Scammers! Absolute sham company.
I booked Geraldton to perth flight through this service but our flight was cancelled 6 weeks ago and they did not tell us. The booking still been confirmed on their website. We had to book another flight elsewhere and forfeited a portion of our journey in Geraldton, which was a horrible experience. I have been trying for over 2 weeks to get a refund. They tried to shirk responsibility and said they have sent the cancellation email but they did not. I called up at least 8 times and havent received full refund let alone compensation. Customer ser...vice is useless and rude, and only say it is being processed. We cannot speak to a manager and the refund department said the request is being working. Worst experience ever. I think they just make a profit from people giving up. An extremely frustrating experience.
Absolutely horrendous service!
Cancelled my booking over a month ago. Called up at least a dozen times and sent over 10 emails with no response whatsoever. The customer service reps are extremely rude and refused to provide any information on the refund amount and hung up twice on me. Scammers! PLEASE DO NOT EVER USE their service again.

When you do happen to get in contact with customer service they barely speak English - and apparently they have no management there only contactable by email which is disgusting. I got hung up on 3 times and they miss spelt a passengers name on our flight which I had to get changed and they tried to charge me $270 AUD for them to change the letters over...I will never get flight tickets through this company ever again and I have made sure my family, friends and clients don't do the same thing. Utterly disappointed and disgusted in the people who work there, so inhumane - if I could give them a rating it definitely will not be 1 star it would be nothing. The company should really be shut down!

Do not purchase "Services"
Purchased their services, made it look like you get meals and seat selection. However this is something you request from them. It is unclear and a way to take advantage of their customers. This service is not for those services but to assist in your request. Just avoid this company and book directly with the airline.
Scammers! Do not use!
Falsely charged extra amount. When I rang customer service I was hung up on, not once, not twice but three times! Completely refused refund. Out of pocket $400+ with ZERO support from company. Disgusting.

Terrible terrible customer service. Over charged us for baggage when it was already included in the price. Phoned for a refund and was told it was impossible. Asked to speak to the manager or to make a formal complaint through their dissatisfaction process and was told they couldn’t help me and hung up.
Shocking company! DO NOT BOOK!!!
They advertised a price I went all the way through to final payment and screenshot the final amount so I was confirmed how much I was paying. Then they charged me an extra $50 out of my account!! I messaged them within two minutes of this occurring. They replied straight away telling me I was wrong even though I had screenshots! They then wouldn’t reply to my emails - I sent 8 emails in the space of a week!! They replied with some pathetic excuse and I’m still trying to get my refund! I then checked my flights and they have booked the wrong flight compared to my screenshot and what I need, I’ve asked numerous times to have it changed and requested the refund with still limited response and nothing achieved!!
Unhelpful and rude
I booked with travelgenio and had to change my flights due to family circumstances they told me that there was no way I could change my flight and that I was stuck there. After finding another flight (on the travelgenio website) I was told I had to cancel and re book. I am still waiting on my refund more than 3 months later and all I’m told is it is still processing. They have been very rude and not helpful.

They advertise the cheapest price.
This allows them to appear on listings for flight deal searches but when you go to pay it disappears after they have stolen your data passport number credit card etc. When you log back in cause you think it was a glitch. The special is no longer available in fact on the 2 occasions I tested the site gone up by over $100. Warning do not use them.
Terrible customer service
I've been waiting for response to cancel my ticket although I had insurance for my tickets. I already bought my new ticket and I literally spend an extra $1000 because of their careless customer support system. I couldn't get help from Qatar Airways because I choose another agency when I was getting my ticket. I will never use this company again!

Landed on this site from SkyScanner, went through the whole selection and payment steps at the end of the process the site told me the ticket was not available as places were no more available.
Booked the same ticked through an other travel web site, I found myself with two tickets as Travelgenio booked the same despite the failure notification.
They charge very high fees for payment by credit card
Use them if you are happy to pay very high fees on your credit card. I wanted to book a flight for total cost around AUD 830 and after entering in my credit card details the toat was just over AUD 900. The Worst Service Non-Provider
I purchased a Business class ticket from this mob back in Jan-2019. The flight was changed without notice. I was lucky to find out from my contact overseas not this mob. When I called them they said Oh sorry we did not know that !!! Your new flight is now such and such, that I already knew. Then the new flight was cancelled and again this mob failed to inform me. This was not a holiday trip, but a very important business trip. I ended up applying for a refund and still waiting for it, despite a dozen follow ups and empty promises. Quick to take...your money but good luck trying to get it back even when it is not your fault at all. Incredibly bad organisation to deal with. Extremely unprofessional and above all full of empty promises and lies. You have to keep chasing them, calling them and still no response. do not waste your time dealing with this mob. 2 tickets for the same flight
I was buying a flight and at the end of the process I received an error page that my flight is not available anymore. I tried again and it worked. I bought my tickets 1 day before the departure. Then one week after, I realised on my bank accounts that I've been invoiced 2 times from travelgenio and realized that I had 2 tickets for the same flights.
They answered me that the company cannot reimburse me because the claim was after the departure.
It's clearly a bug in their website and I have a screenshot to prove it but no they won't accept that because the air company refused to reimburse the flight. It's the problem of travelgenio and not the company so it's travelgenio who should reimburse me.
Terrible customer service
I booked 2 flights with travel genio. I had to make flight changes and I called a number of times and got hung up on and submitted my question through their customer service centre on their website with no response. I finally got through and they stated they couldn’t change my flight due to the airline not having any flights available the day I wanted to change them too. But on their website they had flights available that day with my airline, they flat out lied. Will not use this website again, they need to show some respect for their customers who pay to use their service.
Worst customer service- they keep hanging up on me
I have tried to call 9 times in the last 3 days and I’ve submitted 3 claims wirh no response. They constantly hang up on me! All I want to do is change my flights and literally pay them MORE money but I can’t because they hang up my calls and there’s no other way to contact them. I’ve submitted my online request to sort this from a week ago and they haven’t responded either. DO NOT USE THEM. My flight is next week and I’m running out of time.
Rices changed. Was told my payment wasnt accepted.....booked again through airline, then issued a ticket, at an unknown price with no receipt..... Will be starting legal action. Avoid these guys....you will not get a cheap fare and will likely be screwed like everyone else here
Do Not Use
After searching for flights via cheap flights.com i chose to purchase through travelgenio. Some how between the the 2 sites the dates changes and to my own fault i didn't double check at time of payment. Since realizing the error i have send numerous emails and called time and time again and am yet to even speak to a person let alone recieve any help in rectifying the problem. Scammers!
Appalling and Deceitful
I booked via Skyscanner and ended up with Travelgenio for flights back in March 2019. Two flights were involved to get me from Iran to the UK. The airline cancelled both flights and I had to make alternative arrangements directly with another airline. You would expect a refund with at least a month...nup !! It has taken me 5 months of constant emails and calls to get one segment refunded and now i anticipate receiving the second flight refunds within 2 weeks. This was only at the intervention of Turkish Airlines who followed it up and I go...t some positive action.....monies are still not in the bank but its getting closer.....5 months later. Travelgenio have constantly lied and delayed the process and I suspect they just want you to run out of energy. All the calls go through to a call centre in Spain.....the distance is bliss for their business model. Why Skyscanner tolerate such an appalling outfit is remarkable. TRAVELGENIO.......JUST DOnt IT !!!! They got 1 star only because I cannot give them O.

I have phoned twice. I want to alter my booking and leave 1 day earlier on a different flight. I've been told extra $200 to do this and put me on a flight that corresponds to my booking. I have found that there's one a day earlier that's a bit later and direct (suits me better as I'm not a good flyer) this is a cheaper flight. My flights in 8 months... Why do I need to pay 200 to alter. Really struggling to understand why you charge this huge fee... was then asking about cancelling that flight and told no refund at all. Would never ever recommend you. Will now miss the rehearsal for my son's wedding that we have only just been told was to occur.

There is no mail from any Cyndi in firstname.lastname@example.org in the last four days. Could you please tell us your booking code in case it was sent from other titular? Moreover, mails in that address are replied in less than 24 hours to the provided mail during the booking process. Regards

I would recommend reporting to ACCC
Tell your credit card company get them to retrieve it back if possible. I shut my card down as soon as I figured out what they were up to, I was lucky , I hope you have some success.

Mails in firstname.lastname@example.org are replied in less then 24 hours. Could you tell us yours to track it?
Thats not true at all. I sent a response to your company last Thursday 5/9 regarding a refund and have had no reply. I even sent a follow up email on Saturday and still nothing.
