I’m so dissatisfied at the way my click and collect order has been handled. I ordered almost a week ago and still waiting to get email, went to the store and they couldn’t help even though the product was available, asking me to purchase another and get refund for the order, very distressing as item was needed urgently for a Friday and I had been… Read more

waiting since Monday. If I had to pay twice might as well have gone to another store. Uniqlo’s interpretation of click and collect differs from other stores so AVOID this store if you need anything in a few days let alone a few hours!!!

It’s a few years since I purchased Uniqlo clothing. I bought some items in Jan 2026 and am shocked at the decline in quality. The clothes stain easily and the stains remain even after specialised laundry treatment. These clothes cannot be recycled and need to go to refill. Truly disappointed in the low quality and standards of these products. Show details

The Best and Most Affordable Clothing Store in Australia! I am really shocked with the low Product Review rating of Uniqlo!!! The designs are elegant and the quality is the best, it is much better than expensive brands that cost triple its prices. I discovered this store more than a year ago. I highly recommend it.

Rip you off. Advertise a sale price and charge full price. Staff refused to acknowledge the sale price even when shown the sale price sticker. This was advertised as $29.90 and full price $39.90. I have lodged complaint with Office of Fair Trading. Show details

Breach of ACCC guidelines – I purchased a couple of navy blue Marvel kids tshirts at the Highpoint Victoria Uniqlo store on 21 November 2024, the price of which was clearly displayed on the shelf they were resting on. The large price label did not specify any particular tshirt style and was worded ‘limited time offer $14.90 regular price $19.90’. When I arrived home I… Read more

realised I had been charged $19.90 instead of $14.90 for each tshirt.

I attempted to call the store a number of times on the contact number displayed on their website without success. Each time the call diverted to message bank.

I managed to speak with customer service via their online chat. As requested, I emailed a copy of my store receipt to them on the day I purchased the tshirts.

I again visited the store on 22 November 2024 (today) and spoke with the manager there.

I showed her the misleading signage on the shelf where I had chosen the two tshirts from.

The pile of tshirts was still there (see attached photo - pile of navy blue Marvel tshirts on second top shelf to the left of the pink tshirts) with the misleading pricing displayed beneath.

The manager acknowledged my email sent to their customer service and advised the tshirts were going to be removed from that shelf.

I explained to her that the price label was very misleading because of where it was positioned and as it didn’t refer to any particular style.

She did not offer to provide me with a refund of the price difference. I then returned the tshirts and obtained a full refund.

It’s frustrating that the Highpoint store is unable to be contacted via telephone and that I had to make a special trip in to the store.

It’s also disappointing that I was not offered a refund of the difference in the shelf price and what I paid at checkout. If I had been offered a refund of the difference I would have happily kept the tshirts.

The accc.gov.au website states:-

When the price at checkout does not match the displayed price:-

Sometimes the price of an item in store or online at the checkout may not match the displayed or advertised price in store or online. If this happens, even by mistake, the business must either:

* sell the product for the lowest price - either the checkout price, or displayed or advertised price, or

* stop selling the item until the incorrect price is corrected.

Whilst I normally enjoy shopping at Uniqlo, this particular experience has been most frustrating and disappointing.

I hope that the Highpoint store takes note and complies with the ACCC’s above guidelines in the future.

Long time customer no more – Unfortunately, Uniqlo has declined in its quality over the years. I was a loyal customer and have spent $100s on their products but now I have withdrawn my membership after several quality issues and poor customer service experiences. Unfortunately their quality has become worse than Target or Kmart with most items fraying or becoming damaged… Read more

after only a few washes. The strings in their gym shorts break so easily after a few washes and items like shirts and tshirts develop holes very quickly. My most recent experience was with their Woolen sweaters where a hole developed in the Merino sweater after only a few wears (and no washing). I am usually fairly accepting of clothing damage if it's reasonable, but this was the last straw. After contacting Uniqlo, they dismissed my request for a store credit to exchange blaming me for the damage. I will now have to escalate to ACCC. Please avoid shopping here and just go to Target or Kmart - it's cheaper and their products last longer. Or stick to Online retailers like Amazon which have far more generous returns policies for damage.

Canberra Uniglo Store brilliant! – At least for the Physical store in Canberra, Uniglo were brilliant. There were lots of choice for men's trousers, way better than H&M and DJs and of course much cheaper than DJs. up a pair of trousers. Trennery in DJs just look at you and say our twice the price trousers only come in one length. Uniglo seem to have a Japanese service ethic rather than a cut costs to the bone and overwork our staff approach which is the current Aussie corporate ethic. The Canberra store is only two months old, and judging from reviews of other stores it is possible there is some kind of introductory amazing good service going on, or there just happens to be a great manager of this store.

So disappointed in the declining quality of their clothing, specifically anything woollen. Their lambswool unisex jumpers are so much thinner now! Just cheap quality in general. I loved my old 100% wool jumper.

Product quality is getting worse each year, cashmere is thinner and t shirts always gets stains that cannot wash out even when scrubbed. Dark clothing fades after a few washes and leaves light and dark patches where the dye hasn’t set properly. Unless it is half price or less I wouldn’t even bother as it’s no better that Target.

Terrible customer service and even worst shipping – I had a holiday to jet off to in 2 weeks, so I went into a Uniqlo store wanting to purchase a set outfit but my size was not in stock. I’ve contacted customer service numerous times explaining the situation, only to be met with “We will investigate this for you and contact you soon”. I didn’t hear back. 2 months later, I’m still $189 down

Something smells fishy – I ordered a T-shirt for my son’s birthday online under the advice from staff as it was not in stock in the store but could have it delivered to my local store. Got home cut the bag open and the wrong shirt was in it. So I took photos and sent in a complaint. Got no response just a return for credit voucher. There is no customer service or care number to call by the way. So I took the item back into store. The young guy I spoke to was apologetic and offered a refund but wanted to check with the manager and explain what happened. The manager then scanned the tag on the shirt and it was for the one I ordered. But the shirt I got hadn’t been in stock for 3 years! The manager then said he needed to follow up with the warehouse, to leave the item with him and they would call me back. This time refused to give me a refund until after the investigation. Now I felt like the suggestion was that I had exchanged an old shirt for the new one and tried to return it but the packaging and labels were original. Other than the white plastic bag I had cut open to get the shirt out still in its see through plastic bag. I’ve still not heard back from the manager. No refund, no shirt no present for son and no service. Something I would expect from an online store in Chyna.

Please, change your courier company! – I love Uniqlo, really love them. Most of my clothes are from there. But the online experience is a nightmare thanks to their awful courier company, Shippit. Unsold sale garmet back to full price – I used to like shopping at Uniqlo as their clothes are reasonable quality for the price, clean and unpretentious designs.
