Ultiqa lifestyle problems
Found this - interesting on ASIC re problems and court proceedings
We have had our membership for years and heaps of issues. I am disappointed if they have invoiced annual fees if in liquidation.
Who ever reads this, STAY AWAY from this scheme!! I am not a bot haha
I'm writing on behalf of my Aunt who's in a home now, she's safe and well.
I have no vested interest in the service that they provide or the monthly direct debt that the company took from my Aunt for the last two decades, to which the last time the service was used was circa 2009. There was a 5 year span where there no comms/campaigns from the company to re-engage/promote the use of service.
Bottom line, avoid ULTIQA completely!!

DEFINITELY A SCAM
Like many others, my husband and I are still paying for the membership that cost $17,000 plus interest on in-house financing that they provided. You are also being charged almost $900 on membership fee every year. That was 5 years ago and so far only 2 successful hotel bookings in Adelaide. Every time you tried to make a booking, it is either no availability (even though you are trying for more than a year's notice). I will be taking it up to the attention of ACCC and all agencies for their activities. I believe they are selling holidays with nothing at all. Maybe a media exposure as well to stop them from scamming more people.
AVOID AVOID AVOID
Do not use this company, for the price you pay $10,000 plus hidden fees an over priced annual administration fee, not helpful at all, wife and I booked a room through them as we are members (which I suggest never doing) only to be told our room wasn't available and we got downgraded, promises broken, I can only liken them to wolf of wall Street characters, thappy charming to your face and once they have your money they are laughing behind your back
Scam Rip offs
Our trip cost us $21,000 . When health became an issue, we had to cancel. All we got back was $10,000.
This outfit is a scam organisation. Now we are paying $222.00 a year for nothing.
How do we get out of this. Both retirees. I recommend people, stay away from this outfit.
This timeshare is unable to provide anything for what we pay. They were unable to provide any accommodation when we visited Peru, Southbank (close to home) & Philippines. We have paid a total of $9144.72 to this company since 18th April 2018 and have received nothing in return but unavailabilities & up-sells. We are at a major loss. Loan Contract is with FHF: Future Holiday Finance (ACN: 108475298) which is ULTIQA's default loan company. We were a bit suspicious at first because they approved the loan straight away without assessing if we could...actually afford the loan. ULTIQA & FHF have rejected our request to discontinue the payments. When we use our work annual leave, we can't even holiday with ULTIQA because they have no availabilities, therefore have to book accommodation outside ULTIQA & be more out of pocket. This company is a joke!
Scam company! Beware
Got scammed by this company too. On our first family holiday back in 2017 got offered the scratchy... Have never been able to afford another holiday because of the interst &repayments on a $17000 scam.. this company promise an opportunity to be able to take breaks with the kids more frequently & at better accomodation sites but whats on offer is crap. Tried very hard to terminate contract but its water tight. Sucked every last penny from our family & we never got close to our dream holiday in queenstown NZ ,or even a nice destination closer ie ...melbourne. This company will bleed the life out of every good, honest, hard working family & not bat an eyelid. Stay clear. Two words i wish i'd used when my daughter "scatched" us an "amazing holiday (which we never got).. .."NO THaNKs".
SCAM SCAM SCAM
This business should banned and hope we will all get our money back from these thieves. They are monsters and they need to go to jail for stealing and eating peoples money. They sold us a product that doesnt even exist. We are part of ASIC now and hope and pray for Gods help to bring them down. It is about time that someone do something about this before they fool more people. Never ever ever go near these liars they promise and show you all the luxury accomodation but every time you try to book even 1 year in advance they still say its fully booked but that wasnt the deal at all when they put you in a finance to get their money. Hope you will pay for what you are doing to people.
RIP OFF AND SCAM
Such a waste of nearly $19,000. We were on holiday in 2017 when a woman stopped us in the mall giving us a scratchy on scratching it it said we won 50,000 we had to go to a room to collect them. On entering the room we were told to watch a video that took a couple of hours it was all about ultiqa holidays and how good they were. We got fooled we paid just under $19,000 over 12 months for the GOLD membership. We have been on one holiday in the first year as they pushed us to use our 50,000 in the first 12 months or we would lose our points w...e still had to pay for part of the accommodation cost this holiday was to Bali. Since then Ultiqa have been hard and difficult to book through. Whenever we try to book a holiday they claim everything is booked out and there are no vacancies doesn't matter what destination we choose it's always the same. This is a SCAM and a total waste of money don't waste your time or money with this company they rip people off. Very disappointed as they promised so much and give absolutely nothing. Ultiqa hype it up and make it sound exciting before you sign up its far from exciting it's an expensive mistake with a company that is fraudulently taking peoples money and not providing the holidays they say they do. Just pay for holidays as you want them don't get caught up in this Ultiqa SCAM. We still get charged yearly membership and monthly fees and get nothing for it. Rip Off Scam Expensive Mistake Ultiqa is a Fraudulent Company obtaining peoples' money deceiting them and giving false information The one holiday we had with Ultiqa in 2018 to Bali was an average presentation hotel not high quality hotel service was very average was a disappointment
Expensive but offers benefits to those who can travel.
We have been members for approx 10 years and holiday locations include New York close to Central Park, the Jockey Club in Las Vegas, a Princess Eastern Mediterranean cruise, plus several Aussie locations with family and friends. We anticipate using the membership more now I have retired and passing on holiday points to our family and their families.
Definitely not for everyone if you don't have the inclination and time to holiday.
Staff have always been helpful in assisting with holiday planning and bookings.
Ultiqa scam! Stay away
While on a holiday on the gold coast, we were approached by these guys at Dreamworld and "won" a 5 day holiday to Fiji. The good old scratchy scam. They said we just have to sit through a 90 minute meeting. We went and was severely pressured into signing up to this scam. We asked questions like..
Can we get flight tickets to Europe for cheaper through ultiqa and they said yes. They gave us free points if we signed up there and then. We got pressured into signing a 15 year membership paying thousands of dollars!!! Even if you go through financia...
You have to keep paying fees and they will not cancel the points at all.
Money is not going well for a long time and we stopped paying the fees, after a while they sent us a letter from a debt collector, after calling them a number of times they are still adding fees to our account.
They will not cancel our account or let us sell the points until we have paid $1801. I don't know about you this is the worst thing we have done.
SCAM and complete rip off
Would be negative rating is possible. High pressure sales and total scam. Bought membership but basically get nothing for it. Have booked one holiday through this scheme and but it still cost me more than if I booked outside. Total zero value for money. Won't be using again and will wave goodbye to thousands. Expensive life lesson.
I can't get out of this rubbish fast enough
Sadly we were scammed. We were on the last day of our honeymoon in 2014, taking things fairly easy when we were approached about this rubbish. We sat through their 90 min session, with a lot of pressure, hype and downright lies. We were very clear with them that our primary holiday destination was overseas, mainly european destinations. The story (and it was a story - total fiction) was all about the wonderful European options they had. How easy it was to book, how simple this wonderful website and points systems was that they had... I don...'t consider myself either stupid or naive but my guard was definitely down. My son was about to head overseas to Europe for 8 weeks and my husband thought this might have been a nice way to help support his holiday so we signed up - knowing that there was a cooling off period. I waited and waited for our online portal access. It turned up 3 days after our cooling off period ended. I should have followed my gut and cancelled anyway but I gave them the benefit of the doubt on the dodgy sales pitch I'd had. I realised how difficult it was to actually get into the portal and to this day I've still never managed to logon. That's right - 6 years (and I work in IT) and I still can't log onto this stupid site. So I rang the "helpdesk". The girl there was very apologetic. They didn't have much by way of accommodation options in the European cities I was asking about. They were all major, western European cities by the way - they just didn't have anything there. She rang me back with one city where they had one option. I took it and paid for it for my son. Realistically I could have got a better deal looking on google and his friends actually did. I was so disgusted. I emailed them immediately and asked to cancel only to be told that my "cooling off" period was over. I'm not sure how I could have made a decision about remaining when I didn't have access to the services they had sold me. I've been even more disgusted to get billed by these charletans a $200+ "service fee" every year. I'm not sure what the "service" is that they're providing me for the money that I give them because there isn't any. I asked if I could cancel the membership, happily forfeiting the thousands of dollars I've paid. Apparently no - that's not an option. They'd much prefer charging me a fee for a service that they don't provide. I'm stuck in this crap for another 9 years. Do yourself a favour and stay well, well away.
Wish to get rid off our membership paid $16,000 12 years ago 30,000 points a year will have 77000 points in April 2020 just don't have time. Have stayed Gold Coast Chevron Towers very nice. Is difficult as we are in Western Australia .
Questions & Answers
I have read that Ultiqa is in liquidation and apparantly being sued. Is this true and if so we should be refunded a fair portion of our moneys paid. Worst scammers ever.
I agree entirely- we have been involved in this process and have a signed affidavit to be submitted at the trial. They are bunch of rogues.
James Silver • firstname.lastname@example.org may help as thay are looking in to it for me as I lost over 20000
Wow, just seeing this. I agree, worst scammers, and now deeper into scamming, as I tried to sell it. I need to get out. And I hope they get sued and we get some refund.
Does anyone have any news regarding the liquidation? We paid our loan with FHF and only have the membership to Ultiqa now which is supposed to go to 2028? If they are in liquidation are they still operating? My fees have been deducted up until recently and logins etc to the site still work?
Anyone have any thoughts? Just wonder if they should still be taking monies if they are in liquidation?

We stopped our money coming out of the bank and like you, we get a bill for $222. 00.they are a complete scam . We signed our lives away.
Told us to sell it as well. No one wants it. We also book cheaper than what they offer.
Were you able to get out of it by stopping payments? They entered liquidation, I am confused if we still need to be paying?
Liquidation ? So that means ? So maybe I should stop payment as well
