator, but not willing to have it non operational when actually needed. PS: it has only done 5 hours work.
Update over two weeks later. Worst customer service ever. I recommend if you are looking for a generator for your caravan, camping or other activity, do not choose Gentrax. I understand that at times things go wrong, but when you struggle to get hold of customer service until the go to publish a review, and the reseller cannot even get hold of them after .multiple attempts, just goes to show they have no customer focus at all. I.have now asked for a full refund, we will see how that goes.
Here we are three weeks later. The seller still cannot Gentrax via the customer phone number, nor the public contact phone number. My correspondence to them does not get me anywhere. The generator was returned to them over a week ago and still sits in the freight company depot. I reiterate my comments above, do not buy this product
Not a good shopping experience. Staff chatting when I entered. No offer of assistance. Check out guy grumpy with hay fever. Felt bad but just a crappy experience Show details

Awesome service and product knowledge! – Purchased a 25 bit Cobalt Drill set by P&N with "bonus" countersink attachment from Thebarton TOTAL TOOLS store. As usual the customer service was excellent. The shop assistant put on hold their last drill bit set until I picked it up from them. The drill bit set normally sells for $125.00 so I was pleased to purchase for only $99.00 with bonus… Read more
16.5 mm HSS countersink. The set is made in China, but don't let that fool you, as P&N have a very good reputation for drill bits and cutting tools. The set comes packaged in a plastic index box that presents well, while protecting all the drill bits and countersink from any possible damage. I'm extremely happy with my purchase!
Great friendly team – Friendly and helpful service to get the best deal available. Thanks Howard, appreciated. Left store after first visit happy & will be back soon. Nice people here at Lonsdale. Show details
Ordered items online. They packed to items in too small a box resulting in the socket rail being bent.

NIGHTMARE – Never leave bad reviews but I brought a Saber generator which broke a couple days in. I returned it to get fixed and informed the front counter that I needed it fixed urgently. Rang a week later to see what was happening and they forgot to send it to the repair shop. When I got it back a couple days later it broke again. A repair team came out to… Read more
site and fixed it only for it to break again later that day. It's been a nightmare to return. I was told I'd have to wait for the repair team to send in notes. Over a week later I went in & the guys at the shop told me the repair teams note said the generator wasn't powerful enough to run my unit which was rubbish because the repair man told me on site the generator was nearly 6 times more powerful than I needed plus I could run my unit on eco mode and petrol would hardly move after using the generator for over 4 hours so could easily take the power. The guy on the phone assured me if I brought it back they'd do me a good deal on one of there other generators and that turned out to be a lie. I just had to pay the difference for the new machine. Lost a massive contract because of the stuff around. Will never be shopping at a Total Tools again!
Didn't want to spend so much, glad I did – Looked at MANY different brands of battery operated garden equipment over the last three months. Have looked at Ego for three or four years but always reluctant to spend so much. Attended a number of locations selling Ego equipment, but I had done a lot of research on the internet and the sales representatives fell well short of a good working… Read more
knowledge of the product. Even went to the last, well known store, where I purchased my last 4 stroke petrol mower but there wasn't a lot of repeat business enthusiasm. Went back to Total Tools, Windsor Gardens a couple of times and found the staff helpful, even purchased a bigger mower than I intended and bought some other Ego equipment as well. Used all the equipment today (mower, whipper snipper and edger), each tool did a great job. The mower picked up the debris even better than the not so old 4 stroke. Going to let my lawn grow even longer to give the mower a real work-out before sticking to my usual maintenance schedule. Well done to the staff.
Excellent Makita 18 Volt Router/Trimmer Package But Customer Service Was Better – The four stars above are my rating for the store - it's a good shop. More than happy with the Makita cordless router package, DRT 50ZJX2 - I'd done my research and knew what I was getting. It comfortably does the work I want it to do - I'm still a learner when it comes to working with timber. Opted for the Makita 18 volt router packaged with… Read more
accessories over a Bosch 12 volt trimmer, GKF 12V-8. I have batteries for both makes/voltages and I'm very impressed with the four Bosch 12 volt tools I already have, particularly the small planer.
The Bosch 12 volt trimmer is brilliantly designed but a bit limited in its applications. The Makita router/package is well designed (nothing brilliant) but broad in its applications (in part because it's a higher voltage tool). The Bosch trimmer is expensive in that context at $299 against the $359 Makita kit.
Better than the Makita tool I bought was the first class service provided by Jamie Agnew at Total Tools Wingfield. Helpful, friendly but not familiar, DIDN'T CALL ME "MATE", spoke Australian English - not bogan, knew what he was talking about and offered honest advice. Someone should buy Jamie a pint of quality beer, say Coopers Sparkling Ale.

Good service – I recently bought a Century boat battery after some research on-line. It was pure fluke that when buying tools at Total Tools in Elizabeth I asked the question "do you sell marine batteries"? To my surprise I found out that this business had just become linked with Auto Pro and that they could supply via that business. Total Tools were having a… Read more · 1
store discount sale on tools at that time and I was able to purchase the battery through them, cheaper than Auto Pro could sell it to me direct! To the young guy at Total Tools I say thank you for your marvellous effort.
worth every cent – Not always the cheapest, but the few dollars extra you pay seems to go towards quality staff. Every time I walk in I'm greeted, even when they're busy. If I look lost, guarantee one of them will approach me and not only tell me where a product is, but 9 time out of 10 they'll walk me to it. A few times I've forgotten my glasses and they'll read… Read more
the product details so I buy the right thing. I've walked in with random nuts and they've found the right fitting tool each time. Always my first stop for tools. For convenience I went to a different store a few years ago, and it was chalk and cheese. The staff at Elizabeth are dead set legends and most importantly the times my wife has gone in there she's never been made to feel bad because "she didn't understand a tool".....and even if I don't understand, we're never treated as idiots. Legends!
Great staff, excellent service – Excellent advice on the product I ended up purchasing also great knowledge on products and most of all excellent service from all staff. Show details

Broken TTi Torque Wrench – It appears that when you write a review on a Total Tools product, and you don't give it a 5-star rating the moderator won't show it. The product in mention is the TTI 1/2inch SD Torque Wrench 70-350NM ARD250 and after using it 15 times, it no longer clicks at torque setting. Unfortunately, the next time i needed to use it, it was out of warranty. Not even the manufacture has confidence in its products when only giving a 12mth warranty.

Go to Bunnings – My tool has been off for repair for months and I'm wondering if it is ever coming back. So I'm out of pocket for a jackhammer, it has been shipped off for repair and the parts never come. They keep saying a couple of weeks and we should see it. They won't give me a refund, and I don't have the tool. Got 5 weeks of use and nearly 4 months without… Read more

I was looking for a toolbox for my son, who is an apprentice diesel mechanic. As a single mum on a tight budget, I did a lot of research—making phone calls and sending emails to compile a list of all the tools he needed. I visited several tool shops before heading to TOTAL TOOLS at Windsor Gardens. The team there couldn’t have been more helpful.… Read more
Even though I arrived with my long list in hand (and probably looked like a handful walking through the doors), they were incredibly supportive, patient, and respectful of my budget. After choosing what I thought was the right toolbox, my son later let me know it was too narrow to fit some of the larger tools he uses on trucks. He spoke with the team directly, and they went above and beyond to find him a fantastic toolbox and everything he needed—right from the original list I provided. And to top it all off, there was even a BBQ included! What truly stood out was how well they listened to my concerns and made sure we got the right gear without compromising on quality or price. I can’t thank the team at Windsor Gardens enough for their outstanding help and support. Highly recommended!
A very poor experience – I whent into the store to purchase something with a $100 giftcard. I was overcharged for the item and it was a clear error as the shop assistants acknowledged this but laughed in jest as it was only by one dollar. I insisted that i was refunded the money as on principle it was incorrect. Both shop assistants were very mocking as in to suggest i… Read more
just should except the situation and move along. I was really disappointed in the whole experience. The customer service was horrendous and i truly believe both those blokes are tarnishing the companies image.
Perfectly helpful – On arrival I was greeted with a friendly hello and a smile and can I help you with anything. While browsing through the store several members of staff asked if I needed assistance and when I did they got me exactly what I was looking for. Super happy customer

Five star service – Huge thank you to the team at Elizabeth Total Tools. First timer – I went with n looking for a E-Torx female ratchet set to work on my old Mercedes. I don’t know anything about tools and/cars, but I wanted to try and save myself $700 by doing some simple servicing. item, but the staff were helpful, found me some reasonably priced options, and were even able to price compare and give me the pros and cons without trying to upsell me.
To end a long story I was able to equip myself to work comfortably under the hood for under $100. I successfully replace a couple of minor parts and my car is running tons better for it.
I will definitely be going back to set myself up for some bigger jobs.
