Do not go to any place using this system, they CHARGE THE CUSTOMER for the privilege of paying with a card. Not on at all. Check prices at point of sale.. no stars for tyro.

apple and android phones failed. 4, Another new machine came, again it is not able to do health (medicare, health funds...). How st^pid and careless can a company be. Follow-up · Quick response to Tyro following this complaint, but one month on and still things are not sorted The original person handling the complaint has now changed, and is no longer replying to my messages which is frustrating. To then see the 'high volume of calls/messages' comment, is a bit of a slap in the face when my issue, which is very complex, is not being prioritised.

Awesome EFTPOS Machine – Since changing over to Tyro l have not had any problems with the machine, any phone conversation with Tyro they have solved any question asked. Highly recommend Tyro for your EFTPOS or Counter top machine. Show 2 replies
Tyro is great except – Every time I use my finger to tap the pre screen, it says my token has expired . I always have to restart before It accepts . They obviously have been trained to talk to you like they are your best mate but they also clearly have not been trained to know how to handle any issues you may have. After spending an entire month calling tyro customer service, having my emails ignored and misinterpreted by Daniel Mansutti (acting sale manager) and being promised a call back from the Health team on multiple occasions, I just was told that not a single call back request had been passed through to the appropriate department. After an entire month of calling again and again, waiting on hold for hours and being dealt with by people that had no idea what to tell me, I was unable to talk to or email the appropriate department that could help me to set up the machine properly.
The impression I get is that this is a toxic company, probably run by a psychopath. Save your energy and avoid tyro.

With held thousands of dollars of my money because of an error with them being able to withdraw less than $200 worth of their fees. Sent me a form to correct the bank account details then told me they couldn’t process it because it was the wrong form. Don’t even sign on with them. Terrible terrible service.

DO NOT USE TYRO – Their payment terminal has been a whole world of pain. Constantly getting disconnected. Needs to be rebooted constantly. We lose payments and customers. The cafe/fast food sector is barely hanging on as it is; we have no chance with a millstone like Tyro hanging around our necks. And of course, they never fail to charge us hundreds of dollars a month despite the losses we make because their stupid terminal won’t take payments.

surcharge added. It only shows in my bank's app as money debited from my account, and I had to call the business to ascertain who charged it!!! It's all being done so surreptitiously because they know it's an ugly way to do business.
The business suggested that at the time of purchase to pay via BSB Bank Transfer to avoid the unwarranted surcharges. Will be doing that from now on, and recommending everyone pays this way whenever possible to do the dirty back on these thieves!

Don't Care and Don't Want To Know – Reported a merchant using Tyro and were excessively applying surcharges of 2% and not even displaying any notice about surcharges Tyro didn't want to know..They said to take it up with the merchant. Even though this on breach of their own terms and conditions.

Non existent customer service – I can NEVER get through. Even same day service is impossible. The hold message gives you the option to press 1 for a return call but you press 1 and it does nothing. They have non existent customer service which is shocking for the fees they charge.

NEW TYRO PRO TERMINAL TERRIBLE – Updraded to Tyro Pro. WORST mistake ever, it is so delayed and drops out when serving customers. It times out and when I called Tyson their response was that it could be your internet provider even though my internet is lightening speed so they sent out another terminal with the same issue. What a disgrace , being back the original terminal.

centre sessions we were promised we wouldnt hear from them again. We still have Star Track trying to deliver the machine and American Express calling to connect our service. Not transparent in the fact local call centres are not used for complaint issues. Our company will gladly not recommend these disorganised and difficult to deal with people.

They offer a call you back but they don't respond in a timely manner - forcing you to stay on hold to get something resolved. When you do get through, the staff are nice but not empowered to help. We have a small family business and we have lost a significant amount of business and all we get when we call is “sorry you feel that way” “nothing we can do to make the delivery faster” “sorry supervisors don’t take calls” We bought a tile trying to hobble through but that drops out every 3rd transaction and needs to be reset. Customers get sick of waiting and leave. Understandable so now our business is getting bad reviews and complaints even though we have spend over 20 hours on the phone BEGGING for a solution. They can not explain why it takes over 2 weeks to send out a cord, only explanation is “someone made a mistake” but we’ve spoken to no less than 10 people so at least 10 people effed up! No customer can believe in 2024 a simple eftpos terminal can’t be fixed or replaced in over 2 weeks! It makes our business look unprofessional. They have offered to refund us for the rental on the terminal that doesn’t work. most idiotic thing I’ve ever heard in my life. Gee thanks?

No problems until you have a problem – No problems until you have a problem! Expect to be on hold for up to an hour and a half waiting for customer service . It's absolutely ridiculous expecting customers to wait that long for assistance. We have recently opened a new clinic and it has taken nearly 6 weeks to set up a new machine there - and we are still waiting! The day the satchel arrived we boxed up and returned the devices, they were delivered according to the tracking, but their automated system keeps harassing us. And every time we try and contact customer service they don't respond. They have a very poorly run back-end (which is why we cancelled) and no customer service.
