excuses about a "fuel crisis"—while Sydney Tools fulfilled a separate EGO order for me in just 3 days—I was finally told my item was obsolete. The store claimed the supplier was sending an "upgraded" model in its place.
The replacement unit (LB6150E) is an objective downgrade in every category:
- Performance: I ordered 1105 m³/h volume / 290 km/h velocity. I was given 1045 m³/h / 241 km/h. That is a 17% drop in wind speed.
- Inclusions: The model I paid for included a Flat Nozzle and a Shoulder Strap. This "upgrade" excludes both, leaving me with a weaker tool and fewer accessories.
Calling a lower-spec, stripped-back model an "upgrade" just because it's a newer SKU is misleading. I have kept the box sealed and am demanding the LB7650E (the only actual performance equivalent) or a full refund of my $299 in credits.
I tried to be a loyal customer and use my credits, but I’ve been met with systemic delays and misleading information. Never again.

A Problem Afterwards – I purchased a $50 gift card for my son and paid for it in store at the time as per normal. Trade quality product at a great price – Great service. Was welcomed at the door and asked how they could help. I told them my intentions for what i needed and they pointed me to the exact product that suited my needs
Gift Vouchers.....Don't even bother – I was gifted a voucher for my birthday. I thought, beauty, I'll order my tools online, then go in and pick them up to save time. First off, I received an email with my voucher number and pin saying that I am ready to use the voucher. So I selected my items and hit the online checkout. Only to find my voucher could not be used. store, picked out the items and went to the counter, handed my voucher over and found that it was invalid. I was then asked to wait so the store contact tech support as they "apparently" had never seen one of these vouchers before. After a 10 minute wait I was told that there was a 48 hour cooling off period, which was fine. 48 hours later I returned to pick up my items only to find that the voucher was still invalid. Another 10 minute phone call revealed that the person who purchased me the voucher was asked to provide a photo of their drivers license to prove their identity to whomever Total Tools bank is. The email containing this information went to a spam folder. (In all fairness. It looked and was written as if it was a phishing scam) So I again made a special trip into store for nothing. I returned the following business day after the email had been responded to to again find my voucher was invalid, a third wasted trip. This time I spent at least 30 minutes in store, again waiting for tech support. The staff in store said that they would contact me once the voucher was ready to be used. I received a call as soon as I had left the store and arrived back at work saying I can come and collect my items. The original purchase has not yet had an email stating that their identity has been removed from Total Tools database.
All in all, a very disappointing experience and I will no longer be a repeat customer of Total Tools.

solder – found what i was wanting , after scoring around mildura shops , found it at totl tools plenty of range easy to find.
Excellent fast service great staff – Easy to use as I ordered online creating an invoice to be paid some items to a few weeks to arrive but I was told this in advance.
Not impressed – The third time I have been left feeling dissatisfied with the service and communications of staff. I like to try to form a relationship with staff instead of shopping online however their lack of communication between each other and clarity of interaction needs to be greatly improved
HRD tool chest – very pleased with the quality of the product but very disappointed that there is not a provision to mount the handle on either side of the trolley.all the other major brands carried by total tools have the option of hand mounting on either side. quality of service at Mildura was very professional.
Great staff – Went to purchase Milwaukee power tools and the staff was excellent help and had excellent knowledge of the products they sell
