site and fixed it only for it to break again later that day. It's been a nightmare to return. I was told I'd have to wait for the repair team to send in notes. Over a week later I went in & the guys at the shop told me the repair teams note said the generator wasn't powerful enough to run my unit which was rubbish because the repair man told me on site the generator was nearly 6 times more powerful than I needed plus I could run my unit on eco mode and petrol would hardly move after using the generator for over 4 hours so could easily take the power. The guy on the phone assured me if I brought it back they'd do me a good deal on one of there other generators and that turned out to be a lie. I just had to pay the difference for the new machine. Lost a massive contract because of the stuff around. Will never be shopping at a Total Tools again!

TIG Welder; Perfect for me! – I needed a TIG welder for thin aluminium. The guys took me through the options available. It took me ages to think everything over and nut out exactly what I needed. Bad advice, accessory doesn’t fit – Guy told the short nozzle would fit the blower, it does, but doesn’t stay in as doesn’t have the side lugs. Gotta go back to the store and swap or return it for a $9 part.....

Somewhat disappointed – I purchased the good products from sydneytools and then went to buy it. boxingday reward, but it’s not here. I only got two extra batteries. I believe I can get two extra batteries if I buy them at any other store, because they are given by makita. This time I bought at Total Tools, I just felt that it was a very ordinary shopping, and there was no surprise, and there was one tool I wanted to buy, which was not in the store. He gave me another different model, but I didn’t want which one. Yes, the clerk told me that if I don’t want it, I won’t get the extra battery. And if I buy from sydneytools this time, I can get two extra batteries, a gift worth $79, and a gift card of about $200, and all the tools I want, but I’m in total tools, I Only got two extra batteries and had to buy a tool that I didn't want.

Worst customer service from manager – Living 130km away I called to discuss laser detectors which they were no help with what so ever. So forced to reaserch them and finding the one I needed, the website said they were in stock so I travelled 1.5 hours to the store to find they were not. incompatable unit which I found had been opened and used already. So now delayed in doing my job loosing money and time, the manager could not care less and his additude was appalling blaming everything on me from the start, instead of simply solving the issue. Some of the worst service I have ever received, they were not professional or knowledgeable like they advertise. Dont waist your time and go elsewhere

Great service and talked through some of the pro’s/con’s on brushless vs brushed to get a good balance between longevity and price.
