effort to contact them, they cancelled the first contract and issued a second one for a 42kW battery. Although they promised installation within one week, they failed to contact me for three weeks. When an installer finally arrived for an inspection, they never returned to complete the work. I have since attempted to contact Tru Solar multiple times with no response. Beware of this company; their conduct is unprofessional and predatory.

This is Terrible Australian Company which steals from hard working Australian people! NIL (0) Stars – Phoned Tru Solar and was provided a quote. Assured by Tru Solar there was nothing (NIL) more to pay. Paid extra large deposit and signed paperwork. Installer arrives demanding additional $150.00 cash. The installer said he couldn't fit two panels on the roof and could not leave them for me so he took the panels. When we purchase products in Australia we expect the deal or a refund! Great customer service but inverter failed – Inverter failed within first 4 months. Called Trusolar, sent photos of the fault, spoke to Shanaya over the phone who was really great to deal with and organised replacement under warranty.

All was good – Vincent, Shane and the two installers made the installation easy. They were professional and personable. The installation took three and a half weeks from signing the contract to completion. Very impressive. Very happy. Don Show 2 replies

Subsequent to my earlier communication difficulties (see paragraph below) I found that Tru Solar were updating their phone/IT systems at the time. Once the phone system was sorted out they were much easier to contact & were very helpful. Original comments: I have full approval from Solar Victoria to install on my house so advised Tru Solar to proceed with the Order Number they provided to me. No one has contacted me about the installation for two weeks. Phone calls and emails to Tru Solar are unanswered.

Disgusting customer service – I have a TruSolar system that obviously has a problem as it’s not feeding into the grid anymore. I have rung the phone number listed for TruSolar numerous times but it does not connect. I have also emailed TruSolar but have not had any reply at all. How else can I contact them?

occurred three times. Only positive would be the lovely lady Shanaya who was patient and helpful to rectify and resolve the issue. Initially first few months I was hitting peaks at 5kw now within 11months struggling to reach 4kw.. not happy

More than happy with the result – On the 18/7/2019 I had a 5 kw solar system installed by True Solar, and for 6 weeks had a great run with it after that period I started to have a problem with the inverter. Meeeh – Took too long from initial conversation to install date 6 weeks? Vincent was good on the phone few cracked tiles on roof and just ripped my elec box off wall and left it hanging by the cables

Very good system for the price – We had 6.6Kw of panels put in with a 5Kw inverter with wifi connection. Everything is working well. About 10 panels were slightly tilted in the wrong direction but Shane organised to change them and it was no trouble for the installers to come back and tilt them slightly the other way. for this time of year. I love the wifi connection which I struggled connecting by following the instruction manual but Trusolar gave me the number of the Inverter people and they were very patient and walked me through the whole process. Thanks to Vince, Shane and Simon.

Terrible customer service, had a nightmare experience. Would strongly recommend not choosing this company – Had terrible experience trying to book in an install date. Then installation took over a week. The solar system then continually failed and was not producing for many many months dispite my constant complaints and phone calls. They then failed to submit my new meter application so even after all these issues I was not receiving credit for any solar I was producing. Do not touch them! – I have a steel framed roof with tiles. When I paid my deposit this was advised and the sales consultant checked with the installation team this would not be an issue. 8 weeks have passed and they cancelled my installation date the day before stating they are unable to install on a steel frame. They do not send anyone out to inspect the jobs and are simply wanting to secure your deposit, worst customer service I have ever received. Don't do it!

He was on his own and worked tirelessly throughout the day to ensure the panels were completed before the end of the day - he was happy to come back the next day (a Saturday) if he couldn't complete. Dave handled himself professionally and courteously throughout the whole installation and left the sight spotless when he finished. Can't recommend Dave highly enough - a true professional that knows what he's doing!!
