Bad experience for tool repairing – My tool was sent to Moorabbin store for repairing, after repaired they suppose to charge me more money than we agreed on the phone, and it's broken again within the warranty period, they still keep charging me for fixing the issue. Show details

Both a steel fixing belt, that a paid in full. Has to be ordered, waited for a week. Went in and wasn't there – I both a probuild steelfixing belt, wasn't on the store. different brand and a bit more expensive. I then had to pay extra for something I didn't want and paid for. Cos of my work I needed it. Asap where told them from the start. So not hap poy one bit and I'm annoyed that I had to pay for it.

Honestly, an excellent store always had what I needed. I had some problems with click-and-collect orders, but that’s just dealing with suppliers and retail in general. I’ve always had a positive experience with the employees. It’s good that they have Sydney tools as a competition. I would highly recommend Total Tools. Purchase of cordless drill/driver – Initially I rang the store. The salesperson was very helpful, helping me choose a suitable drill that was in my budget. On arrival at the store the salesperson that greeted me was again very helpful and supplied the item that I wanted. Even asked if I needed a drill bit. Which of course I did. for pointing this out! The discs were then swapped out without fuss for the right type to suit the grinder.

It was my fault but this helps me not to have to waste time having to go and buy more when it arrives due to it not fitting.

or two but it was under $500.00 i queried the Gentleman out there that this seemed like a great deal, he agreed and i did not hesitate to pick it up and went into the store to also buy a set of deep 1/2 inch sockets, another win TTI brand on sale $49.00 normally $89.95. At the counter , when making small talk i must have said foolishly this is a great price which lead to the guy on the counter spending 5 minutes checking all codes and what ever else to then tell me this is obviously marked wrong and it should be $899 and he refused to sell it to me at the marked clearance price. I was disappointed and im sure they could see that, i didnt kick up a stink but possibly could have but was persuaded to buy another alternative kit for $669 not sale price with a free 5 amp battery . At the check out i got charged $89.00 for the sockets, had to then get a refund for the balance Had every one behind the counter making me feel like i was being difficult. Left the store thinking did i buy the right thing. Got home found the free 5 amp battery was 3 yet on the receipt was a 4 amp. False advertising , bad service, bad organisation. I will not go back to the Moorabbin store but have found no problem with other TT's Never going back.

My go to shop for tools – I’m happy with total tools normally. When I returned this item guy was extremely rude. Disappointing as he didn’t have enough money in the till for the refund. Shouldn’t be there on a Sunday if going to be like that. Hopefully this is a one off.
