Terrible customer service at Kilsyth store – Bought a spanner set from them, and within 2 months one of the internal ratchets broke. Went back to organise a repair or refund, and they told me they couldn't do anything about it (despite it being a defective product and having a receipt). Told me they'd get onto the manufacturer and get back to me... 3 weeks later, heard nothing, went back… Read more

in. They'd done nothing to follow up on it, and claimed they'd get onto the manufacturer (again)... refused to refund or replace the set despite having the receipt. Don't really have time to keep following them up on this - suffice to say, terrible customer service - hate it say it, but you'd be better off going to Bunnings.

Warranty wrestle – Two warranty experience have both gone pear shaped. 1. Cracked mitre saw fence; 3 months, eventually got the part. All calling around and work done by me. 2. Drill; repaired under warranty. $35 “service charge” got “lost in the system”. Refunded in cash, because “the system” couldn’t hand its own cluster f$!k, after much confusion and phone calls. N.B. Okay range but floor staff are pretty useless – I mostly found what I needed, eventually. Zero assistance from floor staff who basically ignored me during the 30 minutes or so I was walking the aisles. When I did approach a staff member to finally pay I was met with rudeness and arrogance, and made to feel as though I was interrupting their chat with each other.
