Very poor communication and service- day four of rescheduling
Today will be the fourth time our package has had to be rescheduled for pick up. This company has cost our business significant delays & money. Each time the package has not been picked up we have had to spend 20 minutes plus on the phone waiting for answers; to reschedule to another day which again has not been picked up (meaning the person on the other end has now had to stay home for 3 days). I have requested to speak with management now 3 times with no response. We have not had any answers as to why the delay. Communication is poor and serv...ice has been poor. Transdirect organise for other companies to do the transportation; they seem to have no ability to communicate and correspond efficiently (if at all) with the company they organise the shipment through. We will definitely not be going through this company again and suggest other don't if they do not want significant delays, product loss (yes another shipment was severely damaged) and poor service.

I've had two deliveries with Transdirect recently. Each time the package was picked up on time and delivered promptly in perfect condition. The tracking data was accurate and helpful. Highly recommended.
Pick up, packaging and delivery of fragile tech components between Sydney and Newcastle. easy to arrange, cost was appropriate, communication was timely, packaging was perfect and delivery was prompt! great service. Have used Transdirect before and will do again. have never been disappointed.
First time users and very pleased
I had a 40kg package that was awkward in size. Australian Post wouldn't accept it and courier companies like pack'n'send were overly priced. Transdirect was cost effective and easy to use with a lot of options from different courier in one portal. Will definitely use again.
Horrible post-delivery support for damaged goods
Consignment damaged by courier. It's been over 2 months since I filed the insurance claim directly with Transdirect, yet nowhere closer to actually receiving a payout and meanwhile the goods are unusable. I would never bother with Transdirect again, lots of other booking sites that sells insurance directly from the courier.
On Monday 18/5 I booked a parcel pickup with TransDirect. I received email confirmation that it would be collected the following day and that the ETA for delivery was 22/5. The item was not collected 19/5 so I rebooked for 20/5. The item was not collected so I rebooked for 21/5. Phoned Transdirect on the 21/5 and they confirmed that the item would definitely be collected that day. The item was not collected. I waited at home the whole day for 3 days. Phoned Transdirect on 22/5 and the person wasn't particularly helpful and had a 'take or leave ...it' kind of attitude but also then reassured it would be collected that day. Phoned the actual courier company to confirm they were aware of the picked up and to confirm they would be collecting the item. They didn't appear to be aware of the pickup but then said they would collect it. Someone did come collect the parcel on 22/5. The item was not showing as collected / tracked on Transdirect or the couriers system. Emailed both companies over the weekend. The courier company replied yesterday (26/5) to ask for a description of the box (which is very concerning). Transdirect emailed today with no empathy at all and said that it was collected by a regional agent and it will only be tracked once handed over to the carrier. Which means that after 5 days (after collection) and 9 days (from booking), my parcel is still not even with the carrier. It needs to go from regional Queensland to Victoria so my parcel might arrive next week sometime but I am not feeling confident at all that Transdirect/the courier company actually know where my parcel actually is. Really not worth the little saving going with Transdirect. Next time I will save myself time and stress by just going with Australia Post. Wish I had read these 1 * reviews before deciding to go with Transdirect - I should have cancelled once the item was not collected the first day.

Used them to get an envelope containing a contract sent to me. No problem there. 2 days later I booked them to return the signed contract to th conveyancer.
Weeks later, I receive an email, stating that I under declared the item and that I d be fined $108 dollars. Between receiving and reading the email, was about an hour. In that time they had already taken the money out of my account. No proof was given, no chance to dispute, nothing.
I sent them an email asking for clarification and stating that my parcel ...was an A4 envelope. It took em 3 days to even reply to anything. Then they said they d look into it and later on sent a mail, saying that the courier had measured and weighed my parcel and that I measured 80cm x 60cm x 26 cm and therefore the fine.
Terrible customer service
I booked a pick up for 21/05 but no one came. I had to reschedule for today, 22/05 and again, no collection. I called them asking for help since I’m leaving the city tomorrow and needed my stuff gone before it. The attendant kept saying that couldn’t help me, that he didn’t have any number from the courier to confirm my pick up and the only thing they could do is give a refund. The thing is, it wasn’t about money, it was about a service that they said they could do on time and they couldn’t. Now my stuff still here and I don’t know what to do with it!
Helps themselves to your Credit card.
I will not use or recommend to any of our customers or friends to use Transdirect services after been ripped off on the last delivery was quoted $50.19 for delivery of a box to our home based business only to be charged extra $69.48 4 weeks later only found out about the extra charge by checking our credit card statement still haven't received any invoice or paper for the $69.48, and then finally given the reason my home based business was not a commercial place, how can a charge go from $50 to $120 ??? Try to sort it out with them but they couldn't give a poo.
A reasonable freight aggregator
I am a sender and this company is pretty reliable on average. I still cannot do all my freight from one company, so still need Auspost, Sendle, and Fastway to get cheapest.

I paid $195.26 to Transdirect for the express delivery (1-2 working days) of an order from Harvey Norman. 8 days later I have still not received my parcel. I called Transdirect and spoke to [Name Removed] who was rude and who could not tell me exactly where my item was (despite tracking). She lied to me about the driver trying to pick up my parcel (I know this because I spoke to my Harvey Norman sales representative). When I commented that it would have been quicker to send my 5kg item via Australia Post, she said that, "They probably wouldn't...take an item with those dimensions," as if to say that I had no choice but to accept her shoddy customer service. She was not in the least bit concerned that I was dissatisfied with her service or the service of the company. Avoid Transdirect at all costs!!!!

I have used trans-direct on many occasions and they always turn up when they say they will and deliver on time. I cannot recommend them highly enough triple a plus service.
Fast, Economic & Straightforward!
Easy process from contact to Transdirect, them to provide a quote and for goods to be collected and delivered from Victoria to South Australia. Cost was substantially cheaper than Australia Post or our previous courier. Delivery could have possibly taken a day longer than we hoped, but for the service, price and goods arriving safely, we are extremely pleased overall.

Hi Transdirect, I've been waiting for a month now for a product I purchased from Brisbane, which was sent by the seller via Transdirect. I have contacted Transdirect, and your courier Fastway numerous times to get the product delivered without success. It has been an extremely frustrating experience and after a month's wait, I have never received the item. I was told by Transdirect a few times that I will be sent an update after following up with their courier but that never happened.

I have recieved email about "Under declared collection notification" about weight of package I sent via Transdirect.
I did weight 2 cartons (1 big and 1 small) as the size I declared about 38 kg.
And After the consignment was inspected, weighed and cubed by the Carrier, the corrected information is a Charged Weight of 89Kg.
It is unbelievable weight for 2 big cases and 3 small cases Dell which I won from auction. I can provide detail of items if you want. I would like to ask you send me any proof that you did re-weight the package then charging me $113 more directly in my account.

Not sure why you're asking me Bernie - I was the customer of Transdirect?? I'm not connected to the company so I can't answer your question.
One time out of the last 100+ times we've used them we've had a pick up didn't happen.
10 days after multiple follow-ups, and still no pick up.
Their final explanation was "no driver services that area", but I knew that to be false.
In the end, I left it / let the deal fall through.
