Brisbanes best IT retailer.
For years I've used this outlet for computer parts. Mainly because of quick and easy service. But also because when I've expressed interest in products they don't stock, to eventually become available in stock. This is a company very focused on the consumers experience and during lockdown one of the few businesses with a good level of changes to facilitate social distancing while continuing to operate.

They did what an online shop should do.
At first my order was rejected cause I used a vpn. So when I re did the order without using a vpn all went smooth. Product arrived on time and as advertised.

Fantastic prices and service

Good range, good prices, terrible service
I have purchased through UMART a few times and it has been a pleasant experience. Most recently after receiving a DOA product, I returned it expecting a refund or replacement. The item was tested by UMART technicians for 6 days before being sent off to the manufacturer for "up to 4 weeks" to determine whether it is repairable. Each email has a 24-48 hour turn around, and they basically just copy and paste the FAQ warranty information into the email without addressing any of your questions. Ideal service
What I wanted was in stock, at a good price, and I was kept well informed as to progress in delivery of the order. There were no difficulties with the order process, nor with the quality of service, and I would unhesitatingly recommend Umart to anybody.

Disappointing online purchase
Bought a graphic card on their website, paid by the card my family use on daily basis. Received email saying payment successful and my order will be processed. Later received email saying order cancelled due to high risk payment method which was suggested by their system. However, my money was already taken by them and I was not able to buy another card without the refund. Now the graphic card I can afford is no longer in stock. Should have bought from another retailer. Really bad experience for 1st time customer!!!! Took my money but never processed my order, nor refund my money!!!!

Good warranty and claim resolution service
Warranty process is easy to manage, warranty manager is very friendly and got my claim resolved very quickly after i sent in my faulty product.

Excellent covid-safe pickup service
I ordered a new printer online and it was promptly available for pickup. Arriving at the store I found them well prepared for covid-safe service. From the sanitiser at the door and the well signed waiting point I was able to tell the staff member my order number without having to touch a keyboard and get my item almost completed contact free.

Yea its pretty good
It was pretty easy to navigate the site and find the products I wanted (ram, cpu, motherboards, etc) They had a decent selection of products available and they. After ordering I just came in, gave them my order number and picked up my items, I did have to come in and refund a monitor but that was my fault as I bought a non gaming monitor thinking it would be alright for gaming but I did a little more research before unboxing the monitor luckily so I was able to refund it no problem, if you unbox the product and have regret of purchasing it then...
Read more you are not able to refund it at you've already unboxed it which is a funny way of refunding thinks but that's just how they do it I guess. All the products I ordered and picked up where all in mint condition and function perfectly as expected. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM UMART. Poor customer service. Terrible warranty.
We had a faulty motherboard. A professional computer technician advised us it was faulty.
Lodged claim on 21 December and returned the motherbooard to a Umart store on 23 December.
Called in late January to find out what was happening and eventually got an email saying it was still at repair centre and they were "aggressively pushing our partners for a resolution".
Followed up on 4 Feb and nobody could give us any information. We requested a refund as it was taking so long. Was told they couldn't guarantee refund. Tried to speak to manager...

When the existing board came back (within the published timeframe) we explained this all to you and advised the manufacturer found no fault with the product. We are unable to provide a refund on goods that are not faulty regardless of the circumstances I'm afraid. Read moremanufacturer on 5 January which is the first day they opened up post-Christmas. They replied to us on 11 January. Your motherboard was returned on 9 February. This was only just over the 4 week period we advertise and is entirely expected due to the holidays. I'm sorry you're not satisfied with the experience nor the outcome you were hoping for. I bought a CPU from umart on the 24th of December (bad time to buy and was expecting it to not come until the new year), but instead of it arriving they put the wrong address on my package and it had to be sent back to Queensland then back to me in Victoria. on the 26th my $400 CPU finally arrived and came in a PLASTIC BAG WITH 1 LAYER OF BUBBLE WRAP and what do you know the CPU was broken because the whole box for the CPU was smashed up and didn't work at all. but now in February i'm finally getting my money back.

This is not exhaustive and cannot share all the reasons our system may decline an order. When orders are cancelled, refunds are automatically processed but can take some time for banks to process the refund back in your account. I am sorry you have had this experience.
