with the Air Con and told me it would cost $2500 to fix it! I was charged around $77 for the diagnosis. I was willing to pay the $250 for the Air Con in my car to be fixed by Ultra Tune. They said they had taken the gas out of the AirCon altogether because of some "contamination" that had been found by them.
I was recommended a Mobile Air Con expert, who only repairs car Air Cons as his business.. A Mechanic friend came along when the expert came to look at my car. He examined all parts of the Air Con and said there was nothing wrong with it! He re-gassed it and said that Ultra Tune should never have taken the gas out in the first place! He told my Mechanic friend that it was something to do with the switches/ connections, but, he does not work on the electricals in this area.
He charged around $150 (with having to re-gas it!!! ) I am a lady Pensioner who is VERY disappointed in all of this with Ultra Tune, because I trusted in what Ultra Tune told me. Thank God! I have friends who persuaded me to get a second opinion. Sorry, I will never trust Ultra Tune again!

The service provided by the Brandon Park Ultra Tune store was exemplary. Tim and the staff were courteous, explained what had to be done, came in under what was quoted and delivered a quality result faster than was expected. We are extremely happy with this service and will be going back again.
Charged for work it appears was never done and we believe the mechanic put lives in danger with gross negligence, taking payment for a car service and returning the car not roadworthy and not safe. It said the drive belt should be replaced next service (20,000km or 1 year on). Days after the service, my grandson discovered the intercooler hose was damaged and disconnected. Given that the hose has to be removed to check the battery, it appears either the battery was not checked or the hose was disconnected and not checked or put back. Then the drive belt totally shredded (see photo below), after only just over 1600kms. That left the driver with no steering or brakes - a failure that but for extreme good fortune could have caused multiple fatalities. The roadside assist technician described the servicing mechanic as 'grossly negligent' and said no way that belt could have appeared safe to leave until next service. Then, in replacing the belt, it was discovered that the front wheel nuts were rusted and seized (see photos below). The brake pads, calipers and discs surely could not have been checked because checking would require removal of the wheel. This kind of failure of duty of care could easily cause multiple fatalities. I believe I have been charged $768 not just for work not done, but to have my life jeopardised by gross negligence. Management's response to my complaint was that the car is old and has done over 150000km. True. All the more reason to be diligent, I would think, particularly when the owner is a 75 yr old woman! And 150,000km is not a lot actually. The vehicle is rated to do at least 250,000 to 300,000. But regardless, no vehicle should ever be returned from a service not roadworthy or safe.

clips on the air filter housing were broken. According to them, the damage appeared to have happened during whoever last worked under the hood—which, in this case, was Ultra Tune. Nissan fixed the issue (at a cost to us which if ultra tune had been honest it we would not be out of pocket). My partner informed Ultra Tune, but they denied any responsibility.
What made the situation even more frustrating was that our service receipt from Ultra Tune said the air filter had been replaced, yet they never mentioned that the clips had been broken during the process. If they had told my partner upfront, the problem could’ve been handled honestly and easily but they chose to be dishonest and hide their mistake. Based on this experience—lack of communication, no accountability, and the inconvenience caused and the extra money that we paid to pay for their mistake. We will never return to Ultra Tune and cannot recommend their services to anyone at all due to their lack of accountability and they are dishonest mechanics.

shields which i did not notice for a while, when asked about it they denied any knowledge of them,suggested maybe they weren't on there in first place, nonsense i have photos of car clearly showing they are on the car, p*ss poor behaviour for a business.
Forgot to reinstall a part, overcharged me, took longer than DIY – Beenleigh store took 2.5 days to complete a 5hr job. Overcharged by 25%. Also tried a nonsense upsell on new belts (belts were near-new). Didn't reinstall the clutch-fork boot (see photo), leaving my flywheel etc open to the elements/debris. Found the boot inside my engine bay 6 months later. Raised my issues with Beenleigh/Head office via email, no response. UT, if you are gonna overcharge, at least put all the parts back? Show details

checked and I had paid for them. I returned the following day to discuss my concerns regarding the accuracy of the service report, as I could tell that some things were not as listed.
The rude and outright rejection of my inquiry to the service manager of the inaccurate delivery of the claimed service showed a very different attitude, not previously experienced “We will not return to Ultra Tune”

not to drive car at all. Seems weird when car was drivable when i took it in. I wont trust them ever again. Bot impressed with ultra tune in melton. Highway robbery prices. Don’t recommend them at all.

I asked the Mt Barker branch for a small job on my quite complex 8 speed automatic transmission. I was totally encouraged to hear back from them that the job was out of their skills range. A less reputable auto shop would have taken my money for a clumsy job. Honesty about the capabilities of the shop deserves a good review.

Ultra Tune Bentley 10/10 service. Chris was great and fixed the problem on the spot. Knew what he was doing and was straight to the point. Cannot recommend enough! Other service centres gave a 1 week book in time but Chris was happy to look at straight away and diagnose. Very grateful. New owner - only had the business 6 months...give him a go!

had sent a copy of the contract outlining information via txt as that is how we had communicated but the guy hadn’t checked the message . I asked why didn’t he call me to discuss or start the work as that would have made sense . Have advised the manufacturer and they will be revising the service agreement . Pathetic and disgraceful customer service and would not recommend them for any mechanical work … service or repair !

They said the needed to replace the cooling system so i said ok and picked the car up after that. The next day it did the same thing and handed it back for them to fix and when they took it for a test drive after supposed repairs they said the motor must have a crack.
The car ran perfectly before i handed it to them and they are the only one who have serviced this vehicle since i've had it.
I've been a good costumer to them for years and always paid cash for the services, but to be treated like this and for them not to take accountability is disgraceful.
I would advise anyone USE THEM AT YOUR OWN RISK, because they are terrible AVOID!AVOIDAVOID!.
Ultra tune port Melbourne I paid far more than I should have for the service. The prices were extremely high, and I later learned that some of the repairs I was charged for were unnecessary. This experience felt dishonest, and I would not recommend this mechanic to others.

Her tone was arrogant, her attitude hostile, and her refusal to acknowledge Ultra Tune’s responsibility was appalling. This isn’t just about poor customer service—it’s about a company taking thousands of dollars from a paying client, delivering substandard work, and then hiding behind a head office representative who treats customers with contempt. No one should have to endure this level of unprofessionalism after such a significant financial outlay. Ultra Tune’s so-called “warranty of works” appears worthless if this is how claims are handled. I have booked the service to replace the gear bulb. Because of a miscommunication I was charged more. But when I asked, they quickly rectified it and re-serviced without charging extra. I am very pleased the way they handled the issue. Very good service.

Ultratune Meadow springs. The guys at meadow springs Mandurah have gone above and beyond with all kinds of issues that Ive had with my Navarra. (Especially operator error ) Always patient with my enquires and things I don't understand. Fully recommend bringing your vehicle here.
Regardless of paying considerable amount of money for membership which supposed t reduce the cost ! They added irregular items and 2 hours laboure cost surprisingly not payable with membership! They communicated with my 19 years old brother! And it was his first experience with getting the car serviced! Definitely the last with that team.

3 weeks after I got my car back I check my oil and cooler in the take it was empty and full of slug I took it back he then kept the car for few hours call me said maybe my head on the motor then the water pump I felt I couldn’t trust him so took my car for second opinion and the was airlock in the lines and no coolant in the car at all so lucky I didn’t cook my motor it cost me more money to fix that should of been done on the original job complain to head office and they were very rude would not ever recommend the Bentley store again

of these parts from alternative providers. The total amount he came up with was less than HALF of that from UltraTune. He said the UltraTune prices were based on providing genuine parts, but that in reality they would use cheaper "aftermarket / 3rd Party products" especially as I'm a clueless, single female. He also advised that several of the items which allegedly needed replacing were in perfect working order and not malfunctioning! Fortunately, I was able to obtain all the essential parts from a reputable provider and had them installed by a family friend for one third 1/3rd of the cost quoted by UltraTune. I recommend that anybody planning to leave their car with them, first do their research to ensure they're not being overcharged or indeed paying for stuff that doesn't need replacing. Trust me, it's very clear they won't be doing you any favours! BEWARE!

We have had our VW Golf at Ultratune Mittagong three times and received fantastic help and service every time. They try hard to source reasonably priced parts and charge less if the job takes less time than expected. Very friendly and efficient, communication is exceptional from the friendly receptionist to the crew.
