Carrum Downs Total Tools - Faulty Products – I bought Ego power tools i.e. Multi Tool Kit and Brush cutter on 27/8/2024 from Carrum downs, Victoria store. Within 2 weeks tools are not working and unsafe.

I contacted Total tools store and they told they can only repair/replace the item; there is NO refund policy.

The business is taking away consumer basic rights to reject faulty, unsafe products and get the refund. Staff are rude and made racial comments also.

I will be reporting to Victorian Consumer Affairs Victoria and ACC .

Useless staff – I went to look for a base plate replacement for my dwalt sander. There was none at store and staff didn’t tried to help me. I went to Braeside where they weee really helpful, locating where it was in stock and ordering the item for me. Carrum downs never ever again

Not helpful staff – Thought staff were not helpful Asked if that what was the best price they could do was told the tickeded price was it . The same article was $20 dollars cheaper at Sydney tools but that would mean another u turn and stuffing around . Will buy from Sydney tools up the road next time Show details

no notification of item arriving – I have found that when I have ordered a tool from total tools I dont get a call when item arrives. When they first opened service was better and call where made.

Saber drill press – Bought one of rheir Saber drill pressws for work. What a piece of rubbish. The chuck is so oit of alignment you cannot drill a round hole. Complainwd and thwy replaced the whole drill top. Same thing. Terrible wobble in the drill. Poorly machined piece of equipment. Complained again and got a bad attitude from them. Don't buy Saber, made in China.

Top notch – Took my 23 y/o down to buy some plumbing tools, got enormous help from Rob grant in the best selection of tools for he’s budget An absolute champ. Cheers Brett Crawford Show details

Needed deep 36mm impact socket urgently – Rang Carrum-downs store, and inquired, availability of tool and price. Was able to purchase 36mm deep impact socket, very pleased with Total Tools, customer service and stock of items, although I was quoted $36-00 and item actually cost me, $38-00.
